James' Confession

After accompanying Bianca back to doing USG, Alan immediately invited the woman to go shopping to buy all the needs and baby equipment. What Bianca will need after delivery. Alan has also determined which hospital will be where Bianca gave birth. The man had even asked the hospital to prepare the best room. The best doctors and nurses. And, of course, it must be a woman. Alan doesn't want another man to see his wife's limbs.

“Alan.” Bianca again tightened her grip on Alan as she felt that the people around her were watching. Instead of going to the mall, Alan actually invited Bianca to go shopping to “Me and My Baby Shop” located near one of the largest shopping centers in Washington.

“What's up? Are you feeling tired?” Alan asked while looking at Bianca worriedly.

“I'm fine.” Bianca replied with a deep smile.

As long as the doctor examined the condition of his fetus, Alan never let go of the grasp of their hand. The two men's eyes also focused on staring at the monitor which showed the condition of their child who was in the womb.

“I'm already impatient.” The happy sparkle emanated clearly from Alan's face when he recalled the condition of their baby who was fine. Even so healthy.

Until now, neither Alan nor Bianca knew at all the sex of their child. More precisely, Alan who did deliberately do not want to know. He wants everything to be a surprise on the day of his wife's delivery. Men or women make no difference. As long as it is the fruit of his love with Bianca.

“Honey, everything will be fine.” Alan unhesitatingly kissed the back of Bianca's hand and managed to attract the attention of those around them.

Bianca knew she might be scared too soon. After all, as time passes, he will face what is called childbirth. The first in his life. Even though the doctor has given him advice if he can choose to give birth normally or even with cesarean section. But Bianca still can not get rid of her fear. What if something happens to her when she wants to give birth later? Or worse, what if something happens to their child?

“Bianca.” Call Alan softly. I wish the woman could be a little calmer.

“Trust me, everything will be fine. I'll do anything for both of you.”

The fear that had enveloped Bianca's heart, slowly disappeared as she stared at her husband's black iris. The man spoke with great earnestness. Without a trace of doubt. Bianca believes that if, as Alan said, everything would be fine. Bianca is surrounded by people who care and love her sincerely. Even though his parents were so willing to throw it away, but now God has replaced it with something much better.

“Thank you.” Bianca was happy. After regaining her spirit, the woman immediately focused her attention on every corner inside the store. Suddenly, her instincts as a woman rose. His desire to shop and buy everything was at the top. With sparkling eyes, Bianca immediately looked at Alan fixedly while smiling widely.

“You can buy everything.” Alan's words were like a green light for Bianca. Just like Alan, he was also impatient to wait for the presence of their children. Also put on funny clothes that are now successful in grabbing his attention.

After hugging Alan a glance, Bianca immediately stepped up to walk around. Looking for something that caught his attention.

“Can you take that shirt?” Bianca said to one of the store employees who looked the same age as her. Who looked at him with doubt.

“You sure?” Ask the female official while looking at Bianca. Because, currently Bianca pointed to one pair of baby clothes located inside a glass cabinet with the words “limited” on the outside.

“Yes. I want that one.” Bianca replied while nodding steadily. There is nothing wrong with every word. For him, buy or not, all employees in the store must serve every visitor as well as possible.

“Can't, Miss. The shirt should only be touched after you buy it.” Bianca's face, which had been friendly, immediately turned flat accompanied by a cold gaze. He was very sure that the female employee was underestimating him.

“Did you underestimate me for the clothes I was wearing?” Bianca spoke sharply with a gaze that never escaped the face of the employee. When she knew if she was just going to check the condition of her womb, Bianca decided to wear a calf-topped shirt, short-sleeved and ivory-white he bought at a small shop located on the side of the road. Bianca does not even care at all if the clothes she wears are well-known brand items or not. As long as you feel comfortable, there will be no problems at all.

“Appearance is the most main.” Said the female employee without interest.

“Honey, what's up?” The new Bianca opened her mouth again, stopped by the presence of Alan who stepped slowly to approach her. The man was also busy looking for and choosing clothes that he considered good.

“I want that shirt but this woman actually treats me unfriendly because I feel sure I can't afford it.” Alan who heard the words of his wife, suddenly looked at the woman named tag “Sarah” was sharp. Strangely enough, it makes the woman look down with a blushing face.

“What is the price?” Alan asked coldly. The man held Bianca's hand.

“Ya?”

“Are you deaf? I asked the price of the clothes in the closet.” Alan looked more and more at the woman. It even attracts the attention of other visitors.

From the beginning, Alan knew very well if the place he chose to take Bianca shopping was one of the most expensive baby equipment centers. But he never thought that Bianca would get unpleasant treatment just because of the woman's very simple appearance. Which doesn't even matter to him.

“Only fifteen million?”Alan laughed at the employee's response. Before long, his gaze turned sharp again.

“Give me all the most expensive baby clothes and gear here. And make sure that no one wears it but my son.” Sarah, who heard Alan's reply, could only round her eyes in disbelief. If the man asks for all the most expensive items in his place of work, then the man has certainly spent a lot of money.

“Didn't you hear what my husband said?” Bianca who had been silent, opened her voice again while looking at the employee coldly.

“Yes? Baik–baik, Mister. Do you want to pay for it with kre—” card

“I don't like to owe.” Said Alan quickly. He immediately took out one of his black-gold debit cards. Still holding Bianca's hand, she led the woman to walk to the cashier's desk. Leaving Sarah alone who could only peck with a paled face.

The store manager, who had just learned of the actions of one of his employees, quickly approached Alan and Bianca and apologized.

“How much should I pay?” Alan asked the cashier. Ignoring the store manager who was endlessly apologizing to the two of them.

“Just two hundred million? Tsk!” Alan quickly swiped his debit card indifferently. Also type the password of the card without caring about the surrounding circumstances. After the payment was completed, Alan immediately looked at the manager who had called Sarah to stand next to him while apologizing.

“I don't need the receipt. And you ...” Alan turned to stare coldly at Sarah who could only bow before him. Inwardly, Alan could only hope and pray that when he got home, Bianca's mood would improve.

“Thank God I didn't make you lose your job right now. Let alone to fire you, to make this store fall apart I simply flip the palm of the hand.”

“Mr. Drax, please–please forgive me.” The manager looked back at Alan pleading fearfully. He just knew who the man was after seeing his debit card and reading the name listed there.

Even though he is one of the most successful young entrepreneurs, not many know who the real figure of Alan. Apart from rarely appearing in front of media—almost all offers to appear on TV he refused. Not infrequently, Alan will tell Jimmy to represent him to attend important events when he is lazy.

“Alan, I'm tired.” Bianca. The long stare at the employee's face made his mood worse.

“Mr. Drax, let us bring you your stuff.” The manager immediately called four of his male employees and told them to bring all the items Alan had bought.

Alan did not respond to the manager's remarks and preferred to step away with Bianca. He also did not care about the four men who followed him in silence to the parking lot while carrying a lot of grocery bags.

On the eve of dinner, Jimmy called James and asked the man to come to his house. Not only was it just an ordinary dinner invitation, but there were also some things he wanted to ask the man.

“Doctor.” Jimmy handed James a can of beer which the man happily accepted. After finishing dinner together, Jimmy immediately led James to the living room. Leaving Fiona and Jane in the kitchen.

“How is Jane doing?” Ask Jimmy. The man took a sip of his beer and looked back at James.

“Jane? He is doing fine.” Answer James. Trying to calm down in his sitting as Jimmy kept staring at him intensely.

“What about your relationship?” James was grateful that the beer he had just drunk had been swallowed first. If not, then it can be predicted if the drink in his mouth will gush out and hit the face of Jimmy who was sitting not far in front of him.

Jimmy realized that the question might have been sudden, but he still didn't care. Today, he had to make sure of everything. Jimmy no longer wanted to make the same mistake of not being able to protect his own brother and again put the woman down.

“We—”

“Jimmy.” Jane's soft voice made the two men look at her simultaneously. With a gentle smile, Jimmy asked Jane to sit down near James.

Jimmy could never forget how surprised he was when he just came home and found Jane was focused on arranging some dishes on the dining table. What amazed him even more was that, the woman also greeted him gently. Complete with a big smile. And Jimmy was pretty sure it had something to do with Jane spending time in the park with James.

“Do you really love Jane?” Jimmy's question made James look at him in disbelief. So did Fiona who just appeared from the kitchen.

Jimmy admitted that he was very happy about Jane's change. Although still not too often talking, but Jane is more active in moving and does not spend time sitting in the room.

“I love him, Jimmy.” James replied steadily. Even in his heart, he still felt afraid that Jimmy would reject him.

“Even if you know the condition like that?” Ask Jimmy again.

Jimmy could clearly see the look on Jane's face turned sad. He has no other choice. To prove James's sincerity, he had to do it.

“What do you mean? Didn't I tell you that Jane's not a lunatic? He is only in a state of recovering himself.” James stared at Jimmy. I don't like the man's words. Even without caring about Jimmy, James immediately clasped Jane's hand tightly and managed to make the woman look at him in shock.

“You sure? What if Jane was back to the way she was? Do you still love him? Or you just need—”

“Jimmy!” James involuntarily shouted in anger. Both jaws are hardened. He did not accept every bad word that was addressed to Jane. Even from Jimmy.

“I wouldn't mind if you still doubted me but I wouldn't be able to take it if you said bad about him.”

“Doctor, you know very well that Jane is the only family I have ever had. I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't hurt her and make her shed tears. At least, I want to know if you're not a jerk.”

Unknowingly, Jane, who was still sitting near James, shed tears. He looked at Jimmy sadly. There was so much he wanted to say but his throat was choked.

“Jane!” James was shocked. He quickly wiped away the trace of tears on the woman's cheeks.

In his silence, Jimmy could clearly see the radiance of sincerity from James' gaze on his brother. Slowly, Jimmy got up from his seat to stand in front of Jane.

“Jane.” Call Jimmy soft. Jane looked up, looking back at her little brother clingy.

“I'm sorry.” Jimmy said slowly. He landed a warm kiss on the woman's forehead.

“For this time, I'll let Doctor James drive you to the room.” After saying that, Jimmy immediately stepped into his room. Which was immediately followed by Fiona who had been staring silently from afar.

“Jane.” James stroked Jane's cheek gently again. He looked warmly at the woman who had been sitting on the bed facing him.

Right now, they're just the two of them in Jane's room. James even tried his hardest to hide his heartbeat by keeping a tight grip on the woman's hand.

“James.” Jane smiled. Reply looking warmly at the man who has managed to fill his heart and mind.

“Jane, I promise to always be by your side.” James. The man kissed the back of Jane's hand and then looked back at the woman.

James is grateful that Jane has shown many signs of change. Until at any time, he will remain faithful waiting for the woman until she really returns to being herself.

“Ya.” Jane replied briefly, smiling happily. His heart again rippled happily hearing every sentence full of sincerity that was thrown from the man's lips.

“I love you, Jane.” Closing his eyes, James landed a kiss of affection on the woman's forehead.

He wanted every second of Jane's life from this moment on, there was her who was always on the woman's side. Both in joy and sorrow. James will remain loyal to the woman no matter what.

Even if one day Jane might not like it anymore, he will remain by the woman's side to ensure that the man of his choice will be someone who is truly capable of making her happy.

“Thank you.” Without James guessing, Jane actually rose from her seat and hugged her tightly. Both of the women's eyes were closed when they felt the man's soft elution in his long hair.

Although not the first, but Jane hopes that James is the last man in her life. That would accompany him to spend the rest of his life. Without ever getting bored.
