"Alfin, do you like me?"
Suddenly an unexpected question came from Kenanga's lips. So clear and forthright.
"Eh?"
Hearing him, Alfin's eyes shook slowly. He's dead lice don't know to answer
And Kenanga was still staring at the man, continuing to wait for Alfin's reply.
Alfin was still confused. Somehow looking for an outgoing answer to a question from Kenanga.
"I like you, you're a good person." That was the only answer Alfin could give.
Kenanga raised one eyebrow, "You're sure I'm a good person?"
Alfin again flinched.
"I-ti-is not too sure but the hunch I believe it." replied Alfin stammered. Her heart was pinched, damn, she didn't know what her mouth had said.
"What if I'm not as good as you think I am?"
Alfin really wants to lift his legs right now. He wasn't sure he could stand up to Kenanga's frank questions.
"Why not answer?" ask Kenanga.
Alfin sighs. All right, he'll say whatever comes to his mind. Bluntly also one of its properties.
"I don't know why you're asking about you being a good person or not. And my answer is I'm not too sure you're a good person in your own standards. But basically, within my standards you're a good person just.." Alfin paused his words.
"So, you can't be so vicious." Alfin suddenly laughed softly, "Sometimes I shrivel up when you start asking weird" he continued honestly.
"What did I ask of you is that you're such a frightened rat?" tanya Kenanga did not understand why.
"So, for example. Big brother couldn't possibly not know what the big brother's question could be classified on the super question frankly."
Now Kenanga was at a loss for words.
"Have it, just go to sleep" he said immediately severing the conversation.
"Wouldn't continue?"
"No."
"Sadly, I think you still want to chat" said Alfin pretended to be disappointed when in fact he was teasing Kenanga.
Kenanga did not answer, she kicked Alfin's waist until Alfin fell out of bed.
Brucks
Alfin groaned painfully. He held his right waist which Kenanga kicked.
"Sister!" Alfin's tone rose by half an octave.
Kenanga folded her hands and looked at Alfin defiantly, "Why? Don't think I'm sick, I can't kick you."
Alfin exhaled his coarse breath, he could not reply to it now. But just look later. Alfin's vengeful side seemed to appear.
"There sleep, boys don't stay up late at night." said Kenanga half mockingly.
"Who do you mean boy? I'm a grown man!" firmly Alfin.
Kenanga just turned her face away no matter what.
Alfin stood up, he sat down on the sofa while still staring at Kenanga.
Kenanga just held back her smile. The woman in the patient's clothes immediately laid her body and closed her eyes. Her body sideways faced the sofa where Alfin was sitting.
"Don't keep looking at me, your eyeballs are almost out" Kenanga said, keeping her eyes closed.
"Yes, later my eyes come to the eyes of my brother." Alfin replied.
In the final response, Kenanga turned her body and turned her back to Alfin. He has no intention of answering.
Alfin again gave a rough sigh. Alfin's days will be heavy next. Because it looks like it will be difficult to stay one roof with iceberg women like Kenanga.

The next morning Kenanga's nursing room became very crowded. That's because none other than Alan's family came to see him. There's mom, dad, Kansha, Alan and their little son, Alka.
"How are you doing? The doctor said anything?" ask Alena. His face continued to show concern.
"The doctor said I just need a week's rest in the hospital, right, Fin?" Kenanga looked at Alfin who was playing with Alka.
"Ah, Alfin is your doctor in charge?" ask Alena.
"No, bun." answered Kenanga.
"Who said one week's rest?"
"Alfinen. He said it like that."
"Fin, seriously just a one-week break?" ask Mommy.
Alfin nodded his head.
"Yes already. Rest well to recover quickly." said mother. Kenanga.
Kansha then approached the bed, she smiled.
"Did Alfin keep looking after you?"tanyakanya.
"Not really. Sometimes he comes out because there's business." Kenanga replies understand.
Kansha nodded her head.
"He must be responsible to you. If she's missing her job, cut her sister off." advises Kansha.
Alfin immediately glared, "Kansha, what do you mean?"
"Eh, why call Kansha? Remember, you're my sister-in-law." asserted Kansha.
Alfin clucked, "You've been like Nana for a long time, it's hard to manage."
"Nana? Ah, you brought Nana's name here because you realized you haven't forgotten her?" accuse Kansha. Alan cleared his throat, he glanced at Kenanga whose look remained the same.
"Who's Nana?" sela Kenanga's.
Everyone looked at Kenanga, and Alfin already seemed to feel guilty. He was also afraid of Kenanga thinking things out.
"Nana's my best friend. She and Alfin were close enough that people could misunderstand because of their closeness." Kansha replied casually.
Kenanga nodded in understanding, "Ex-boyfriend?"
Alfin immediately shook his head, "Only a crazy person whose age is older and does not suit me.
"You seem to be panicking." said Kenanga.
"Ti-no." replied Alfin quickly.
"Already Kenanga, free to ask with Alfin. They are like dogs and cats. Nobody wants to give up. Every time we meet, it's like there's a war." sidelines Kansha.
"I'm curious about Nana." responded Kenanga.
"Just calm down, Nana will go home after taking care of everything. Fin, get Kenanga and Nana together."
"What?" alfin was shocked.
Doesn't that mean a third war? Nana will definitely talk later.

After a few days, Kenanga's condition has improved. Even after being treated for one week, she was declared cured. Be Kenanga can go home.
But there's one problem here. It's about Kenanga's place of residence. Meilani had thought carefully that Kenanga would sleep in their house for a while.
I don't care, but the only problem is Alfin. Because of his status as a husband, he is obliged to take care of Kenanga and be by his side wherever she goes.
At nightfall, Kenanga and Alfin sleep side by side in the same bed. It's all because of Meilani. Meilani forced them to sleep in the room. Yes, the reason is clear.
The room was silent for a while until Kenanga suddenly sat down.
"It doesn't feel comfortable if you sleep on the couch while I'm in bed."
Alfin who had fallen asleep immediately opened his eyes.
"It's okay. This is your room and brother is still sick." Alfin replied.
Kenanga shook her head, "Sleep here."
Alfin was surprised to hear it, but he immediately refused, "No need, brother. The sofa is enough for me."
"You come here or I go there?"
Alfin remained silent. They can't sleep on the couch. "If that's what I'm going to do."
Alfin immediately got up and approached the bed. He sat on the side of the bed awkwardly.
"Don't carry the load. The reason we slept together was because based on the habits of Aunt Meilani, she always went into the room without permission and without a sound. Just in case, bother if you have to explain why we sleep apart." explains Kenanga.
"Tante Meilani has that habit?" alfina asked surprised.
Kenanga nodded her head, "His curiosity is very high."
Alfin nodded.
"Sleep."
Alfin and Kenanga immediately lay down. They sleep on each other's backs.
"When did you live here?" chirps Alfin.
"Graduated High School but only a few months after that I went to school abroad."
"What majors did you take at the time?"
"Business management."
Alfin was quite surprised, "Why?"
"Because it's just business, the only way I can talk and argue with my dad. But it's all useless."
Alfin heard a tone of sadness tucked in Kenanga's discordant tone.
"I think my sister majored in law or civil science or anything related to my sister's job" Alfin said.
"Soldiers were never on the list of jobs I wanted. I didn't think I was going to be a soldier."
"Then why did you finally choose an army?"
"For revenge." Kenanga's revenge.
Alfin's forehead frowned deeply, "Revenge? To whom?"
"My father."
"Huh?"
"I took the same job as my mom. But I won't be like him. I will be much stronger so that my papa does not expect my death on the battlefield."
"There is a father who expects such a thing." said Alfin.
"analytics only. This is my favorite job right now. When I put on the uniform I feel a lot more confident."
Alfin nodded his head understandingly
"You yourself, why be a doctor?" ask Kenanga for change.
"Why yes..maybe because my father and brother have similar jobs? So I want to be different."
"I remember that they were both pilots."
Alfin nodded, "Since long ago, I have been interested in the science of aviation. He likes it when my dad wears his pilot uniform. At first he was not allowed to. But that's the goal. We don't have the right to force it, do we?"
"Then did you become a doctor out of your will?"
"Yes. In contrast to Mas Alan who preferred physics, I really liked biology. If I don't become a doctor, I want to be a biology professor. "
"Oh yeah, is it true that your brother and his wife were victims of a plane crash?"
"really. "
"That's impossible."
Alfin nodded, "Right, if according to logic, it's impossible. They were even stranded for a month before being discovered and not to mention with their wounds. They should have died on the island even though they survived the plane."
"But it's all fate, as long as God has willed, no one can resist it."
Kenanga agreed.
"Sleep." said Kenanga.
Alfin and Kenanga ended their conversation and began to close their eyes. Drowning in peace despite sleeping on each other's backs.
***
Kenanga woke up from her sleep. He glanced at the clock on the nightstand, at one in the morning. Kenanga then turned to her side, the side Alfin was sleeping on was empty. Where's Alfin?
Kenanga finally decided to wake up. He came out of the room and went down to the first floor. And as soon as he arrived, he immediately found a lit kitchen lamp. It must be Alfin.
Kenanga came to the kitchen and there was Alfin there. Cooking something on the pot. Kenanga then glanced at the dining table, there was a laptop on and some documents.
"You up late?" chirps Kenanga.
Alfin who had not noticed the presence of Kenanga langsunh gasped. She's looking.
"Sir Anggi? Why awake?" tanyakanya.
"Well." answered Kenanga.
Alfin wordlessly took out a glass and filled it with water after which gave it to Kenanga.
"Thank you." said Kenanga immediately sipped water up the toilet.
"You're cooking noodles?" the question when he saw there was instant noodle packaging next to the stove.
Alfin nodded, "Yes. I was hungry and purposely cooked the noodles." replied Alfin as he diverted the noodles from the pot into the bowl.
"Wouldn't you?" bargained for.
I kept quiet for a moment, then nodded. It's okay to eat noodles in the middle of the morning blind.
"Make one but don't be too spicy."
"okay."
In accordance with Kenanga's request, Alfin immediately cooked a new noodle. It only takes three minutes less and noodles for Kenanga to be served. Alfin brought two bowls to the dining table.
"This is my promise." said Alfin put a bowl of noodles in front of Kenanga.
The Flashback
"Sister must get well soon so that I can keep my promise."
"What promise?" one eyebrow raised.
"Mie." Alfin said briefly.
"Mie?" Kenanga frowned her forehead confused.
Alfin nodded, "I promise that I'll cook brother noodles after the task is over."
Flashback Off
Kenanga. That's what Alfin meant. He stared at Alfin's promise fulfillment noodles. His heart somehow warmed because of the attention of the man.
