Chapter 4 - Darwin To Abroad

(Flashback)

On the day of Darwin's departure to Australia, Nadine who was saddened by her lover left and contacted Mitha.

"Hello, Din!"

"Where are you?"

"I'm out of town, Din."

"Out of town? Whose place?" ask Nadine.

"His aunt asked to be accompanied to his brother's house, I happen to know the address he was looking for."

"Oh, so."

"Din, you seem sad again?"

"Yes, I'm sad again. Darwin went to Australia for a long time. I'm really lonely."

"Don't you say that Darwin left on office?"

"Yes, but I can't get away from him."

"Oh my goodness, Nadine. You're not married yet but it's too much like this!"

"I love Darwin very much, Mitha."

"Yes, I know. But there's no need to overdo it like that!"

"When do you come home? I'm really lonely."

"Later I'll tell you. Nadine, it's been 'yes. I have to go now, see you!" Mitha hung up.

Nadine took a breath and exhaled, and she continued her office work.

His afternoon...

Nadine who is being devoted to office work and her lover is also leaving. I decided to enjoy a cup of coffee in a cafe all by myself.

Nadine ordered a cup of milk coffee, and then sipped her drink.

An hour ago, he and Darwin were able to communicate by phone call. But it did not make him erase his sadness.

A man she had not expected to appear before her threw her smile.

"Why are you here?" ask Nadine ketus.

"I'm here for coffee, we just happen to meet" Dito replied with a smile.

Nadine noticed Dito's face was actually quite handsome even more than Darwin.

"Why look at me? Don't tell me you like me!" Dito said proud.

Nadine threw away her face, "It's so much confidence!" resounding.

Dito chuckled at the expression on the woman's face before him.

"Can't you move the table? I don't want to be disturbed."

"I want to be here with you!" Dito returned to display his smile.

"No need" Nadine refused.

"Hi, pretty lady. Don't refuse me, you should be lucky I approached you."

"I've got a fiancee and that guy's your best friend, you shouldn't tease me."

"Beautiful, you're just fiancees. Not officially a husband and wife" said Dito.

"But we're getting married next year!"

"It's still a long time, you better be with me!"

Nadine, who was really uncomfortable, got up from her seat and left.

Dito who saw him smiled.

In the car Nadine called her lover, she complained all about Dito's treatment to him.

Instead of being angry, Darwin laughed. He said it was like his friend's attitude.

An upset Nadine turns off her phone and heads to a park.

Yes, he and Darwin often visited the place. Before being with his girlfriend, Nadine was often there.

Nadine sat down and looked at the people who went back and forth. He opened a bottle of water but it was very difficult.

A hand pulled the bottle, leaving Nadine flabbergasted.

Dito had sat down next to Nadine and unscrewed the bottle, "Drink!"

"You come here often?" ask Dito.

Nadine did not answer.

"I'm sure you've been here a lot, Darwin's always telling me."

"It looks like you and Darwin are so familiar!"

"Surely, he always told me about you. That's why I wonder what kind of woman stole his heart," Dito again showed his sweet face.

"Now that you know what I am, go! I don't want to be disturbed."

"I approached you just to protect you" Dito said softly

"I'm not a child to be protected!" the upset.

"Yes, I know. I just want to keep Darwin's trust" explained Dito.

"Do you have no job?" ask Nadine.

"I have a job."

"Then why do you always bother me?"

"Because I'm happy to see your angry, upset and tired face."

"Crazy!" Nadine moved from her seat.

"Where are you going?" ask Dito.

"Back home!" he replied, and he hurried away.

The next day, Nadine who was checking her employee's employment report suddenly rang her phone.

Nadine picked up and answered him, "Hello!"

"Hello, Miss. Below is a man looking for you!"

"What's his name?"

"Mr Dito."

"Essir him!"

"But, Miss..."

"I said drive him out!"

"All right, Miss."

The receptionist told Dito that Nadine did not want to meet.

"I'm her fiance's best friend, please tell her that!"

"I want to explain, Sir. But, Miss Nadine still wants you to go," explained the female employee.

"All right, I'm going. If I may know, Miss Nadine is out of the office at what time?"

"I don't know, Sir."

Disappointed Dito finally leaves Nadine's office.

In the afternoon, the unyielding Dito waited for Nadine at the door of the office.

As soon as the woman came out she rushed to him. "Hi!"

"You!" Nadine flabbergasted.

"How are you?"

Nadine rolled her eyes, she looked annoyed with the man in front of her. "Are you not tired of following me?"

"No."

"Go, I'm so tired today!" Nadine continued to walk.

"Wait!" Dito walked quickly to Nadine. "This is my card, if you need anything, you can call me!" continued.

Nadine grabbed it, "Alright!"

Dito pulled the tip of his lips.

Nadine got into her car and sped into her house.

Dito followed the woman to his house, he saw Nadine's residence was so magnificent and luxurious. "Wow, she really is the daughter of a conglomerate. What a foolish man who wasted it!" muttered.

Dito turned the car back on and then passed.
