The Love Between Two Countries

The Love Between Two Countries
Whys? What's wrong?

It's good to make the bitter past a valuable lesson, not a mere vengeful journey.

________

Bernard headed straight to his parents' house after a short drive to a shopping mall not far from the Azharin hotel. Azharin carried a few hands. Azharin custom if you visit or visit the mistress Megan still carried away far to other countries.

Bernard had forbidden Azharin from inconveniencing himself to carry his hand. Azharin insisted and again Bernard could not resist.

Azharin had known anyone who lived with Bernard's mother. Bernard had told me as they enjoyed breakfast.

Now they had reached Bernard's parents' house. The house is quite big. The yard without any fences fused with other neighbors. Green grass decorates the yard around the house.

Bernard's parents did choose to move to the suburbs for his old age. Upon hearing Bernard's car enter the grounds, Bernard's mother and brother and nephew greeted them on the veranda.

A spy of similar color to Bernard had looked at Azharin. Azharin is a little nervous. Azharin looked at Bernard. Bernard nodded for sure. Bernard squeezed gently Azharin's hand.

Azharin and Bernard continued to make sure steps towards the veranda. Azharin grew increasingly awkward as she got closer to Bernard's family. The awkwardness began to wear off as little Barbara shouted and jumped into Bernard's arms.

"Uncle, why haven't you been visiting for so long." Barbara asked after Bernard kissed both of her cheeks.

"Uncle is very busy, dear." Bernard said while lowering Barbara back.

"Hallo Ma, how are you?" bernard asked, hugging and kissing his mother. Azharin then shook her head and slightly bent over. Azharin was still stiff and formal.

"Greetings to Madam, I am Azharin" Azharin said, shaking Bernard's mother's hand.

"Emilia."

He continued to meet Bernard's older sister. "Azharin."

"Glorya" said Bernard's brother when Azharin introduced himself. The sweetest smile.

"Hello Little Miss, introduce your name to this beautiful woman." Bernard is back with Barbara.

Barbara shook Azharin's outstretched hand. Azharin returned Barbara's friendly smile. Azharin could feel no rejection from the Bernard family. There is a warming in the heart. Bernard's mother took Azharin in. Azharin gave her small parcel to Glorya.

"Papa to Ma's farm?" bernard asked when he did not see his father. His father had a small farm to fill his old age. The farm is not too far from their home.

"So, he's with Rodney. He asked you to let him know when he was here" his mother said. They were sitting in the guest chair.

Bernard wasted no time, telling his father. His father turned home. Bernard still holds his niece. His nephew was with Bernard's father.

Azharin was still silent other than just spreading a small and sometimes faint smile. His nature increasingly looks quiet and that makes Bernard happy. Azharin is like a submissive woman.

"Do you like Azharin, Ara?" bernard asked, calling his nephew's favorite name.

The little girl nodded. Then his mother asked, "Why do your eyes only look at him, O Little Miss?"

"Why is he different from us?" ask the girl in wonder. They all did not expect Barbara's question.

Bernard responded first. "Azharin from a far country. Not from our country."

"Then where's Laurren?" ask the girl plainly.

Glorya could only stare intently at Barbara. Her name was children, Barbara did not understand her mother's gaze. Seeing his uncle silent, he again asked, "Is Uncle not with him anymore?"

Azharin was able to judge Bernard wrongly because of his nephew's question. Azharin was just curious, why Bernard had not also replied. Azharin ignored the curiosity and kept silent by acting as if nothing had happened. Azharin's calm attitude even made Bernard's mind raged.

Emilia already knew that her son had no relationship with Laurren. Emilia had only once asked, when the last few months Bernard had only gone home alone. Emilia did not ask much after Bernard said it was over. Emilia never interfered about her children's romance.

Seeing Bernard speechless, a little made Emilia's heart ache. This is the first time Emilia sees her son misbehaving in front of a woman. Moreover, the woman is thought to be Emilia new to him. Emilia only knew a few days ago when Bernard would return from Spain. Bernard only said he would introduce the woman he knew from Indonesia.

Emilia would not interfere. Her instinct as a mother says her son is eager to have this Asian woman. Either it's because of love or there's another element. Emilia could also feel this calm girl was even louder than the Laurren she had known for many years.

"Your uncle is no longer with her." Bernard was still staring meaningfully at Azharin's silence. His mother's voice awakened his self-absorption.

"Yes, uncle has been with him for a year."

Bernard deliberately said with the number of years. Although he was sure his nephew did not understand what a year was. For him enough Azharin could figure out what happened. Bernard's conjecture proved, Azharin felt a little more relieved. That means Bernard knew him after being out of touch with Laurren.

However, once again this family and Azharin were stunned when the little girl's tiny mouth said the sentence in a loud tone. "Good!"

"Why? What's wrong?" ask Bernard.

Bernard immediately responded to the little girl's words with a myriad of curiosity, and when he realized it was too late for him to regret. His blue eyes looked back at Azharin. Those blue eyes grew even more panicked when they saw Azharin frowning slightly.

"Death to me, this girl must have thought differently of me."

"You can't get me wrong, Barbie. I just want to know why Ara has said so much now." He quickly explained.

"Barbie? Isn't his name Azharin?" barbara's innocent question made a smile present not only on Azharin's lips.

"Uncle likes to call him that. Isn't she a doll?"

"Uncle's right. She's beautiful and her skin is beautiful." Barbara stretched out her two hands. He intended to compare with the skin of his hands.

"He's not as scary as Laurren either." Barbara again compared it to Laurren.

Bernard could only gently rub his nape. He wanted to ban Barbara from naming Laurren, but Bernard was more worried that Azharin might misunderstand him. I thought Bernard wanted to cover something up.

Azharin could not keep the feeling that stuck later. Finally, Azharin opened her voice. He desperately asked back home what the Bernard family had judged him. He wanted an unanswered answer.

"I'm sorry if I ask. Does Ara not like Laurren?" azharin asked Barbara frankly.

He was fishing for Barbara. His eyes looked at Barbara softly. Although Azharin's tone was soft, it gave a shock stimulus to the condition of Bernard's brain to hear Azharin's question.

"No."

"Why?" Pursue Azharin quickly before anyone interrupts Barbara's words.

"I've seen him call and heard him say I love you so much baby. My uncle is here."

If Azharin quickly turned to Bernard. Emilia instead noticed Azharin as well as Glorya.
