"I'm going crazy, Alex." Bernard walked back and forth in Alex's apartment. His hands occasionally massaged the trunk of his skull. Alex just kept watching.
Bernard's worry and uneasiness grew stronger after two days passed. The face of his wife who always looked at him in recent times. Azharin was calm, not demanding much. Longing and fear overshadowed Bernard's face.
Bernard then sat down in front of Alex. He sat slightly leaning forward. His elbows rest on his thighs. Clenched hands. His fist accompanied his anxious body language.
"What is the development of Laurren? He's involved?" I can't wait for Alex's answer.
Alex shakes. "As you think. He doesn't know anything."
"Hmmm. What the hell is going on?" Bernard seemed to think hard.
"The city is so small, there's no clue whatsoever." Bernard mutters.
As strongly as Bernard thought, he did not think of Azharin's disappearance due to personal or business matters. Azharin never wanted to be invited to participate in company events. Azharin also never stopped by the office. Azharin was purely just a wife at home. The only thing Bernard thought of, this was purely kidnapping for no personal reason.
"I have to go to the bar, are you coming or not?" Alex had stood by and waited for Bernard's reply. Rising from the couch Bernard answers he agrees to come to the bar.
"Where's Laurren?" bernard asked, opening his voice. Alex has been driving on the streets.
"I locked him up somewhere. You want to meet?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"For what?"
"I just want to make sure the purpose of the email."
"Not to repeat a love story?" ask Alex cynically.
"You misunderstood. I love Barbie so much."
"Good."
"When can you meet him?"
"Later, after I met someone at the bar."
Silence stretched between them. Busy with your own thoughts. Bernard gasped when Alex said, "You want to be here?"
Bernard without many words followed Alex's footsteps. Alex kept on heading to his room. Alex smiles and raises his hand when people who know Alex greet him.
Alex heads behind his desk, while Bernard heads to the couch. Bernard immediately chose to lay down his body. He called someone and when he heard the word yes sir, Bernard asked, "Are there any clues?"
Bernard looked disappointed. Alex didn't have to ask much to see the disappointed murat on Bernard's face.
Tok ... tok ....
"Lake in."
Alex's men made a small voice because they saw Alex was not alone in the room.
"Where is he?" ask Alex normally. Bernard without even listening to Alex.
Alex went outside, having asked Bernard to wait for him. Bernard doesn't want to know Alex's business. To him, thinking about and searching for his wife's sudden disappearance was his business.
Bernard again contacted his person, he only wanted to meet Laurren and would return to the area where Azharin lost.
Before long, Alex is back. Bernard impatiently wanted to return to the small town where Azharin had no news. "Alex, I'm troubling you. Can we see Laurren tonight?"
"So impatient?" Alex was always provoked to be cynical if Bernard mentioned the name Laurren.
Bernard doesn't want to argue. "Yes, because I want to go back to that little town tonight."
"Tonight?"
"Yes, you think I can calm down. My wife knows where she is now." Bernard's agitated face made Alex feel guilty for still suspecting Bernard that there were feelings for Laurren.
"Sorrys. Lets go."

An hour's drive away, Alex arrives at a house that looks pretty big. Automatic house fence open by yourself. Alex parked his car in front of the yard. Someone came out and welcomed me.
"How's he?" alex asked as he continued to step inside the house.
"He would not swallow his food. I ignored as you requested Mister," the man replied respectfully.
"Open the door" Alex said.
"You again! What do you want he!" Laurren snapped at Alex violently.
Alex stamped onto Laurren's chin. "You can't yell at me!"
"Why did you lock me up?" Laurren lowered his tone, he lowered his voice. He didn't want to provoke Alex further.
"I have a gift for you."
"I don't need your gift. Enough of you to set me free. I've never bullied you, why do you always trouble me?"
"I think you really like my gift this time."
"I tid__"
"Come in."
Bernard walked over with a slow step. A cold aura radiated from his body. His slow footsteps seemed to sound heavy in both Laurren and Alex's ears. Alex's suspicious attitude instantly disappeared once he saw Bernard's cold aura. This was the first time Alex had seen Bernard's hateful attitude.
"Bern ... Bernard?? You ... You're coming?" laurren's voice sounded disjointed. He was surprised and also very happy with Bernard's arrival.
Laurren suddenly gets a breath of fresh air and feels free from Alex's confinement.
"Yes I'm coming." Bernard loomed in front of Laurren just a few steps away. Alex had shifted and was upright beside Bernard.
"Stay in your place!" Bernard held back by expanding his palm towards Laurren seeing that Laurren was about to run towards him. Laurren. He only realized Bernard's expression was very cold and his gaze seemed to want to kill.
Alex is increasingly surprised to see Bernard's reaction to Laurren. His attitude and body language were very different when he was with Azharin. There is no hospitality. Very different from the expectations in Alex's thinking.
"You know Alex? laurren asked to distract.
"I don't have to answer anything from you, but you're the one who has to answer what I need to know."
"Am I parasitic here?" alex asked quietly to Bernard.
"You deserve to know. So you don't always accuse me." Bernard's face was hardened.
Bernard had weighed long before he would speak to Laurren. He has implicated Alex, so Alex must also know what the problems are behind his love for Laurren in the past.
Laurren was silent like a living statue. He realized his desire to be free was just a dream in broad daylight. The old Bernard is no more.
"You're involved in my wife's disappearance? How long have you been planning!" without much ado he asked questions and statements. Laurren's attitude that looks flutter makes Alex's forehead wrinkled. The attitude was much different when Alex asked a while ago.
"I don't understand what you're talking about."
"I can dump your body here. No one knows, no one can find you. They just thought you were going with a rich guy. Wasn't your twin brother Gilberto seeing in the shopping mall that night!"
"I don't get it any more, Lorena's still in Italy as far as I know."
"Oh yeah? Are you sure?" Bernard said with scorn.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Train your tongue to lie. Where's my wife!"
"I don't know what you're talking about." As much as possible Laurren remained evasive.
"You don't know or won't tell!"
"I don't know. I really don't know." Laurren repeats the words and instead shows he is getting panicked.
"What's my wife's fault with you?" Bernard advanced toward Laurren. Laurren freaked. Spontaneously Laurren got up and stood docked to the wall of the room.
"What's her fault?" repeat Bernard again.
"Nothing." Laurren answered briefly. Bernard smiled coldly.
"Who's behind you?"
"Take me off. I'll say frankly." Laurren surrenders. He was very afraid to see Bernard's attitude now. Not to mention Alex's reaction which also looks angry. Alex's face had stiffened and his jaw was hardened.
Alex impatiently, he called Laurren back to sit on the edge of the bed. Laurren stepped out in fear. His head was down, his hands were trembling.
Instead of her fear, she cried. The two men had no empathy. "I hate you both so much."
"That's your right. I don't care" replied Bernard. Bernard again said, "I just need to know where my wife is!"
