This morning, the weather was very bright the sun was shining brightly and motorized traffic had graced the streets of the city. Ele and Alvin are getting ready to start visiting the beautiful places in the city.
This city is dubbed as a loyal city, because it has a legendary story and even everyone knows the story. In addition, the city also has a trumpet that creeps between its buildings.
Alvin and Ele continued to walk among the many visitors along the tourist attractions.
βYou brought me here Alvin?" exclaiming Ele jump pleasure while hugging Alvin's hand. "I love this place Alvin. This is the tourist spot I want to visit.β
"I don't think I chose this place wrong."
Ele squinted her eyes, looking at Alvin in full search. "Hm." He bent his lips while looking at Alvin. "Did Amira say this place too?" ask Ele. Yes, only Amira knows. Ele was eager to visit this place.
Alvin smiled hugging Ele's waist. "Hm. Amira said it once. Do you like it?"
Ele smiled haru. "Yes, I like it very much."
Alvin kissed her again. "That's what I expected. Now we're going again."
"OK, handsome sir."
Ele close her body and throw a happy smile at each other. It feels like the world belongs to both of them, others hempas. Ele chuckled to herself, as the people around, smiled as she shook her head looking at them. Ele's red-coloured face looked to the side and saw Alvin so possessive of her. Her chest is flat, like having a heart attack. It was undeniable that Ele was very happy at this moment.
The morning trail has gone, now the afternoon comes to say hello. They walked back, like tireless. While walking on the sidewalk, Alvin puts his fingers into Ele's fingers to provide warmth. This place is known for being cold. Ele smiled again as she looked up and found a clear blue sky with skyscrapers decorating her. Many sidewalks in this city are very shady, not because of the trees but because of the shadow of tall buildings.
The city also holds fantasies for so many people. A lot of young people come in with just a guitar and love singing a few songs there. Authors with no pennies and only vague story ideas, those who come with big dreams and want to make them come true.
Along the way they found a wall-scratches with beautiful poems by an artist. While on a street corner not far from there, they also saw the Apple Store that took them jumping several generations ahead.
βWhy do you like this place Ele? what made you fall in love, so eager to visit here?β alvin asked with his eyes flashing slowly.
Ele thought for a moment. "Falid." she replied.
Forehead Alvin shriveling. "Falid?"
Ele nodded while looking at Alvin's confused face. He smiled and continued his words. "Because this place bears witness to a faithful man waiting for his beloved."
"really? Can you tell me?"
Ele took a short breath, then smiled looking towards Alvin who continued to hold his hand possessively. While walking slowly, Ele began to tell stories. "About a dozen years ago, in this city, lovers who were being combined with love made a pact. The two promised to meet again at the same location at the appointed time. The man kept his promise. But sadly..." Ele suspended her sentence and looked down miserably while looking at her alternating steps.
Alvin turned to the side, looking at Ele who was looking down. "What happened, baby? did that woman break her promise?"
Ele nodded weakly, looked forward and continued her explanation. "The woman never came. Long awaited, the woman worship the man did not come too. But the 47-year-old man remained faithful waiting for him. He was still sitting in the same clothes as the beginning of his arrival to this park, until his clothes looked shabby. His face and physique also seemed to be aging. His loyalty made the man nicknamed 'Hachiko', the name of a dog in Japan whose story is legendary for waiting faithfully for his master at the station even though he was dead."
"Did that man die?"
"Yes, the man died at the age of 60."
"Well, that means the man waited 13 years and the woman never came?"
"Hmm, he died in the long chair in the middle of the garden. We can sit there." Ele said as she continued to walk hand in hand with Alvin.
"It's a wonderful love journey and I just found out about it."
Ele let out a heavy sigh, staring straight ahead with a blank look. "If you were in that position, would you wait for me too Alvin?"
"No, I don't want to wait."
"Huh? don't you wanna wait?"
"Yes. Why do I wait. I'll come to your house and ask for an explanation."
Ele chuckled when she heard that. "You could have."
"Isn't that so, one day for me it's very difficult to get through without you. Especially for 13 years. I'm going crazy, Ele."
Ele simply smiled and did not comment, they just continued down the streets of the city with a happy feeling. Everyone comes from everywhere. There is a level of anonymity that allows anyone to slip easily between the hustle and bustle of the crowd. They spend their time full of happiness and admiration. Because this city, tells a lot of stories. There are a lot of people who put on shows on the streets.
"You're not hungry, Ele?" Alvin looked at the clock on his wrist.
"You're not tired, we're walking and not resting."
"That's right, too" Ele smiled. "How about we sit in the middle of the garden."
"You mean that legendary long chair?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"Okay, we'll sit on that chair until nightfall" said Alvin kissing Ele's temple softly.
As Alvin kisses her in the crowd, Ele's eyes are wide with her heart triggered. Those gray eyes from close range, were able to stiffen him and activate his heart's quick mode. Ele kept looking at him nervously. He looked down again with a red face while stepping towards the long chair in the middle of the city park.
Sure enough, there is a pleasant garden, with smooth grass, sunlight that sometimes disappears and appears. And do not forget the sound of jazz music as a background. They can enjoy the beauty of twilight that tells many stories.
"Wait a minute, I'll buy you a drink." Alvin said he woke up from his seat.
Ele simply nodded with a smile looking at the back of Alvin who ran over left her. Ele watched the traffic of people in fashionable clothes who really spoiled her eyes. Many wear neat work clothes but no less also dressed in preppy style.
Quite far away and Alvin had to queue up as well. Alvin smiled carrying two mugs filled with drinks in his hands.
"ALVIN?" Call someone with his baritone voice.
Alvin turned his back to look at the man who was greeting him.
"You're Alvin. Hey dude, long unseen after the news of your loss."
Alvin looked confusedly, his eyes squinting at the smiling man towards him. "Did he know me?" Inner Alvin speaking.
"How are you doing, Alvin?" asked the man to smile again.
Alvin was silent with a deep forehead frown. He did not answer directly. Alvin just stared at the man from top to bottom expressionlessly.
"Hey dude, since when have you been such a quiet guy like this?" the man chuckled at the end of his sentence. "And how you look? God, you're not like the Alvin I know."
Alvin still remained silent and unmoved in his place. He tried to remember, but it didn't work.
"You're really throwing a fuss at the business world, dude. All the news about you, be it from the mass media, television, say you're dead. I even contacted Arlo to find out the truth. But Arlo didn't comment at the time."
"Well?" Alvin's forehead is wrinkled inside. The name was no stranger to him. His eyes squinted and tried to remember the name.
Seeing no reaction from Alvin, the man frowned. "The dude? Don't you remember me? we're college friends first. You even introduced me to your future wife."
The deg!
Alvin's heart was hit so hard inside his chest cavity. He's getting nervous. The feeling of sweating, trembling, cold heat, and now he was like miserable when he saw the serious expression of the man.
"You even want to get married." Said the man chiming.
Alvin's face grew stifling. "What's? married married married? Whatchu mean?" The sound of even his breath was held in his chest. Clogged in there. Alvin tried to catch his breath that was getting crowded. How could this man say he was getting married. No way!
"Yes. You're getting married to Allura. She is the woman you love so much. You're even too possessive of him." The man half whispered.
Alvin's hands suddenly cold. A blank look stared in one direction. His head suddenly hurt. Alvin again took in his increasingly claustrophobic breath. "Allura?"
Alvin Heeeeeee exhaled as she closed her eyes, trying to calm her feelings. He took a deep breath and swallowed his saliva repeatedly. Alvin's trying to control himself. Alvin's name is so much in this world. Not just his name. He was sure this man was the wrong person.
"Hey dude, are you listening to me?"
"sorry. I have to go." Alvin said so coldly. He walked away from the man.
"Yes....!!!!" The man tried to intercept him. But it did not work, Alvin had gone a long way to leave the place.
"What's wrong with her?" the man looked confused.
"Obviously he's Alvin, why does he look confused?" He said half a murmur.
"And how it looks?" Said the man as he imagined Alvin using a flip-flop.
"God...." The man let out a frustrated breath, he still could not believe what he saw. He knows Alvin. Even from his appearance that is always neat and nice looking reflects his personality.
"But now?" The man rubbed his face violently. Without a second thought, he took a cell phone to contact someone.
