The Love Between Two Countries

The Love Between Two Countries
Where are you Barbie?

The days that Bernard and Azharin thought would be beautiful in the midst of waiting for the birth of their children turned out that the path of fate had not been on their side. Azharin disappeared when they finished eating. Azharin went to the car first. However, when Bernard and Alex catch up, they find the car empty.

Bernard and Alex were panicking. They saw Azharin's little bag lying on the back bench of the car. Bernard was like a fool just circling around the car without being able to think anything.

Alex held her shoulders, so as not to panic too much. It was not that it was diminishing, but Bernard's unrest was growing. Bernard punched the wall of the car venting his emotions. Alex silences and lets, even if Bernard's hand is not injured, then the car wall or even the car glass can be Bernard's moons.

"What's really going on." Bernard muttered with no intention of asking.

"Let's explore the area around here." Alex took Bernard. Bernard looked at Alex with a troubled look.

"Come on."

Alex takes on the role of driver. Bernard with a gameless step headed to the passenger door and entered. Bernard sat down looking at the bar.

They searched the small town. There was no sign of Azharin. The day has become more and more twilight. Alex makes a choice, take Bernard back to town or stay here for a while. Alex has business tonight that can't be delayed.

Bernard decided to stay to continue looking for Azharin. He was sure Azharin was still around this small town.

Alex will leave the car to Bernard and plan to rent another car to return. Bernard refused, nor did he know for certain the area here. Bernard decided, just take a taxi.

"For one tonight, you search first. I'll be back by noon tomorrow and if twice twenty-four hours he can't be found, we call the police." Alex squeezes Bernard's shoulder.

Bernard nodded and said, "Alright."

Bernard wordlessly got down from the car and stepped towards the hotel. He ordered a room to rest for a while.

Alex looked at Bernard and let out a small sigh. After Bernard doesn't get back out, Alex presses the accelerator and starts leaving the hotel.

In the hotel room, Bernard was standing in front of the windowpanes of the hotel, he scuffed the window blinds and called someone. "Please come to Spain tomorrow morning. I'll tell you what city you're headed to, later" he said in a calm tone.

Bernard pressed the call. This time he contacted his close friend, Gilberto.

"You busy?" bernard asked in a depressed tone.

Gilberto knew Bernard was not well off his tone. Gilberto stopped his work. "No. What's up?" ask Gilberto.

"Azharin is gone" Bernard said.

Gilberto gasped in shock. He asked if it was serious. His common sense thought, there was no way Bernard would joke about something as serious as this. Bernard was also not a ignorant person and liked to prank people. His life is full of seriousness.

"How can you?" Gilberto no longer knew what to say. Only that sentence could he spit out to reduce his shock.

Bernard tells how it was at first and until Azharin disappeared.

"I'm sorry to ask him into the car without me." Bernard's regret was so strong.

"Don't just regret it. If you're just sorry, then there'll be other regrets. You should think calmly, and keep looking." Gilberto reminded Bernard to calm down.

"You're right. I can't be like this. Even though I'm so scared." Bernard was honest about his feelings for his close friend.

"Just trust me, she'll be fine somewhere."

"May be so."

"I can't keep up, I do a lot of work" Gilberto said.

"I get. No problem."

After saying so, there was a pause between them. Bernard said first, "Well, I take a bath and will continue looking for him."

Bernard did not take a shower. He headed to the bed and sat on the edge, putting a cell phone next to him. Slowly he opened one by one the buttons of his shirt. Seen the chest of his field, although his stomach is slightly bloated.

Bernard gripped the edge of the bed channeling anxiety and regret.

"Is this what Laurren did? How unlikely. Laurren didn't know I was here in this country. Definitely not him. Then who brought Azharin. Was there anyone else who accidentally meant to be evil to her? But how can anyone hurt a pregnant woman?" Bernard continued to stir with his thoughts.

Bernard finally flushed himself under the bathroom shower faucet.

Before long, he had been fully dressed. He's wearing his jacket. He walked to find a place to eat. He sat down sipping his coffee. She rarely had coffee at night since her marriage.

His blue eyes were keenly watching his surroundings, while thinking with which business partner he was troubled. Bernard recalled the three people he had rejected out loud. One of them was the man who was with Laurren when Gilberto saw him. Maxwells.

Bernard could not find a reason to be caught up in Azharin's disappearance.

Bernard walked after sitting there for hours. He walked with small steps and his eyes could not stand watching his surroundings. He occasionally asked, "Excuse me, sir, have you seen an Indonesian woman here?"

"Indonesians? Who's she?" This man asked in astonishment.I never saw the person you meant."

"My wife."

People who are asked sometimes shake their heads, sometimes answering not knowing that there are even those who look so astonished because of Bernard's question that seems strange to them.

Bernard saw several young people gathered. He went there and asked. Luckily one of them understood the language Bernard spoke. Bernard again asked, if anyone saw a woman with high features, long black hair and a little wavy. Most importantly, the woman is pregnant.

Instead of getting an answer, Bernard was blackmailed by a group of young people Bernard was not afraid. He said, "If you want money, then work!" bernard said, flanking between the neck and chest of the young man who had replied.

Bernard reached into his jeans and waved a few pieces of money, after slashing the body of the man who was intending to blackmail him.

"This is to pay for the time that is disturbed. If you want more money, get the woman and bring it to me without a single scratch."

Bernard did not tell them that his wife was looking for him. When they agreed, Bernard gave a contact number that could be contacted.

Bernard returned to the hotel and could only close his eyes after dawn. He woke up when his phone rang. He quickly picked up without noticing who was calling.

"Yes, hello."

"You'd better get back here."

"What's wrong?"

"We can't report until the deadline. It's good that you settle things with the woman of your past. He arrived today."

"You sure?"

"Madam Jill gave me the news."

"What if Azharin here needs me?" Bernard got up from his sleep and sat in a dilemma on the side of the bed.

Alex fell silent. He agreed with Bernard. Although he did not know where the exact whereabouts were, at least if Azharin was still there, it was still possible for Bernard to rush over.

"You're the one who confirmed whether or not he was involved in my wife's disappearance. Though I'm sure he wasn't involved."

"You're still defending that woman" Alex's voice sounded cynical.

"Don't misunderstand me. I just don't want to be irrational. Time and distance are very far.It is not possible."

"As far as you. I'll take care of it." Alex did not argue long with Bernard. Alex disconnects the phone. Bernard was fixated, he wanted to see Laurren. However, because of his logic that Laurren had nothing to do with Azharin's disappearance, Bernard felt that there was no point in meeting Laurren. He gave it up entirely to Alex.

After twenty-four hours of unknown news of Azharin, Bernard reported Azharin's disappearance to the local police. Afterwards, he returns to Alex's town alone as Alex cannot come as he promised and temporarily leaves his wife's search to the police and confidants who have arrived on time..
