43 Not Want to Lose You

For a full day Gwen was busy accompanying Rafael who was participating in the Olympic race. The mother and son were able to return home in the afternoon.

Getting out of the car, Gwen was stunned as soon as she saw Gustav coming out of the mansion with Lisa in his arms. 

Even more surprised when Gwen's bead eye caught a gunshot wound on the shoulder of her future sister-in-law.

"Gus, what's wrong with Lisa?"

Gustav did not answer. He drove the car at maximum speed. 

Unanswered one question, another question arose as soon as Gustav's men dragged Gordon. Reflexively, Gwen pulled Rafael to the back of her body. 

"Where are you going to take Uncle?" ask Rafael.

Just by looking at Gordon being dragged by Gustav's men, Gwen immediately understood what had happened.

Not thinking long, Gwen asked Rafael to get back in the car. Because Gwen decided to take Gustav to the hospital.

Just as Gordon was about to be put in the car. The skinny man rebelled against a driver to seize the wheel and managed to escape with the car.

In the hospital.

Gustav stood with a raging feeling inside his chest. His view never escaped from the door of the operating room where there was Lisa who was being handled by the doctor inside.

Gustav did not turn his head when Gwen and Rafael approached him. 

Gwen patted Gustav on the shoulder to give her sister a little fortitude. Without asking, Gwen knew if Lisa was still being treated by a doctor.

Gwen knew because she saw the look on Gustav's face that was still agitated.

Before long, the door of the room opened up the figure of Devan who was wearing a green operating uniform. A sharp look immediately Devan gave to Gustav.

Devan pulled the collar of Gustav's shirt for the man to see his extremely wrathful face.

"How's Lisa doing?" Gustav asked with a tail of eyes glancing at the door Devan had just passed.

"Why did this happen to Lisa? Say it! Why was Lisa shot?" Devan asked back by shouting out anger.

Gustav threw Devan's hand into the collar of his shirt. He returned Devan's angry gaze.

Nevertheless, Gustav still admitted that all this happened because of his mistake.

"It's my fault. Now tell me how Lisa is?"

"We've managed to get the bullet out but Lisa's condition is currently critical."

"What?" Gwen clenched her gaping mouth in astonishment to hear Lisa in critical condition.

Now it was Gustav's turn to squeeze the front of Devan's shirt, pulling him to return his gaze.

"Do your best for Lisa!"

With a quick movement Devan put away Gustav's hand. 

"Without you asking, I have done it with pleasure. I'm sorry I gave up once Lisa picked you. Knowing it's gonna be like this, I better take Lisa away from you."

Bugh.

Gustavo could no longer control his emotions. He punched Devan in the face, no matter if he was the doctor who handled Lisa.

Sontak Gwen screamed at the burning of the two men before her.

Devan who was about to throw a punch at Gustav suddenly stopped his action. He also did not realize that he was in the hospital.

Devan and Gustav separated after Gwen broke up. Along with Jerri comes Gustav's personal assistant.

"Why are you here, shouldn't you and my other men take care of that uninformed cousin?" gustav said growling annoyed.

Jerri's face is indecipherable. The man bowed his head looking like he wanted to talk but was confused where to start.

"Master, Gordon escaped by taking one of the cars away."

"What?" gustav was stunned and sounded so angry.

"All of you are no one. Take care of one person you can't."

"We've been chasing him, sir. And Gordon's car suddenly went on a brake and finally got into the abyss."

Neither Gustav nor Gwen had a surprised face. However, they are shocked to discover that their cousin died at the crash site.

A few moments passed with Gwen and Gustav falling silent to each other. Then Gwen woke up from sitting because she wanted to see Camilla's condition.

Gustav sighed. Because she thought too much about Lisa, she forgot about Camilla's condition after downing the poison given by Gordon.

In just a matter of hours, several unexpected events alternated making Gustav take time to accept everything that happened.

"Open your eyes. I want to see you wake up" said Gustav stroking Lisa's cheek gently, which has now been moved to the hospital room.

Lisa has been declared past a critical period. But the wave-haired girl did not open her eyes.

At once Gustav bowed his head and pounced on Lisa's neck niche. He's very guilty. If he hadn't been rash to open the door to his room.

Five minutes ago, Gustav got word that Camilla couldn't be helped. Not because of the poison, but the disease that had been eating Camilla was the main cause of the old woman died.

"I don't want to lose you. So please open your eyes!" whispered Gustav in a pushy tone.

"just free. Lisa won't listen to you" said a man who unwittingly stood behind Gustav.

"Do you want what?" Gustav asked without looking at the person behind him.

"I'm a doctor here. Of course I want to check on my patients," Devan replied casually while doing his duty as a doctor.

Gustav took a breath so as not to be provoked by emotions. Then looked seriously at Devan who finished checking on Lisa's condition.

"Is there progress? If there's no progress, I'll take Lisa to a more competent doctor."

"Lisa's condition is improving" Devan said briefly.

"But Lisa was not yet conscious, yet" Gustav looked intently at Devan, as he felt that Devan looked less serious.

Devan is silent. Even the man snuck out not wanting to give an explanation to Gustav.

"Hi, if you're not serious about Lisa. I'm going to move Lisa to another hospital" cried Gustavo holding back the back collar of the doctor's suit Devan was wearing.

"Lisa's fine. Do you understand?" Devan broke free, then snorted in annoyance as he glanced at Guatav.

"You always say Lisa's fine but I see Lisa's no progress" Gustav said no less upset.

Devan grinned. "Try to think for yourself."

Devan continued his steps leaving Gustav bowed with restraining emotions.
