The Married With The Devil

The Married With The Devil
Jane

Jimmy who felt Fiona's grasp and soft squeeze in his hand, immediately looked at the woman fixedly. Her lips held a knotty smile. His face also became calmer.

“Ba-how can?” Fiona was aware that her question just now might have sounded presumptuous. But he couldn't hold himself back. He wants to know immediately without having to dissolve in his thoughts and bad assumptions on Jimmy. Which is not necessarily true.

Jimmy took a deep breath. He held Fiona's hand back.

“Jane ...”

Jimmy kept pacing around in the small house where Jane lived. His sister had not yet returned when the clock had shown twelve o'clock at night. Jane doesn't usually come home late. The woman never forgot to tell him if she had extra hours of overtime or not.

“Jane.” Mumbled Jimmy. His eyes looked back at the small alarm clock located on the worn out nightstand belonging to the two of them.

The sound of the door that had just opened, suddenly made Jimmy avert his eyes. Jane went into the house with a pale face and slightly disheveled hair. Quickly, he immediately approached the woman while holding both of her shoulders.

“Jane, what's wrong with you?” Ask Jimmy worried. His blue eyes stared intently at Jane while waiting for an answer.

Jane did not answer. He looked back at his little brother.

“I'm fine. It's just, there was a buyer who made a little problem.” Jane is weak. His body really feels tired.

“Really?” Ask Jimmy to make sure. He was afraid something bad had happened to his brother.

Jane nodded weakly as she lightly ruffled Jimmy's hair.

“I want to rest first.” Said Jane lirih. He slowly stepped into his room.

After Jane's death, Jimmy could only stare at the woman without saying anything.

For almost a week, Jimmy felt something strange about Jane. The woman gradually began to change. Sometimes, Jimmy finds Jane staring blankly at him. Or even smile sadly while hugging his own body. Not infrequently, he heard the woman laughing discordantly from the kitchen.

“Jane.” Call Jimmy when he's in the kitchen. Not far from her, Jane was cooking dinner for the two of them.

“What's up, Jimmy?” Jane asked gently, smilingly looking at Jimmy.

“I want to go out for a while.” Jimmy answered briefly. Tonight, he wants to go back to looking for a job. Because Jane is on vacation, so she can go out for a while while the woman is staying at home. Jimmy did deliberately not tell Jane, because, the woman would definitely oppose and tell him to focus on school. He just got his degree as a student. His eighteenth diony.

“Then what about your dinner?”

“Do not wait for me. I'll be home a little while.” Answer Jimmy. Before long, he stepped away after saying goodbye to Jane. He also wants to try and help the lives of both of them.

“Sial!” Jimmy exasperated when he applied for a job at one of the small bars located not far from his home. But he was rejected for various reasons. This is the third time.

Sighing in frustration, Jimmy stepped into a narrow alley and leaned his back against one of the dirty walls. In his hand was a beer can.

From a distance, Jimmy saw two men walking towards him and stopped at one of the old chairs not far from him.

“I just got a new prey.” Said one of the men. His hair was long and light yellow.

“Really? How's it feel?” Ask her friend who is short and slightly full. The interlocutor laughed for a moment and then returned to his voice.

“Satisfying. Plus her pretty face.” Proud answer.

Jimmy, who was not far from them, could hear clearly. And sure if the two of them were talking about the woman they managed to sleep with.

“What's beautiful?” The short man asked curiously.

“Hair is long golden brown.”

Suddenly, Jimmy's body stiffened. The physical features that the man mentioned were the same as Jane's. But Jimmy did not want to think bad, they could have the same hair color.

“And she has the eye color as blue as sea.” Jimmy felt the air supply around him disappear. His heart was also in there like it stopped beating. Not many have eye colors like hers and Jane's. Quickly, Jimmy ran home. His feelings turned unpleasant.

“Jane! Jane!” Jimmy stepped inside the house, shouting to call Jane by name. Before long, the woman appeared from inside her room holding a small knife.

Jimmy quickly walked up to the woman and grabbed the small knife he was holding.

“Jimmy, what is ka—”

“What—”

“What has that jerk man done to you!” Jimmy shouted furiously with hunting breath. Both of her hands squeezed firmly onto Jane's shoulders simultaneously. Jane, who heard it, fell on the floor with her head down. Before long, his little laughter sounded.

“Jane.” Shirih Jimmy. He looked scared at his brother.

“I'm dirty, Jimmy. I'm dirty!” Jane screams hysterically while staring at Jimmy with a shattered look. Both of his hands were raised to hug his own body.

Jimmy's stunned. Both of his jaws were tightly clenched.

“Pr–that man forced me to do it. I've already rejected him but he's still forcing me.” Jane spoke in a heartbreaking tone. Both of his eyes looked at Jimmy sadly but his lips flashed a wide smile.

“He took everything from me.” Jane spoke again with a small laugh. Before long, his laughter turned louder.

Jimmy was still silent while staring at Jane. Something was wrong with that woman. It dawned on her brother, the only family she had, to have been the victim of rape.

Jimmy does know that Jane never once dated. The woman was too busy working. Once she asked Jane, but the woman replied that she only wanted to get married and give it all to her husband.

Jimmy hates himself. He could not protect the only treasure he had. For a long time, they both lived and grew up in a small orphanage located far from the city center. Never knew what their parents' faces looked like. The caretaker said only that she and Jane were found near an old, uninhabited house in distress. At the time, Jane was three years old and Jimmy was very young. As she grows up, Jane invites her to move on to start her own life.

“Job!” Bail Jimmy. Furious, he ran as fast as he could to get to the man. He was sure if the two of them were still there or were busy enjoying drinks with other women in the bar.

Jimmy can't take it. He cannot accept everything. He hates himself. If he had not complied with Jane's request and decided to go straight to work, this would never have happened. His brother would never have experienced such a terrible event. Her biggest wish is to see Jane marry the man she loves. Building a full family and also full of happiness.

“This is all because of me.” Jimmy blamed himself. His hands were clenched firmly with a reddened face restraining anger. If he hadn't met Alan at the time, Jimmy would have killed the man who had done so badly to his brother and ended up in prison. And leave Jane alone.

“But I am grateful that I met him.” Say Jimmy again with a smile.

“Who?” Fiona, who had been silent after hearing Jimmy's story, turned her attention away from Jane to the man. His hazel eyes stared curiously.

“Alan. The man who unhesitatingly extended his hand to me. As well as being the only person who's been helping me all this time.” Since deciding to welcome Alan's hand to him at that time, Jimmy without hesitation told the man everything. Even the house he currently lives in is a gift from Alan. Initially, Alan wants to give her a luxury apartment but Jimmy refuses. He just wants a simple house to live in with Jane. Spending time alone even though the condition of the woman is far from okay.

“I–I accept your offer.” Fiona spoke softly while turning her gaze back on Jane's slumbering face. In her eyes, the woman looked so beautiful. His golden brown hair even shone under the dim light. Honestly, he felt guilty when he recalled his abusive words to Jimmy at that time.

“You sure?” Jimmy asked while holding Fiona's hand when he found out she wanted to forcefully pull the hand she was holding

“Ya.” Javan Fiona with a voice almost whispered. His head bowed slightly to stare at his hand held warmly by Jimmy.

Jimmy smiled a little. Her heart was no longer too claustrophobic after telling Fiona everything.

Alan, who had just parked his car in the yard, gasped in shock when he heard the door of his car was violently closed. He stared at Bianca's back as she walked quickly into the house. Even on the way home, the woman said nothing. Bianca remained focused on staring at the street in front of her with a flat and cold face. This time, Alan felt that the woman's anger was much worse than before.

“Haha.” Bianca gave a small laugh as she took off the dress she was wearing roughly. He doesn't care about the price. Alan bought it directly.

“Bianca.” Alan stepped slowly towards Bianca who was standing facing the wardrobe. His hands stretched out and opened wide to hug the woman from behind until Bianca's words stopped him.

“Do not touch me.” A cold Bianca fizz with a flat face.

Alan gave a rough breath. Slowly, he stepped back without touching the woman.

“Didn't you hear yourself if I rejected it?” Alan spoke impatiently while looking at Bianca a little irritated.

“Dan just ignored me because a much more beautiful and sexy woman is near you.” Bianca Syndicists. He wiped the make up on his face with a bit of roughness.

“Bianca, you overreacted everything.” Bianca gripped firmly on the edge of her white dresser. His heart again throbbed in pain hearing Alan's casual remark.

“I did overdo it.” Bianca looked at Alan. Both of his eyes were hot coupled with the tightness that was hugging him so strongly.

“You are free to find women who are not excessive like me.” Connect again. Before long, Bianca took a pillow from the top of the bed and moved out. Tonight, he'll sleep on the couch in the living room. Being on the man's side will only add to his pain. Bianca just wants to be alone. Crying alone without being noticed by anyone.

“Bianca!” Call Alan while following the woman. But Bianca doesn't care. The woman continued walking without any intention of turning to look at him.

“Do not care about me. You can go and go back to meet that woman named Kate.” Bianca said with trembling lips. He tried not to blame the man. Not the wrong Alan but him. Well, the only one who deserves to be blamed is her. The poor woman who shamelessly knew was on Alan's side. Though in the eyes of others, he did not deserve to be with the man at all.

“Job!” Alan growled furiously as he walked away leaving Bianca alone.

Shortly after the man's departure, Bianca shed tears. Alan should have clasped his hand and not left him alone among the crowd of people he did not know at all. But the man prefers to be with other women.

Bianca realized, as sweet as any words and deeds Alan. As often as the man promised, in the end, Alan would still hurt him. The man did not know, looking as strong as a woman, they were still fragile creatures from within. The one that is scratched a little, will leave a mark forever.
