Chapter 8. Second Meeting

"You?"

Kenanga was silent in her place as was Alfin who stared in shock at Kenanga. They met in the wrong situation three years ago. And they meet again. By coincidence. Three years later.

"You okay?" tanya Kenanga shifted her mind.

Alfin also nodded. "Oh, yes I'm fine." he stammered.

"It doesn't seem" said Kenanga staring at the wound on the side of Alfin's head. "We're going to the hospital." The breakup.

"Huh? Not necessary. It's not that bad either." refused Alfin a slight smile.

But Kenanga didn't answer. He kept watching Alfin's wound. After deciding something, he looked at Alfin.

"We're going to the hospital" he said again.

Alfin was about to shake his head, "No-"

"Don't argue." cut Kenanga.

Alfin was speechless hearing Kenanga's firm tone.

"You can walk, right?" ask Kenanga.

Alfin nodded. He stood up quickly.

"There's a hospital not far from here. I'll just take you there."

"Actually red medicine is enough."

"There's no cure. That's why I'm taking him to the hospital directly."

"I exist. My house-"

"If you refute once more, I will direct your wound." cut Kenanga, now with a threatening tone.

"Eh?" Alfin couldn't believe what he heard.

"I just want to be responsible. Is that hard for you?"

Alfin remained silent. The memories of 3 years ago suddenly flashed through his mind.

"You also said there's no need to take responsibility" Alfin murmured.

"What did you say?" yangya did not listen too much to what Alfin had just said.

Alfin shook his head while smiling faintly. "Come on. I accept your responsibility."

Kenanga takes Alfin to the RSAM which is close to the headquarters. In the hospital, as usual, it was crowded. They went to the reception to sign up.

"Can anyone help?"

"Wound treatment for-" Kenanga paused her speech. He turned to Alfin, "What's your name?" tanyakanya.

"Alfin Aden-" But as yet Alfin replied, Kenanga cut him back.

"Alfin." she said staring at the nurse again . Alfin smiled faintly looking at her.

"Please go to ugd. It just so happens that ugd isn't too crowded."

Kenanga. After that they headed to the ER as the nurse suggested. After arriving, Alfin immediately sat on the cage and was being treated by a nurse.

"The wound is not very deep. Just bruises. No need for antibiotic prescriptions. Simply smeared with ointment alone." said the nurse.

"Done." the nurse put the equipment back.

"Thank you, sus." said Alfin.

"Either. Actually mas do not need to come because the wound is not too severe. But it seems like my boyfriend is very worried." said the nurse with a smile.

Alfin was silent. He glanced at Kenanga who was focused on her phone. Then I looked back at the nurse.

"I'm not his girlfriend." she said.

The nurse looked surprised. The look on his face was also regretful for misrepresenting.

On the other hand, Kenanga kept her phone in her pocket after that staring at the wound that was already on the bandage on Alfin's forehead.

"It's over, right?" tanyakanya.

"It is." replied Alfin.

Kenanga. They thanked him and walked out of the ER room. But Kenanga and Alfin still had to redeem the ointment for Alfin so they waited in front of the medicine locker first.

They are silent to each other. As Alfin glanced to his side, Kenanga focused on looking ahead, it was clear that the woman had no intention of opening the conversation. And Alfin instantly became even more awkward. Especially in this crowded place, Alfin was many times more awkward.

"Alfin Adendra." call the pharmacist.

Kenanga and Alfin both stood up. They glanced at each other.

"Let me." said Kenanga. Alfin nodded and sat back down.

Kenanga walked towards the medicine locker. He received the ointment along with the recipe. Then he went back to Alfin.

"Wear it every morning and night." explained Kenanga as she handed the medicine bag containing the ointment to Alfin.

"Thank you." said Alfin stiffly.

"My job is over. You can go home by yourself, right? Excuse me." said Kenanga suddenly.

"Eh wait." stop Alfin make Kenanga turn back to look at him.

Kenanga just stared at him flatly. Alfin was stared at so just scratching his nape.

"Thank you for your help. And please tell your friend, I'm fine."

Kenanga. He left without a word. But just a few steps, he turned back to make Alfin who was originally about to leave undo his intentions.

"I also thank you for answering I'm not your boyfriend."

Alfin surprised.

"You hear that?" ask Alfin. That's because Alfin thought Kenanga didn't hear it because at that time Kenanga looked very focused on her phone. Especially when it was quite crowded.

"The range of audio frequencies that the human ear receives is 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. And we're only five meters away. Even though it was done whispering, I can still hear it." replied Kenanga flatly.

Alfin was silent at Kenanga's words. After there was nothing more to say, Kenanga turned around and walked away.

Alfin remained silent. He was surprised to realize how the personality of the woman he had met in a mistake three years ago was.

Now Kenanga is pinning Panji's head.

Panji sighed in relief hearing it.

Panji nodded steadily, "Ready. I also apologize for causing this problem" he said regretfully.

"I'm sorry."

Smiling pennant sumringah. "Thank you lieutenant!" fun.

Kenanga snorted despite not being able to hold back the twitch on her lips. "Based on the boy." he muttered. After that he patted Panji on the shoulder. "Let's go in." take her.

Alfin entered Satya's room. He sat in front of Satya. While Satya who was confused by the arrival of Alfin is now shocked when in Alfin's forehead there is a bandage.

"Just stayed for five hours, your forehead has been injured?!" exclamation Satya.

Alfin touched his wound area, "Ah this. Just a small misunderstanding." he replied.

"What do you mean?" satya asked confused.

"I was working out and there was a snatcher who stole a bag, so I went after him. But when chased, my head suddenly hit by sharp and hard shoes." explained Alfin.

Satya was silent for a while after that laughing loudly. Alfin who saw it became arrogant.

"Is that funny? See your friend in funny pain?" syndicate Alfin.

"It's not so." Satya tried to hold back her laughter. "If you get hit by those shoes, it must be because you're suspected of being the culprit. I mean, that guy doesn't know or pretends to be blind? How can someone as handsome as you be a copet?" satya Laughter.

Satya still continued to laugh making Alfin eventually unable to bear it.

"Beautiful and young. But I think he's older than me." said Alfin a little unconvinced.

"Tell me more details." tell Satya enthusiastically.

"He's tall, slim, his hair is short. Her skin is a bit brownish. Her face was natural without any strange makeup. And there's a mole on his left cheek." Alfin said.

Satya fell silent. It felt like he had heard of a woman with such traits. Before long, he snapped his finger.

"Who?" ask Alfin.

"Lieutenant Kenanga Anggia Selvi. One of the most beautiful TNI soldiers ever." said Satya sure.
