Lisa took a step back, hid herself behind the gate, and saw with her bead her eyes the boy was now hugging Edgar's waist.
“Daddy, I miss you. Daddy goes anywhere.”
Edgar smiled, rubbed the top of Rafael's head, then crouched down to align his gaze.
“Daddy is on business,” replied Edgar briefly. He couldn't have told Rafael that he disappeared because of amnesia.
“But why so long, Dad?”
Rafael and Edgar's conversation did not escape Lisa's vision. The girl's breathing was choked, as well as feeling a sudden pain just pierced her chest.
A moment later, Lisa also saw a short-haired beautiful woman walking over to Edgar and Rafael with a smile that made her look very graceful.
“Rafael, let's go home. It's time to take a shower in the afternoon.”
“But Mom...” whine Rafael jerking foot.
In her place stood Lisa smiling with both eyes condensing. Until the sight of three people in the front yard seemed blurred.
Lisa took a deep breath and as quickly as possible wiped the falling tears slid into her jaw.
Edgar had a wife and children. What the fuck am I? Love someone else's husband? They look happy. Even Edgar's wife was very beautiful.
Inner Lisa in the heart with a gaze that never separated from three people who were chatting and punctuated with laughter.
Not wanting to ruin the little family's happiness, Lisa secretly chooses to return to the cab. The driver frowned because there were not five minutes the passenger came out but now re-entered.
“Quick walk, Sir!” pinta Lisa glanced at the gate. He did not want Edgar to realize his existence.
Then the taxi that Lisa was riding drove away. For the last time, Lisa glanced back at the mansion that had been Edgar's residence.
From this moment on, I should forget about Edgar. He is married and has children. After all, Edgar was just a man who had just entered my life. It must be easy to forget.
Lisa continues to monologue with her head down. Convince himself that he will be able to bury his feelings for Edgar.
Lisa chuckles at herself. Realizing he doesn't even know the real name of an Edgar, the man he and his father once saved.
Meanwhile, still in the front yard of the house, Gwen continues to persuade Rafael who does not want to take a bath. The five-year-old boy even tightened his embrace on Gustav.
“Rafael, it's time to take a shower. Your body is sticky, dear.”
“But I want to play with Daddy.”
Gwen clucked while she ruffled her waist.
“Rafael, call uncle! Not daddy,” said Gwen shaking her head.
How many times has he taught Rafael to call Gustav uncle. However, still the only child that always called Gustav with the call daddy.
Seeing Rafael pursed his lips, made Gustav rubbed his nephew's back and glanced at Gwen.
“Already, Gwen. What's wrong if Rafael prefers to call me daddy? Than that jerk guy.”
“Gustav,” strangled Gwen with bulging eyes as if she was about to get out of place.
“Why? Do you still love her?” cecar Gustav while showing a defiant attitude.
Gwen was silent for a moment, then looked down at the son she had born without a father figure. As soon as he got a sharp look from Gwen, Rafael got scared and ran into the house.
There remained Gwen and Gustav in the front yard that floated sharp glances at each other.
“I no longer love Luke but it is not appropriate that you say rudely in front of Rafael,” hiss Gwen full of anger.
“Then what words are appropriate for a man who goes with another woman when his legal wife is pregnant?” asked Gustav who also exploded in emotion.
“Enough, Gus! We should be happy because you are back, not even fighting like this.”
Gwen sighed to neutralize her emotions, turned around and stepped inside the house. However, before Gwen actually entered, she looked back at Gustav.
“Why do you stand there?” gwen asked half-collaborately.
“I'm waiting for someone,” replied Gustav briefly. Without realizing if the person who awaited had actually left a moment ago.
Gwen did not respond further. There is a lot of business waiting for him. So he continued walking into the house.
After Gwen disappears behind the door, a guard appears who appears out of nowhere.
“Where have you been?” asked Gustav, looking intently at the guard.
“So I have a stomachache, Mr.” The guard chuckled. But it stopped instantly as Gustav continued to highlight it with an intimidating look.
Gustav saw the clock coiled around his wrist, clucked irritably and began to feel uneasy because Lisa never came.
Then the guard remembered the message he needed to convey to Mr. Gustav. He patted his eel against his brain which he often forgot.
“Mr Gustav.”
Gustav threw a glance at the guard who was grinning at the teeth like a horse.
“What?” said Gustav ketus and managed to make the guard jerked.
“Mrs Camilla asks you to meet her in the library.”
A moment Gustav Gamang. Choose to see her grandmother or keep waiting until Lisa comes.
Then Gustav sighed and moved a hand telling the guard to come closer.
“Wait here! Don't go anywhere! If any young girl is looking for a guy named Edgar, contact me immediately!” order Gustav.
The guard nodded his head. After that, Gustav went into the house, more precisely to the library room.
As soon as she opened the door, Camilla immediately threw a glance at Gustav. The old woman took off the glasses she always wore when reading.
Gustav threw himself in front of Camilla. His gaze decreased looking at the files and also the photos of beautiful women. Which Gustav instantly knew the purpose of Camilla calling him.
Camilla lined up the photos showing different portraits of beautiful women. However, Gustav was not interested and instead threw away his face.
“What is this about matchmaking again?” asked Gustav who sounded so cold.
“Yes, which of these women do you think you want to know?”
“No.”
“Gustav, you have to start thinking about your future. Before I die, I want to see you married.”
“Can Grandma learn from Gwen and Luke's marriage? They got married because they were betrothed and ended in divorce,” said Gustav who was a little upset every time Camilla discussed the issue of her matchmaking with some women that Gustav did not know at all.
“But Grandma is sure your match will not end the same as Gwen and Lukas,” Camilla said confidently.
Making Gustav pull one end of his lips, clucked, and rolled his eyes lazy.
“I don't want to be betrothed. Anyway I already have a girl who will be made a future wife.”
Hearing Gustav's words, Camilla was stunned, leaning, and squinting. The sign of Camilla was very curious about the figure of the girl referred to by her granddaughter.
Camilla's eye beads looked at Gustav's facial features. He's assessing whether Gustav is lying or telling the truth.
“You sure? What kind of woman?”
“Later too Grandma will know,” replied Gustav casually.
“But you know what Grandma tastes like, right? Grandma wants you to marry a woman who is worthy of our family.”
Deg.
Gustav attempted to swallow his saliva. He threw a glance at Camilla and looked at the wrinkled face that still contained remnants of beauty in her youth.
Camilla rested both elbows on the table with her chin propping up on one of the palms. Then his lips published a grin.
“Grandma won't approve of your relationship if you marry a woman who is lower than our family.”
