Chapter 3 - The Night of Nadine and Darwin's Engagement

(Flashback)

A 26-year-old woman got out of her luxury car. Wearing a red evening party dress and her neck coiled a diamond necklace for hundreds of millions.

Walk gracefully and throw a smile at every invited guest at the event.

Nadine Malika, the second daughter of the number 2 conglomerate family in town A. Born to wealthy parents, Nadine never lacked. Whatever he asks is always given. But not the heart of a man who has made her fall in love.

"Oh yes, dear. Dito here he's actually a vice president of the property company in city B" explained Darwin.

"really?" nadine asked looking at the man who had the dimples.

"Darling, I deliberately invited you to meet. There's something I want to say too" Darwin said.

"Say," said Nadine.

"Next week I have to go to Australia for a few weeks, there's work. You're okay 'm staying."

"No, Baby. If it's about your job, I don't mind it. Just so you always call me!"

Nadine watched Dito's back slowly disappear. He then said to his girlfriend, "Baby, it looks like your friend is a playboy!"

"But why am I so afraid of him?"

"Baby, what time is your departure tomorrow?"

"Can I take you to the airport?"

Nadine took a breath.
