Chapters 17. Apologies

Kenanga went home to her aunt and her mom. But just as he was about to climb into his room, Meilani was already standing looking at him from the second floor. His gaze was pretty creepy.

Meilani moved both of her fingers telling Kenanga to go up to him. Kenanga just sighed softly. He climbed the stairs to the second floor.

After being in front of Meilani, Kenanga remained silent. Until Meilani opens the conversation.

“Tante heard. He said you were saved by another man while on a mission. Who?” tanyakanya. His flat-setting sharpener had now become interested.

“No idea.” Answer Kenanga briefly.

“Where might you not know? Tell me, who is he? Why would he save you?” ask Meilani again.

Kenanga clucked bitterly, “Supposedly the aunt asked that my condition instead of even curious to know who she is.”

“You'll be fine. But look at that guy. He's hurt, right?” meilani Tukas.

“Kenanga enter the room first.” saying Kenanga was about to leave but Meilani direct motion quickly pull behind Kenanga clothes.

“Wait first.” firmly Meilani confronts Kenanga back to look at her. Kenanga's face is now clouded.

“Just say aunt already knows who.” he said. “But aunt heard you were even angry with her until slapped again. You're sane no?!” meilani exclaimed in annoyance.

“Where does aunt know?” ask Kenanga.

After a shower and a little lunch, Kenanga was dragged back to the flower shop.

When Meilani coolly chose flowers enthusiastically, then turned with Kenanga who was not interested at all. He chose not to go inside and sat in the front seat of the store.

Before long, Meilani finished picking the flowers. He brought it to Kenanga who was sitting quietly outside the shop.

"Nih." said Meilani handed a bouquet of white tulips to Kenanga.

"Why did aunty choose flowers for condolences?" chirps Kenanga.

"Happy? This flower apologies know!" reply Meilani sebal.

"really?" sahut Kenanga. He played his phone back.

Meilani. He took Kenanga's phone. Kenanga looked at her tantamount coldly.

"Return it back" he said flatly.

Kenanga arrived at Alfin's ward but she did not go straight in but just stood still. Kenanga repeatedly shook her head.

"Thank you, doc. Sorry, the first impression I gave instead of being a patient" said Alfin was not tasty.

"So that's why you brought a bouquet of flowers?" alfin asked glanced at the flower that Kenanga had hidden.

And the conversation was interrupted. Kenanga just sat quietly in the chair while Alfin also stayed in his bed. They don't know what to talk about in this situation.

Alfin and Kenanga turned to the door and Kenanga opened her eyes when Meilani came. The aunt smiled widely and entered the room.

"I'm sorry to bother you, Doctor Alfin?" Alfin nodded despite being confused, "Yet, you've given me the flowers?" tanyakanya.

"Later on." answered Kenanga quietly.

"Why should I go later? Just give it to him now. Hurry, before it withers like your apology." Meilani said.

Kenanga sighed slowly. He handed the flower to Alfin.

"Satya, take me to buy a yuk drink." he asked.

Kenanga also sat down.

"Open your mouth." he said flatly.

Alfin was surprised, he could not believe that a real Kenanga would bribe him.

Alfin, who was still in a state of shock, opened his mouth. Kenanga started feeding her food.

"Uhuk, hot." cried Alfin choked with heat.

To his surprise, he gave Alfin some water.

Kenanga scooped back her rice but now she blew it first. Alfin froze looking at Kenanga's actions.

"I think it's good" he said, feeding his food into Alfin's mouth.

"Well right?" ask Kenanga.

And after that Kenanga continued to feed Alfin. They're not involved in any conversation. The cool Kenanga blew the food and then fed it to Alfin. And Alfin who could only open his mouth without being able to open his voice. They are silent to each other.

No taste, Alfin's food is up. Kenanga put the empty tray on the nightstand. Alfin drank.

"Medicine." Kenanga handed him two drugs.

Alfin swallowed the medicine after which Kenanga took the empty glass and placed it next to the tray.

And after that, they fell silent to each other. Don't know how to. Meilani and Satya also have not been seen the trunk of his nose.

"Thank you for helping me eat. But why would you do it?"

Kenanga looked at Alfin's outstretched hand, still unable to believe what he was going through at the moment.

"My hands are sore" said Alfin grimacing. He used his injured hand.

Kenanga sighed softly, "Should just use her left hand." she said.

Kenanga froze and inexplicably, seeing Alfin's smile, Kenanga's heart warmed.

"Well, look they've made up" said Meilani proudly. He and Satya were watching them from behind the door. Meilani lied about buying drinks.

"Mother is indeed amazing." praised Satya in amazement.

"Yes dong, Meilani, his wife Danjen Akra are so loh." Meilani replied arrogantly. Satya just smiled happily.

"High five!"

Meilani and Satya are happy. They are happy to see Kenanga and Alfin have made up especially Meilani who is happy with Kenanga's change. His niece who he had considered as his biological daughter was willing to apologize and admit her mistake.
