Chapter 7 - Dito Arrives in Darwin

Dito came to Darwin's office, and as soon as he got to the man's office he pulled his collar, "You're a real jerk!" mean it.

Darwin laughed mockingly.

"Why did you change our plans?"

"Because I can't wait to get that money and enjoy it!"

"Because of the money you told me to get close to Nadine and do something dirty like that yesterday!"

"Didn't you like it? This is a great opportunity for you!"

"I really like Nadine, but I don't drop her like this!" Dito let go of his grip.

"Just enjoy what's already there, Pradito Mahesa. You got that money too, right. It's better to keep your mouth shut and not let Nadine know about your rot as well!" Darwin said with a smile.

"All right, I'll shut up. And be a hero to him, but remember not to beg him!"

"Hey, what am I begging him for? I never loved him!"

Dito laughed cynically, "You're releasing diamonds for silver."

"What do you mean?"

"You think I don't know who the woman who was your dark lover was?"

Darwin's face paled.

"You both deserve to be lovers because you're both crafty!"

Darwin fell silent.

"We both have secrets, if one is exposed. I'll make sure your position won't be safe either!" Dito smiled grinning.

Dito patted Darwin's left shoulder twice quietly. "I congratulate you and thank you for giving Nadine to me."

Dito, who also felt guilty for what Nadine had experienced, went to see the woman at her home.

The plan to get Nadine and Darwin to separate was not in agreement at the beginning. Dito thought that if Darwin wanted to separate from his lover because he did not like it, there was another reason that was compensation for the failure of marriage.

Dito wants Nadine to fall in love with him first, only then Darwin accuses him of cheating. However, in reality the man changed the tactics they planned unilaterally and quickly.

Dito ventured into the residence of Malik Ikssa.

Now he stood at the door and knocked on the big house. A middle-aged female servant greeted him, "See who, Mister?"

"Miss Nadine."

"Wait a minute, I'll call!" said the woman then passed.

At the beginning of the entrance to the gate, Dito was also examined but because they knew him was a friend of Nadine so please him.

Soon, the maid approached her, "Master, please come in!"

"Thank you!" Dito followed the steps of the servant woman.

Dito climbed a ladder to the balcony.

Nadine stood staring at the view from the top floor of her house.

After delivering Dito, the female servant also said goodbye.

Nadine turned her body and threw a smile.

Dito looked surprised by the change in attitude Nadine showed, yesterday looked moody and sad.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"I'm sorry!"

Nadine laughed cynically.

"Nadine, I'm serious!"

"It's all over, don't extend it any more. He has also gotten what both of our parents made."

"Can I still be friends with you?"

"Yes, certainly. I'm not in a relationship with anyone else."

Dito smile.

"Have you met my parents?"

"No."

"If you meet them, rest assured they will be expelled!"

"Yes, because of me, you and Darwin must separate."

In the afternoon, Nadine and Dito spend time together by walking to the mall. He does not care about the response of others about him who cheated.

He and Darwin aren't married, anything can happen. He will also say that the annulment of his engagement has also ended peacefully.

Dito invites Nadine to play in the game rides that are in the mall. The woman seemed so happy, because during her time with Darwin she had never been this happy.

Darwin always refused if invited to just walk for various reasons.

"Make you!" Dito gives a fairly large teddy bear the gift of a game to Nadine.

"Thank you, just buy it easy. But, why would you bother to get it?"

"It takes a struggle not to be easily destroyed, just as I want to conquer your heart!"

"Your imagination is not good for me!"

"Do you still want Darwin?"

"It's not that easy to forget the pain, but life still has to go on and no need to remember the past."

"I'm happy if you get up so soon" said Dito.

"It looks like it, but no one else knows it in the heart. Enough about the feelings, I want to have fun. Now, let's eat!"

They ended up choosing a fried chicken restaurant ready to eat, because Nadine had not eaten at the place for a long time.

"When was the last time you ate something like this?" ask Dito.

"Maybe five or six years ago with Mitha."

"Mitha's your best friend?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"I rarely see you with him" said Dito.

"Since I decided to accept an arranged marriage with Darwin, my relationship is not as usual. Although he took a little time to accompany me but he gave more reasons to stay away from me."

"Maybe he doesn't like you with Darwin."

Nadine gave a small smile, "Mitha was always supportive of whatever I wanted. So there's no way he doesn't like my relationship with Darwin."

"Now that you've decided not to continue the engagement, why has he never had time for you?" tanya Dito probed.

"Where do you know he doesn't have time?"

Dito seems to have mispronounced, quickly answering to make Nadine unsuspecting. "You spend more time with me."

"Oh that, he happened to be starting a new business in the city of C. Until now I haven't had time to visit his cake shop there."

"What if I accompany you there?" Dito offered himself.

"Are you serious?"

"For sure, but you don't tell Mitha that you're going there!" her door.

"All right!" Nadine smiled happily.

Dito drove Nadine home, the man just dropped her off at the fence. No more stopping because it's late.

Nadine enters the house whose lights are still on.

"Who are you going with?"

A baritone voice rang out from behind Nadine's body. He immediately looked over and smiled, as if nothing had happened.

"What we saw that morning turned out to be true, you do have a special relationship with him!" Rita.

"It's up to Mama to accuse me of what I look like" said Nadine.

"Ma, don't keep blaming Nadine. Let's just say they are not a match," said Isan.

"What is this, anyway? Your daughter was caught red-handed with a man who wasn't her husband in a hotel room. Now that she had instead shown the world their closeness," Rita let out her disappointment.

"Ma, Dito and I didn't do anything. If Papa and Mama don't believe, just wait a month or two. Whether I'm pregnant or not!" Nadine.

"So, you want to humiliate us with your pregnancy!" accuse Rita.

"It's not so, Ma. I just want Mama not to constantly point the finger at Dito" Nadine said.

"You've always stood up for him, what a great thing he is. We don't know who her parents and extended family are" Rita said.

"I don't know who his parents are, but I'm sure that Dito is sincere" Nadine said.

"Do you love her, son?" ask Malik.

Nadine took a breath and then she exhaled.

"Do you love her, Nadine?" ask Rita in a high tone.

"Don't yell, Ma. Remember your health condition" Malik said quietly beside his wife.

"Yes, I love him. Ever since Darwin, I've never had any attention. He was always busy with his work, whereas Dito was the other way around."

"All men will do the same to get the woman they are looking for, Mama does not want you to be fooled by her kindness," said Rita.

"But I believe him, Ma."

"What your mother said is right, Nadine. Be careful, you and Dito just got acquainted. We don't know where he came from yet" Malik said to his wife.

"Yes, I'll be careful and find out who he really is. Mama and Papa need not worry, because Dito was also introduced by Darwin."
