Chapter 22. My Heart is Warming

Alfin laid Kenanga on her bed. Although still surprised by the sudden arrival of Kenanga coupled with the state of the woman who was drunk badly. But Alfin thought positively, Kenanga can't get drunk just for fun. That woman must be on a mission.

Alfin placed Kenanga's shoes next to the bed. After that brought another blanket to cover Kenanga's almost naked body according to him. Afterwards, Alfin went to the living room. He decided to sleep there tonight.

Alfin laid down his body that was still tired from having just returned to work an hour ago. He groaned as his back clung to the sofa.

Alfin immediately woke up with a breath of excitement. The cold sweat had already drenched his entire face again.

Alfin rubbed his face in frustration. Again he had a bad dream. And the dream was definitely not part of his memories. Because Syafira couldn't have killed herself and Alfin wasn't there at the time. Obviously, these are just sleeping flowers.

Alfin hurriedly got up, he ran towards his room.

Alfin hurried to the bathroom. He filled the water into the basin after which wet the towel. When he finished, he immediately returned to the room.

Alfin placed the wet towel on Kenanga's forehead. Kenanga moved uncomfortably but after that she fell asleep quietly again.

Alfin ended up taking care of Kenanga all night. He was awake many times to replace the compressed water. Unaware, Alfin falls asleep next to Kenanga's bed.

Kenanga opened both of her eyelids. He winked softly when a different scene was seen. Kenanga immediately sat in bed. He was surprised, this was not his room.

"Good morning." greet someone from outside the room. Kenanga rounded her eyes when the one standing up who greeted her was Alfin. The man in casual clothes smiled.

"How am I here?" ask Kenanga slowly. She was embarrassed and confused.

"Sister suddenly banged on my door and it turned out that my sister was drunk. I don't know what number is sister's unit, so..." Alfin did not need to explain in more detail.

Kenanga closed her eyes feeling embarrassed. His face was hot when the memory of last night had been remembered.

Alfin smiled slightly looking at the rare expression painted on Kenanga's face.

"Check your temperature first. Hopefully it's downhill." said Alfin approaching to the bed.

Alfin handed the thermometer to Kenanga.
