The Bitterness of the Past

If in England, Azharin is enjoying his day. In Indonesia, Armian is inflamed. He was with Sonia asking Azharin.

"Darling, you know if that stubborn girl isn't in Spain?"

"Yes." Yeah." Sonia answered with calm.

"The boy's been going crazy ever since he broke up with the kunyuk. He could have continued on without telling me" Armian said, clenching his hands.

The reason is that Armian only found out when Azharin posted a photo of himself and two boys with the caption I could see all this after completing a meaningless relationship, and England can give more meaning to my life.

"Patience. He's not a kid anymore." Sonia tried to give Armian some understanding.

"Yes I know, but does he not think his safety is that far. To go to Spain alone I disagree if it wasn't for his stubbornness. Did he meet his mayhem world girlfriend." Armian was still protesting at length.

"She's not a stupid woman. At least he can communicate well in the country." Sonia reassures Armian, though in her heart she worries with Azharin's recklessness.

Sonia also did not expect when she saw Azharin's post. Sonia then asked in person and Azharin told her briefly. Sonia doesn't know Armian can find out. As Sonia knew, Azharin did not tell her brother and her brother did not use any social media either.

"Yes, we pray he's okay and comes home safe. I've had a headache from the time I saw his behavior." Sonia nodded sincerely hearing Armian half-complain.

"Hmmm can I ask you something?" asked Sonia to vent.

"Can. What'sthat?"

"Are we going to get married if Azharin is married?" sonia said slowly. Sonia had to point out to Armian.

"Do you mind?" ask Armian to investigate.

"Don't misunderstand me. I mean it's not like that. I was just wondering if you had any marriage plans with this relationship of ours."

"I'm sorry to be so selfish about this relationship. You knew from the beginning, Azharin was my priority. At least until someone takes responsibility for her."

"Yes, I get it. May I know the reason why you're so protective of her beyond reason as her brother."

"I'm serious about you. Okay, I'll tell you a story. I hope that by knowing the way he and I lived, you can love him wholeheartedly."

Flashback ....

"Where are you going?" tanya Azharin was still in a white dongker uniform.

"I'm sorry, mom has to go. You stay with your brother. Even though he's not my real son, he's still your brother and he loves you. Mama calmly leaves you with her presence."

"What did Mama say?"

"Yes you should know. Mama took care of him from still being a red baby. Mama was just your father's young wife. Your father's old wife left him and his son."

In the midst of Azharin's shock, Azharin was still able to raise a question. "Then would you like to do that too?"

"I'm sorry mom. You also deserve to be happy with the man you love. Mama just had to run this house for you and your brother. Now that you've grown up, you can take care of yourself."

"Ma, don't leave me. I beg Ma."

Azharin a crying teenager held her mother's hand that afternoon. Azharin just got home from school and found her mother snarling one large suitcase. Azharin's hand was slowly pushed away by her mother. Azharin sat down and was touched in her tears.

The woman hugged Armian. "I'm sorry mom. One day you will know and understand. Mama just asked, take care of your sister with all your soul."

The woman stretched her embrace. He also wiped away the tears of a boy who was just a child. "You guys, you gotta be strong. Don't be like your weak father. I keep praying you two become successful." Armian didn't understand by mother's intentions she said her father was weak.

Armian asked, "Why didn't Mama pick us? Why didn't Mama take us?" The sound of Armian had increasingly raucous resisted the cries that wanted to explode. Azharin just squealed full of sobs.

However, the woman they called mama, was hard as a rock. No tears no weakness of the heart. The woman replied with certainty, "Mama wants to be happy without you and your father!"

He patted Armian on the shoulder when he heard the roar of a car entering the grounds of the house. "Mama left. Take care of yourself and your sister. At least, take care of your sister until someone takes responsibility for her. Don't expect your father's responsibility."

The woman stepped forward with certainty. Armian could not see the face of the man who helped lift the mother's suitcase. The tears that were falling down heavily had clouded his eyes. After the car left the grounds of the house, Armian was still fixated in his tears. Armian's consciousness came as Azharin called out with a single word, then fainted.

Armian hurriedly wiped away his tears and accelerated his pace towards Azharin. Armian carried his sister and laid her on the guest sofa. He looked for wind oil and waited for his sister to come to her senses.

"Well, Mom, why did you have to go to us?" ask Azharin. Tears were shed back on her cheeks. Armian said nothing. He was also still very surprised by what happened and heard.

"Now at least you know the picture of my family and the reason I prioritized Azharin. There's still a lot of pain she's been in after mom left us." Armian said after telling some of his past.

Sonia's tears also spilled when she learned how bitter Azharin's past was. Sonia did not think that Azharin's mother had just left and even until now did not know where her biological mother was after leaving them.

"Thank you for sharing your story with me. I'll keep this story just for us. I won't press."

"It doesn't matter to you. You're a little above Azharin and the girl somehow found her companion. Moreover, breaking up from the kunyuk was instead looking for a space man."

Sonia in the rest of her sobs couldn't help but laugh at hearing her lover swearing at three people at once.

"We wish him all the best. She deserves to be happy after holding her heart with the kunyuk man you said."

Armian felt calm hearing Sonia's sincere tone.

"Do you know who the space man is?"

Sonia shook her head. "You also know he's not so open from before. It's just that I felt there was a slight change after he wasn't with Hendri. He promised to tell us about the adventure and there's the warmest story in England" he said."

Armian finds out something new, but Azharin is more open to Sonia for personal matters. Armian is getting more and more convinced to be with Sonia. Armian just doesn't want to be selfish if he has to hang on to Sonia's future. Armian's lucky Sonia will wait.

"It turns out that after adulthood, she needs an older sister figure to share her life story. I'm grateful to have you." Armian praised Sonia full of sincerity.

"Not to thank me. Whether you are in my life, I loved Azharin from the beginning. Your sister is serious about her attitude, but she is a very kind woman and easily empathizes with her office mates. If it looks like there are no friends, it's because of its stiff and reserved nature."

"Ohhh, so once he's in the office," Armian muttered more aimed at himself.

"Yes. His new news, we see him more cheerful and open now. May the space man you mean please him."

Armian's laughter finally escaped seeing the way Sonia imitated Armian's words that equated Azharin's foreign man with the name of a space man.
