"Okay, let's take a break, an hour later we move on." Said the thick-bodied man ending the seminar for this afternoon.
The other participants came out of the room. Merissa and Allura decided to stay in the room.
Allura took her breath out at once. He scratched his temple. His face looks frustrated. He then raised his face with closed eyes. Again Allura could not concentrate to attend the seminar. This is already day three. Allura leaned her back on the back of the chair while closing her eyes.
Allura indeed deliberately attended this seminar, busying himself to forget his heartbreak. Allura needs time alone, as well as avoiding Arlo who is increasingly aggressively looking for him. Allura was getting scared, Arlo even sent his men to stand guard in every corner of his apartment. In the sense of the word Arlo did it intentionally. This really drives him crazy. He did not activate his phone number. Because Arlo will definitely contact him. Allura only uses mobile phones that are specifically used only for office purposes only.
His life was a complete mess after Alvin disappeared. Allura is not necessarily direction and his days are getting heavier without Alvin. This miss is driving him crazy. He even cried in silence. Allura was even anxious to hear his voice. He really can't get through this. Allura is completely alone here.
"I'm going crazy Alvin. Where did you disappear to?"
Allura was like a desperate woman. He hoped God would kindly restore his Alvin. May there be a way to meet the man she loves.
Merissa can capture the attitude of change from Allura. He propped up his chin and looked towards Allura's eyes which had been breathing deeply since.
"Hey, Lura! From the beginning of the seminar to this second, you were completely out of concentration. You're not the Allura I know. You are usually professional and can complete your tasks well. Just ask, you can't finish your answer. Are you sick?" asked Merissa who had noticed Allura's movements. "Or don't Arlo come threatening you again?"
Allura only lowered his head weakly, his mouth shut without making a sound.
"And look, your body is also thin. You don't eat well and you don't talk much. In fact, just a way to the mall, you prefer to sleep in a hotel. What's wrong with you. You really make me anxious. Does this have anything to do with Arlo?"
Hearing Arlo's name, Allura took a rough breath and threw her sharp gaze towards Merissa. "I told you, don't mention Arlo's name here. I don't like it." he said flatly without expression.
"So you're why, I see from your body language, you're such a desperate woman. There is no passion for life. Didn't the Smiths try to find Alvin. But Alvin's last point anywhere, they can't track him."
Allura shook his head again, he closed his eyes. Feeling pain in his chest.
Once again Merissa clucked in annoyance, she put down her pen harshly. Merissa looked at Allura with a serious look. "I know you Lura, I know you very well. Everything I know about you. From the look on your face I can tell you're keeping a problem. So you can't hide anything from me. So now, tell me everything, you don't have to hide it!" Urge Merissa with sharp eyes.
Allura looked down sad, a feeling of uncertainty. Between longing or choosing to give up. But honestly Allura admitted that he misses a lot.he endured this very painful longing. Two months did not meet, did not see him directly and could not hear his voice. Makes Allura really crazy. Allura was getting less and less willing. Allura is pregnant with Alvin's child. How he should have told the Smith family.
She was afraid and very afraid that the Smiths would only consider her a selfless woman. Allura could imagine what the pain would be like. Losing Alvin alone is as painful as this, let alone not be considered at all. Allura was completely unprepared. He tried to take a deep breath and exhaled a tired breath.
"Allura? Are you listening to me? Hey?" Merissa shook her hands in front of Allura's face who was staring straight at her with a blank look.
Allura looked down sad. His eyes are already glazed. He could not cover everything that was churning inside his chest. Everything's jumbled up. And he really wasn't ready to tell Merissa.
After taking a deep breath, Allura finally said it. "I'm actually pregnant, Merissa." Allura's shoulders started to shake. He kept his eyes closed and closed.
Merissa was still frozen, her brows curling deeply. He looked at Allura with a confused frown. "What do you mean, pregnant? who's pregnant?" merissa asked with wide eyes as she touched Allura's arm to face her. Merissa even shook Allura's body. "My answer, who's pregnant?"
Allura shook her head weakly, He raised his face staring towards Merissa with a glaring look. His eyes were back in tears and clear water was dripping down his cheeks. "Sorry Merissa, I never told you. I'm pregnant and this child is Alvin's son."
Merissa surprised. "What?" He tried to convince his hearing. Who knows, Allura is hallucinating because he misses Alvin.
Allura's shoulders trembled more and more holding back her sobs. "I'm pregnant and now I'm confused what to do. I'm going crazy, Merissa." Allura's cry broke out there.
Merissa's eyes were perfectly rounded. He closed his mouth because he could not cover his surprise. "Wait first! " Merissa raised her hand. "Does that mean you did it before...?" Merissa's sentence is hanging. He couldn't continue it. All he knows is that Alvin was kidnapped before the wedding.
Allura only nodded weakly.
"That's it, three months."
"You're serious, really pregnant?" Merissa again did not believe everything she heard.
Allura again could only nod her head. Her tears slipped back to her cheeks.
"Did the Smiths know you were pregnant?"
Allura shook her head weakly, "They don't know at all."
"Now what are you waiting for. You have to be straightforward with them. Tell me you're carrying Alvin's child."
"But I'm afraid, they're rejecting it." Said Allura in a stern voice.
"How could they refuse? The child you bear is their grandchild."
"I don't know, Merissa. I'm scared!" Allura covered her face with both hands. He could not control his tears. Luckily only the two of them were in the room.
Merissa exhaled a lethargic breath. "Where is Allura I know? Why are you being such a fool? We don't know where Alvin is. Is he alive, we don't know. Now you're thinking about your son's future." Merissa said trying to resuscitate Allura.
"I'm still scared."
"Pull in a deep breath. Just slow. You need to stay calm for your son. When you're ready, tell me everything. They should also know all this and at least they are responsible for your life."
"Are you sure they're accepting this child."
"Yes, definitely! If they don't take it, you report it to the police."
"You're crazy!" allura's voice echoed within the room.
"Yes I'm crazy because of you, even though I know you won't be able to fight them. But wait, don't they like you?"
Allura took a deep breath while bowing her head. "Yes I know. I'm still really confused."
"If they loved Alvin, they would have accepted the boy. And I think the Smith family is like that. They are a respected and respected family. Better try it first. Don't despair like this."
"I'm scared, I'm so scared!" Allura was crying. Her feelings were really upset. Confused, worried and scared.
"Sad..You idiot, don't cry anymore. Is that why, you don't want to eat." Merissa said guessing what was inside Allura's mind.
"No, this is indeed innate" Allura said honestly.
"That's it, I already know you, Allura."
"I'm serious." Allura said in self-defense.
"Yes, now take care of your health. You never cry again. You must stay up for your son."
Allura nodded weakly as he nodded, He gathered with the remaining energy from his body. Breathe in one by one. He was lucky to have a friend like Merissa. His presence could calm him down. After feeling good, they resumed the seminar.
All this time Allura had wasted her time and life. He was too selfish and always thought life was just for fun. Without him realizing that in fact he will not forever feel happiness and sadness will always look for a gap to enter his life. Life is like a tree, that's what you always tell her. Each part has a special meaning that can not be described one by one, but he will give one of them, namely leaves. They will grow, then fall and change again with new ones, it's like people are born, go and there will be new ones. And here, Allura had discovered the true meaning of life.
Now after what happened, what he saw, heard and felt. Allura began to understand about life. That in fact life is a struggle, yes fight to be able to reach the desired point. Whether it be happiness or success, and now he will not let that happiness disappear from his life. Allura will fight for a place in the Smith family. Whatever, whether Alvin is alive or not, obviously his son must get his due.
