After feeling a little calmer, Bianca decided to take a bath. At least, being under a shower can make his mood and mind better. She also thanked Alan because the man faithfully hugged her without asking anything.
“Minum.” Alan, who had just returned from the first floor, thrust a glass of warm chocolate milk at Bianca. He made it himself because Sofie had been home since this afternoon.
“Thank you.” Bianca said with a smile.
Alan only stared at Bianca in silence as the woman gulped down the glass of milk she had made voraciously. Come to think of it, Bianca was the first woman he made the drink.
“Wittingly wanted to tease me, huh?” Alan asked as he wiped the remaining milk on the corner of Bianca's lips using his thumb. His eyes wink mischievously while licking his fingers.
“I want to rest.” Bianca's call is fast. He no longer wants to be under Alan's control and makes himself not get enough sleep rations. Bianca couldn't keep up with the energy Alan had when they were making love.
Alan laughed a little. You know very well that Bianca is subtly insinuating him. Before long, his gaze turned intense. He hoped Bianca would tell him soon.
“What?” Ask Bianca. Pretending not to understand what Alan's gaze meant. He wanted to tempt the man.
“Do I have to force you?” alan said as he held Bianca's chin. The corner of his lips was drawn upwards—forming a naughty grin. Alan knew that Bianca wanted to tease him. And replying to that woman is the best way.
Bianca smiled slightly. Quickly, he closed both of his eyes—as if challenging Alan. Alan was not silent either. He immediately kissed Bianca's lips. Then soften it. Each other twists the tongue several times and ends with a light peck on Bianca's nose.
“Actually, both of my knees were injured not because they had completely fallen. At that time, there was a car that intended to hit Lily.” Bianca. His eyes looked at Alan fixedly.
“I saw it, immediately approached Lily and pulled the girl to the side of the road, we both fell together. And lucky, Lily wasn't hurt.” Bianca's face murmured angrily as she recalled Cathy's actions back then. He really doesn't think it out. How could Cathy so steadfastly want to hurt an innocent person at all.
“Should have been since I weed—”
“That's why I forbid Jimmy to tell you.” Cut Bianca. He looked at Alan annoyed. From the beginning, Bianca was already convinced, if Alan knew what had happened to him, then it was the man who would act to take over everything.
“Why? You don't want me to help you?” Alan's question didn't take it. He looked at Bianca with squinting eyes.
Bianca sighed softly.
“Not like that. I don't know who did it yet. Therefore, I ask Jimmy to watch from afar and follow the car when I want to escape.”
“If it is like that, I can also do it.” Alan said flat. It's obvious that he's jealous of Jimmy.
Oh God.
“Do what? I'm sure you'll torture Cathy.” right away Bianca said unconsciously. His eyes were irritated.
Alan did not answer. He just stared at Bianca fixedly while confirming the woman's words in his heart. Bianca's right. If he did, then he would not hesitate to directly hurt Cathy. It doesn't matter if she is his cousin.
“At first, I thought if everything would go smoothly. Until finally, Lily suddenly positioned herself as an easy target for Cathy to hit.
“Is your friend okay?” Ask Alan.
“Yes. His physique is fine. But I'm sure, if Lily is a little shaken.” Bianca said sadly when she remembered her best friend. On the way home to Lily's house, the girl didn't talk much. Lily only responded briefly whenever Bianca asked. And what makes Bianca more anxious is when she finds Lily's body so cold.
“Alan, since a long time ago, I always felt that I was not someone valuable. When my parents ignored me and treated me badly, I couldn't do much more than accept it with a chest of air.” Bianca said in a soft voice. He looked at Alan fixedly with a sad look.
“Bianca.” Call Alan holding his wife's hand.
“When I first found out if they sold me to you, I could no longer hold everything back. I'm upset. Mournfully. Injured and so devastated. And even more painful, when I knew they both did it just for money.” Bianca recalled her parents' relaxed attitude and said she wanted to sell it to a foreign man. Even when he refused, his father and mother did not respond. They actually told Bianca if selling it was in return for Bianca to them.
“From childhood, I always convinced myself to never hope and depend on others. No one can please and protect me but myself. However, when Lily became the first person to extend her hand for me, all of my defenses began to waver.” After saying that, Bianca gave a knotty smile. I remember my first meeting with Lily.
“Together with Lily, little by little, I came to know the meaning of having. Meaning of togetherness. And how happy it is to have someone who cares and loves you so much.”
Alan still didn't open his voice. He deliberately let Bianca take out everything she harbored. He also wanted to know how the woman felt. Because, when he first met and looked into Bianca's eyes, Alan immediately knew that Bianca was a strong and fragile woman at the same time.
“It doesn't matter if I'm never considered valuable at all. This time, I will choose to make the person closest to me as someone valuable. Which must be protected. Even if you have to get hurt. I don't want what I'm feeling, also felt by the people I care about.” Bianca spoke in a raucous voice. His throat was choked when the pain came back to greet his heart. Being ignored, thrown away and not considered is a very painful thing. Which is possible, making people who feel it choose to die.
But Bianca chose to survive by closing her eyes and ears to all the bad words of others. Lily was always by his side. The girl always held her hands gently while smiling warmly. Bianca had already made up her mind, no matter what, she would always be by Lily's side. Even if one day Lily may no longer want it, Bianca will survive.
“And so when Jimmy told me that Cathy was behind it all, I was no longer able to contain my anger. I can no longer remain silent and let that cunning woman hurt the man I love. My anger is much greater than when I found out I was sold to you by my father and mother.” Bianca smiled wryly while looking down. He looked at his linked hand with a blurred look. Her tears were urging her to come out earlier.
“I'm sorry I haven't been able to protect you completely.” Alan spoke in a soft tone. He immediately pulled Bianca into his arms.
In Alan's warm embrace, Bianca closed her eyes and let a drop of clear liquid fall down her cheeks. He also unceasingly thanked God for still taking care of Lily. And don't let anything really bad happen to that girl.
“Ak—I never expected you to always protect me.” Bianca Whispers. Quickly, Alan let go of his embrace while holding both of Bianca's shoulders. Her jet black iris stared at Bianca inadmissibly.
“You don't need me?” Alan asked in disbelief. His heart suddenly ached when he heard Bianca's words.
“Alan, I don't need you. But I know, if there's a time when you won't always be by my side. The opposite is true.” Bianca immediately explained the meaning of her words. He did not want to make Alan misunderstand and indirectly hurt the man.
“Right now, I just want to ask you one thing,” Bianca said seriously while looking at Alan inside.
“Please, promise me—promise me if you'll never hurt me.” Bianca looked at Alan with a pleading gaze. I hope the man promises him.
“I promise.” Alan said his words steadily while peeping Bianca's forehead inside. He could not bear to look at Bianca's sad face any longer. The woman was actually able to make him bend his knees.
In Alan's arms, Bianca realized that what she had just said was a form of selfishness. It was obvious that he was forcing Alan. But Bianca had no other choice. Alan was the only one he expected to never hurt him.
Deep down, Bianca hoped that her choice was not something she would regret later.
