“Lisa I'm hungry,” Edgar said as he lay on the floor staring at the ceiling.
There was no reply, so Edgar looked at Lisa's room and repeated his words in a louder tone.
In the rented there is only one room occupied by Lisa. While Edgar himself slept carpeted in the room that should be the living room.
The bedroom door slowly opens showing Lisa with her hair sticking out the new characteristic of waking up. And instead of going to the kitchen to cook, Lisa was lying next to Edgar.
“You think I'm not hungry either?”
Lisa closed her eyes feeling her tummy rumbling because they had no food. The money is almost over. While Lisa has not received a salary because it has not been a payday date.
Kruyuuukk.
There was the sound of stomach rumbling that protested to be filled. Esgar and Lisa looked at each other.
“That's your stomach voice?” ask Edgar.
“Not. Your stomach may,” refutes Lisa.
Which is true if it's the sound of his stomach. Lisa pressed her stomach with two hands. At least slightly relieve the pain.
Seeing the starving Lisa, Edgar did not want to stay still. He immediately got up and put on his butute jacket.
“Where are you going?”
“Ayo, follow!”
Lisa didn't want to ask much because she had to save energy. He complied when Edgar took him out of the rented alley after he had previously grabbed a jacket, washed his face and tied his hair.
Ten minutes on foot, Edgar pulls Lisa's arm to get into a wedding.
Lisa who walked slightly dragged widened her eyeballs. He was astonished and surprised when Edgar pulled him into a party.
“Edgar, what do you want here?”
“Eat for free,” replied Edgar lightly.
Make Lisa's eye bead more patterned. In his heart he cursed at Edgar's crazy idea.
Lisa looked around. Where people looked at him with strange eyes. Lisa guessed for sure because the clothes she was wearing were very simple to wear to a party.
“Hai, Bro, congratulations on your wedding huh?” said Edgar hugging the groom who showed a shriveled face.
“You know him?” lisa whispered after the two of them got off the lawn.
“No. Never mind, let's quickly eat before they know we're not invited guests.”
Edgar immediately pulls Lisa towards the buffet table. Meanwhile, the couple were still staring at Lisa and Edgar.
“Honey, you know them?” ask the bride.
“No. Maybe they're your friends, honey.”
The bride shook her head, made the groom widen his eyes and then told people to drive away two strange people who were picking up food at will.
“Ehem.”
Deheman's voice made Lisa and Edgar turn their bodies back, facing a man with a moustache.
In Lisa's heart was already feeling anxious. He glanced at Edgar who was also pale-faced.
Die us.
“Do you guys bring an invitation to this party?”
“It just so happened that his invitation to stay at home,” Edgar replied which of course was a big lie.
“You lied. You're not invited to this party. We do not know who you are,” said the bride who has now come down from the guarantee and approached Edgar.
All the attention of the people at the party is now focused on Edgar and Lisa.
“You don't remember me? I'm Lisa, your old High School friend,” said Lisa who tried to defend Edgar.
However, it seems that the charade Lisa made was smelled by the bride who now published a grin and folded her hands in front of her chest.
"So how could I possibly have a friend like you."
“Tell me! You guys come just for free meals right?”
Suddenly, two men forcefully pull the plate in the hands of Edgar and Lisa.
“We don't eat for free. We just want..” remarks Edgar hangs in the air.
“Interest what?” sentak bride.
“Ingin kabuurrr.”
As quickly as lightning Edgar grabbed Lisa's hand, ran as fast as he could through the crowd, and continued swinging his legs until he climbed the paved road.
Once they felt safe enough, they stopped. Both of them stung out of breath but as soon as laughter broke on their lips recalling the incident they had just experienced.
However, their laughter did not last long due to their extremely limp bodies. They threw themselves on the sidewalk bench.
Then, Edgar saw across the street a young man playing the violin. Obviously the young man was a busker and ignored by the passerby in front of him.
Edgar approached the busker. They chatted for a while, and Edgar returned to Lisa with a smile on his lips.
“Lisa, you can dance right?”
“Dansa?”
Lisa's face shriveled in wonder at the meaning of Edgar's question. However, Edgar seemed to not care about Lisa's answer. He still pulled the girl to stand beside the busker earlier.
Edgar wrapped his hands around Lisa's waist, while one hand was tied to the hands of the girl who was now jittery because they were so close.
Then Edgar nodded his head gesturing to the busker who immediately played his violin.
“Aw, you stepped on my foot,” ringis Edgar.
“Edgar, I can't.”
“Just follow my moves!”
Then, Edgar and Lisa slowly danced with the violin. Making people who did not care about them, now one by one began to approach.
They watch Lisa and Edgar dance to an increasingly fast pace. Not a few of them put money into a can that has been provided.
Until the violin game stops and ends with a boisterous sound of applause from the audience. Edgar and Lisa still haven't let go of their embrace.
The two men stared at each other closely, no matter the sound of applause that sank.
“According to the agreement, the results busied us for two,” said the young man made Lisa and Edgar break each other's hugs.
After saying thank you, Lisa and Edgar calculated a dime that turned out to be good enough for them to buy dinner.
And here they are. In a chicken shop. Lisa and Edgar's eyes sparkled as two bowls of noodles were served in front of them.
“Come to eat.”
“Ayo.”
Seconds next...
Dugs.
Awh.
Lisa and Edgar lowered their heads until their foreheads clashed. They both held onto their painful foreheads and laughed at their own behavior.
Edgar looked at Lisa who was still laughing. She reviews the thin smile on her lips, feeling happy next to Lisa even though they are in a very simple condition.
“You all right?” Edgar rubbed Lisa's forehead which managed to make the girl's heart beat unnatural.
The sight of Lisa and Edgar eating at a roadside chicken noodle shop did not escape the sight of a boy sitting in a luxury car.
The boy poked his head out of the car window to see Edgar. Then turned his gaze to the mother sitting next to him while playing a cell phone.
It just so happened that the car that the boy was riding was stopping at a red light.
“Mom, it's Daddy,” said Rafael pointing towards Edgar.
