The Love Between Two Countries

Misunderstand

"Are you okay, Deck?" Azharin was getting ready to leave the hospital. The day after the hospitalization, Alex secretly requested to transfer Azharin to a hospital in the city.

"I'm fine Bang. Though it feels like something is missing from me." Azharin conveyed her heart to her brother.

"Yes, you can understand what you're feeling. It's just, brother hopes you can be tough and optimistic to get back pregnant."

"Hmm later we'll think of Bang. Bang, I want to go back to Indonesia with you." He looked at his brother expectantly.

Armian could not resist, looking at Azharin's hopeful gaze despite the void there. "good. We're home."

They did not return to Alex's house. After returning from the hospital, Armian had asked Alex, so they could stay at the hotel. Access is too far away to make an excuse for Alex. Alex also knew about Azharin's situation. Deep guilt could not deny to reject Armian's request.

Alex is also well aware that Azharin and Armian are not prisoners. Business politics that drag indirectly the brothers, especially for Azharin who became the main character.

In the hotel room, Armian again asked, "You sure you're going home, Rin?" Azharin just nodded.

"Then Bernard how?"

"Of course." Azharin answered lazily.

Armian convinces Azharin to wait until it is finished. But no matter what Azharin felt, he insisted he still wanted to go home without the knowledge of Bernard and the others with his brother.

"Documents are on you?" ask Armian.

"There's in the bag, Alex has returned when he came to the house."

"Good, so it's easier. My brother will buy a ticket. You assured?"

"Yes Bang. I want to go home. It feels strange and scary now."

Armian thought of a way to leave secretly. Although he and Azharin were escorted only for safety's sake, Armian was sure it would be difficult to leave the hotel.

Armian then asked where a good place to take his sister was. A place that calms his mind. They recommended one place and said it was a little far from the city.

Armian pretended to be eager to listen and asked not to be in control. She can convincingly look after her sister and is safer if not inviting attention. He reasoned his sister needed space with just him.

For the bodyguards, the reason for Armian was quite logical. He drove up to the bus that was going to the tourist spot. Armian and Azharin are on the bus. Armian carried only one backpack.

In the middle of the journey after feeling safe, they went down and they did not proceed towards the destination. They look for a taxi and turn towards the airport.

Armian can breathe a sigh of relief when he has been sitting on the plane bench. It calmed down when the plane had taken off and left the country.

Azharin has arrived in the country even at home. He went back to the room he had left. He still has a lot of rest.

He knew his brother couldn't have been there long. There were children and wives and jobs waiting for him. Although about the work Azharin did not know if Armian was taking care of the administration to no longer work as a state apparatus.

Sonia also did not bring too much Azharin to talk. He was sure, if Azharin was much better, Azharin would talk to him.

They have been in Indonesia for a week. One day arriving in Indonesia, Armian informs Alex that they have returned and all at Azharin's request.

At first hearing of their return Alex secretly wants to get angry. Given Azharin's circumstances, Alex could understand. But not with Bernard.

Bernard and the company's problems have been resolved as Alex promised, only missing a little bit about his day. The problem that arises now is precisely with his household. He feels betrayed by Azharin by returning secretly to Indonesia.

Alex told me everything. What happened to Azharin until hospital admission. One mistake Alex, she did not come clean if Azharin had lost her baby candidate. Bernard feels Azharin is taking away her baby-to-be.

Alex covered up Azharin's miscarriage for no other purpose. He just didn't want Bernard to know their baby-to-be didn't exist and while Azharin had left Bernard and his country, Bernard could have felt there was no other bond than marriage.

Alex doesn't want to feel more guilty for one of his negligence. Unfortunately Bernard's mind was not so. He felt Azharin was separating him from his son-in-law.

Bernard has also learned of it from Alex that Azharin has known much about his past with the Laurren he covered up. It added to Bernard's erroneous thinking by assuming Azharin believed more in Laurren's story and did not want to know from his own lips.

Bernard's heart ached when he thought only of Azharin's love for him. The great love had stirred up flames of anger in Bernard's heart. He approved Azharin's request to split up without any intention of contacting Azharin first.

Bernard again struggled with his work to erase his wife's shadow. He always drowned himself in a pile of office files.

He also always refused Gilberto's invitation to go out for the night. When night falls, Bernard always wants to return as soon as possible to the apartment.

Feeling something missing in the day. Azharin's greetings ranging from a warm smile to a face that looks to hold back upset when Bernard returns late or do habits that Azharin does not like.

It is with a tormented heart that Bernard remembers all his memories with his wife. The ego is bigger in his heart. "You're very stubborn. I'll see, to where you can raise that child without me." He muttered looking at Azharin's portrait on his phone screen.

Bernard repeatedly wanted to remove the photographs of Azharin, but the other side of the heart refused. Eventually, he always failed to continue his desire.

Tonight, just like the night before. After returning from work, Bernard without opening his shoes immediately chose to lie on the living room sofa. It was an activity that he often did since there was Azharin and this activity was one that made Azharin put on a flat face or direct protest. Azharin did not like shoes that had to roam inside the house which he considered to have sterilized from germs.

He always looked at his wife's face. Longing and disappointed united burning his heart yet not burning love in the corner of his heart. "I can't believe a cold woman is a cold woman!" he got upset and threw his phone on the other couch.

Satisfied to let go of the tiredness on the sofa, he got up and headed to the bathroom then took a shower. He lay down despite frequent difficulty sleeping. Not much different when there is Azharin, he also has difficulty sleeping, but because Azharin always teases him when he wants to sleep fast. Azharin's reason was simple, he found it difficult to sleep if Bernard had slept first.

In other parts of the world, Azharin also has difficulties. She felt increasingly unneeded, as she was sure, Bernard would have known of Alex, if they had lost their baby.

His crisis grew, as Bernard had a son from Laurren. Laurren's messages haunt him now.

This afternoon he was still wrapped in a blanket that covered half his body. He looked out the window. "I want to meet, but I know, you don't want to see me."

A week later he was in Indonesia, and neither did Bernard ask him. Repeatedly reaching for her phone to send her husband a message, she repeatedly canceled thinking, Bernard does not want it anymore. The husband-wife misunderstanding continues because there is no communication.
