...I put a taste in asa. At night in a vacuum. In the end, it was time to say hello about the taste I had. A feeling that I call it a wound....

🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸

One by one, everyone left the cafe. Except for a man who was sitting in a chair that was deliberately made by the owner of the cafe there. At night, the streets are already seen piles of snow and falling right on the glass cafe. Only 3 seconds later the snow will fall because of the strong wind outside.

The two cafe waiters meant that Ele was brewing inside. They've hung a close sign on the glass right in front of the door.

"Jane, I wonder who the guy sitting there is. Is that old man not cold?" Ask Ele.

"He's a loyal customer,"

"Faithful customers? Why did he never sit inside?"

"The boss did forbid him to sit inside, except in the outside seat."

"Why is that? Isn't he a loyal customer?"

Jane took a long breath. "The guy's a drunk, Ele. He can do anything if he is drunk. The chair can be upside down and worse, he can go up on the table while taking off his clothes."

"Is that why the boss asked us to keep an eye on him?"

"Hm. The old man could have left without paying."

"Did he have no family?"

“I don't know. But one month ago he tried to kill himself,”

“Heuh? suicide?" Ele could not cover her surprise. “Why?” ask again. His curiosity suddenly loomed.

“Says he's desperate.”

“What's the problem?”

“Once, I guess a small problem.”

Ele gazed outwards, observing the old man. “You know from where if he doesn't have a big problem in his life that makes him want to kill himself?”

“And the money is a lot.” said Jane lightly.

Ele took a breath and chose to sit near the glass directly facing outwards. He could see the old man. Jane sat there. All the tables were empty, except for the table where the old man was sitting. The cold air and the falling snow did not deter the old man's intention to leave.

A man on patrol passed by the road. The light of the street lamp shone brightly and made the brass chain embedded in the collar of the police uniform was covered in gloss.

“Security officers will hold him,” Jane said later.

Ele threw her gaze towards the street. “He better leave this place. Do not let the security guards hold him. They just passed five minutes ago.” said Ele worried.

The old man who was sitting there tapped on his plate and deliberately made a noise. Jane came out and Ele followed. He also approached immediately.

“What do you want, sir?”

The old man looked at Jane. “Sevelas brandy again.”

“Later you get drunk,” said Jane staring lazily. The old man did not blink looking at his interlocutor. Until Ele took the initiative to take the man's order.

Jane immediately pulled Ele's hand. "Where are you going?"

"Take this father's order?"

"You crazy? he'll be sitting there all night, you wanna be with him?” Jane's eyes bulged. “Thirty minutes we'll close. Now I'm sleepy. I don't want to serve the old man."

"Heeekkk ..." Ele held her breath and fell silent.

"This area is not like your hometown. What time, it's still safe. But not here. You want to be bullied by a midnight prankster just for taking care of that old man?"

"But Jane?"

"Okay, this is the last time and we're done with it." Jane said firmly.

He stepped up to get a bottle of brandy and a small plate from the counter inside the cafe before walking up to the old man's desk on the terrace. Then, he poured the contents of the bottle into an empty glass and placed a small plate onto the table.

“You should just end your life,” said Jane annoyed.

The old man pointed at the glass with his finger. “A little more,” said.

"Gosh, I'm going crazy." Jane clucked as she poured the contents of the brandy bottle back into the glass, but this time until the alcoholic liquid spilled and soaked the glass rod and the small saucer table underneath.

“Thank you,” said the man. Jane steps into the cafe and passes through Ele's still body glued there. There was a sense of pity when he saw the old man's face pity. At least the family cares about it. Ele quickly took in her heavy breath. Before Jane was upset, she went in and cleaned the cafe.

Suddenly, Jane's phone rang. Ele again did her job by arranging chairs while cleaning the table.

"Ele," Call Jane from the kitchen. He seemed to be in a hurry and his face looked panicked.

"I am first. I got a call, my mom was rushed to the hospital." Jane puts her phone in the bag and steps closer to Ele.

"Go, what are you waiting for?"

"Sorry Ele, I can't help you."

"It's okay, I can finish it."

"Thank you Ele." Jane said smilingly.

"Be careful, Jane."

"Hm." Jane waved her hand and left Ele alone there.

Ele took a deep breath while staring out. Ele frowned when she saw the old man was no longer there.

Suddenly he stopped his activities and looked left and right, trying to find the man. However, there was no one there, except for Ele herself.

"Heuh, where is he?" His eyes even went down every street corner. There's no one.

"Has that man been picked up by his family?" Inner Ele.

A few seconds later, Ele returned her thoughts. There's still work to be done. There is no time to think about anything else.

An hour after Jane left and left her alone, she began to feel the temperature of the room getting colder.

"It's impossible that the temperature of this room is cold, doesn't this room use heaters?" Ele didn't care, she continued her duties.

In the midst of his confusion, for some reason, he automatically looked at the glass where the old man was sitting. It looks like no one. Ele pensively for a moment. Trying to ignore everything and trying to refocus on completing the task. However, his mind had been stirring everywhere.

"Ah.... I need to focus..." Said Ele quickly cleaning up all the rooms.

After she finished cleaning, Ele picked up her backpack. Turn off the lights and warm the room. Ele went out and locked the door.

The cold outside began to attack. Ele looked up, watching the snow fall free from the sky. Ele swiped her palms together, trying to cause a warm feeling. The coat she wore was not enough to warm her body.

🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸

Ele paused for a moment, both hands he put into the brown Coat he wore. He fell down while looking at both of his feet. A blank, lonely and unkempt look. He took a deep breath until his shoulder was lifted.

Again he could not shake his longing to Alvin. Moreover, he was completely alone here. "I miss everything about you, Alvin." said Ele with a long pull. He looked up and let the snow hit his face.

This love not only made him miss Alvin. But he also misses every moment he has spent together. Unfortunately, all of it has become a memory sheet that existed in the past. Sometimes he thinks, is their separation only temporary? Or could it be that this feeling signifies that they are indeed supposed to be reunited?

"You will live forever in my heart. You're the most special person to me, Alvin. But you are no longer mine. I'm sorry I keep thinking about you."

As he said that, a single tear drop fell on his cheek.

Ele hopes to soon find her happiness, as Alvin once told her first that her happiness is Alvin's happiness too.

"So let me miss you for now. I promise just for today!" Said Ele smiling as she made a finger gesture forming a 'V'.

Ele really looks ridiculous today. He stepped with spirit. But when entering a small alley to his apartment. Suddenly the bag was pulled by someone. Ele was surprised and realized that he was being snatched.

"Mittle.....!" Shouted Ele.

Meanwhile, Arlo is driving his car and leaves Raymond to finish the rest of the work with the investors he just met.

At the meeting, Arlo couldn't concentrate. He kept thinking about the woman of the bitter coffee maker. He took his car to the road. Arlo returns to the hotel and rests. Today was really exhausting.

Suddenly his eyes fell on a woman who was screaming for help. Arlo turns his car around and chases after him. He stopped the car right in front of the man. And succeeding, Arlo steps on the brakes in a hurry. He got out as the thug ran towards his car. The man suddenly stopped.

"Give me that lady's bag!" Said Arlo casually with his arms crossed.

"Who are you, how dare he." said the man hanging his sentence, he approached to beat the man.

But quickly Arlo gave a few blows to make the man fall down, he did not dare to dwell again. Without retaliating, the black man immediately ran over and left the bag.

"It's nothing, it's run away." Arlo smiled as he shook his head.

He took the bag and intended to return it. His eyes squinted towards the girl who was running towards him. Arlo's forehead shriveled as he realized who the woman was. He was still in his position, when the woman stopped right in front of him.

"Taass...tass...." Ele's breath was panted. He bent his body while holding his knee. Ele tried to stabilize her breathing that was rising and falling so quickly.

Arlo smiled, the corner of his lips rising upwards.

"Give me my bag?" Ele straightened her body back up. For a second, Ele's face changed. He could not cover his surprise when he saw who the man standing in front of him was.

"YOU?"
