Chapter 9 - Knowing the Dito Family
In the car to the restaurant before returning to town A, Dito asked, "Looks like Mitha is hiding something from you?"
"Hide what?" ask Nadine.
"I don't know. He looks really nervous, especially when he turns off his phone."
"Maybe it's true that the one who called was a prankster."
"Yes, maybe."
"Where are we going to eat?" ask Nadine.
"As far as you."
"How about it over there?" Nadine pointed towards the chicken and grilled fish restaurant.
"Alright, pretty!"
"Can you not call me that?" Nadine was uncomfortable.
"You are beautiful, Nadine. I call him that."
"I realize I'm pretty, but I don't like it" she explained.
"Well, I'll try not to call you that name" Dito promised.

The car was parked in the courtyard of the restaurant, both got down and stepped inside. Nadine immediately ordered food for herself and Dito because she was very hungry.
In less than 15 minutes, their order was placed on the table.
Nadine started to enjoy the food they ordered, she looked so excited.
The same thing Dito did.
"Try this, it tastes so good!" Nadine nibbles the grilled gourami fish and she points her hand at the mouth of the man in front of her.
Dito looked at Nadine's hand.
"Let's eat!"
Dito opened his mouth.
Nadine feeds the fish into Dito's mouth.
"Good service!"
Nadine smiled, "What I said is true, right?"
"Your tongue is smart too" Dito said.
"Of course" said Nadine.
Dito enjoyed lunch occasionally staring at the woman in front of him.
"Dito, did you have a boyfriend before?" Nadine asked as she chewed the rice.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Why did you break up?" ask Nadine again.
"Because he chose to continue his studies abroad."
"Didn't you also go to school abroad?"
"Yes, but different countries. He doesn't want to be in long distance."
"Oh, so."
"Do you love her?"
"Before we broke up, I loved her so much."
"If now?" ask Nadine.
"I love you."
Nadine speechless.
Dito laughed when he saw Nadine's face slip.
Nadine immediately threw away her face.
"Can't I love you?" Dito looked at the woman who always avoided his eyes.
Nadine took a breath.
"I was in a hurry, yeah. It's okay, one day you will definitely accept me" Dito said as he enjoyed the meal.

Along the way home, a tired Nadine finally chose to sleep.
Arriving at Nadine's parents' house in the afternoon, Dito opened the door for the woman.
"Not bother," Nadine smiled.
"I won't bother dealing with you, beautiful!"
"You always tease me" he said.
"Because I'm so happy to tease you."
"I have to go in, go home and rest."
"Yes, pretty. See you, if you want a chat buddy call me."
"Yes" Nadine smiled and pulled her suitcase into the house.
Dito rushed into the car and sped into the house.
"You're home, why so soon?" asked Rita quipped.
"Because Dito and I didn't want to stay at the hotel afraid you'd come pick up forcibly."
"Nadine, what are you, 'clean?"
"It should be Nadine who asked with Mama, home quickly was wrong."
"Mama doesn't blame you" said Rita.
"Ma, the trip was exhausting. I'll take a shower, we'll talk later."

Meanwhile Dito had arrived at his house, so that his father confronted him.
"What task did you give Troy?" ask Leon.
"I just told him to go to Mr. Malik's office." Dito replied casually.
"What makes you want to visit the CEO of Narima Group so that it sends Troy there?" ask the middle-aged man again.
"I want his daughter, Pa."
"You love her?" Leon looked at his son's face.
"Yes, I fell in love with her a year ago."
"Isn't she engaged?"
"They're over."
"Don't tell me you're the one who ran their relationship down?" Leon probing.
Dito laughed a little.
"Kan, surely you've interfered in their amorous affairs." Leon guess.
"It's better that I interfere, Pa. Nadine deserves a good man."
"Oh, so his name is Nadine."
"Yes, Pa. Is Papa going to bless our relationship?" ask Nadine.
"If Papa agrees."
"Mama does not agree!" a 53-year-old middle-aged woman who still looked fresh and fit came down from the top floor.
"Why does my mom disagree?" ask Dito.
"Mama wants to set you up."
"Sayang, biarkan Dito mencari pasangan hidupnya. Kita jangan ikut campur," ucap Leon.
"My husband, the daughter of my friend is a hardworking woman. I feel sorry for the lives of those who are now bankrupt. I just want to help her" Vina explained.
"If Mama wants to help them, Mama can hire her daughter in Papa's company" Dito said.
"He does not want to work in our company because his daughter has her own business" said Vina.
"Good then, Mama doesn't have to match me up with him."
"Mama will still match you," Vina said confidently.
"Sorry, Ma. I have to be an ungodly child, Mama's request this time I won't follow." Dito walked to his room.
"Pa, please tell your son!" whinek Vina.
"Dito is an adult let him determine his happiness" Leon said.
"Why doesn't Papa support Mama, anyway?" his protest.
"Mama remember when your parents didn't approve of me being her daughter-in-law?" Leon looked at his wife's face.
Vina tried to remember.
"What did Mom do then?" ask Leon again.
"Defuse it."
"Mama refused both parents' requests and insisted on choosing Papa."
Vina nodded.
"So, don't force Dito like our parents did. Let him love the woman he deserves. Mama wants him to be happy, right?"
Vina.
"So, Mama has to approve every decision Dito makes."
"Yes, Pa."
"Once dong, Papa is more and more affectionate with Mama!" Leon hugged his wife.
"So, when did he introduce the girl to us?" ask Vina.
"If it is time Dito will introduce him to us" replied Leon.

That night at the residence of Malik Ikssa...
Nadine and her parents enjoyed dinner together.
"So the morning Dito's man came to the office" Malik said.
"Do you want what they are?" ask Rita.
"Mama wants to know 'right about the Dito family, actually," Malik replied.
Nadine just heard it.
"Yes, Pa," said Rita.
"Dito is not from a careless family, he's a potential heir to the VDL Group. Companies engaged in the field of property and rides games."
"Really, Pa?" Rita looked in disbelief.
"Yes, Ma."
"If Nadine wants to marry him, Mama agrees" said Rita.
"The turn already knows it's just approved," Nadine said.
"Mama's gonna want what's best for you, son!" Rita said softly.
