The Knight in Shinning Suit

The Knight in Shinning Suit
(S2): Abduction

Joshua and Phillippa were in front of Laurel's house in Los Angeles. He rang the bell many times, but no one opened the door. The surroundings of the house are very quiet and uninhabited.

“What could Laurel have moved?”

“Entahlah. I don't know.”

Joshua once again pressed the bell and still no one opened the door.

“How is this?”said Phillippa who had been feeling restless since then.

“Halo is anyone inside!”shout Joshua.

“It looks like this house is indeed empty,” Phillippa said.

“It looks like so.”

“So what should we do now? We've come all the way here,” said Phillippa.

“We'd better go back to the hotel and we think about what the next step is.”

Phillippa nodded.

“Tomorrow we come again here,” Joshua said.

🥀🥀🥀

Three days had passed still no news of Kana's whereabouts. Hera looked increasingly agitated fearing something worse was happening to Cana. Even during these two days the neighbors have offered their condolences and comforted him.

For two days the police also did not contact him and made him currently want to run to the police station to find out information about Kana's whereabouts, but she refrained from doing so and preferred to stay home knowing her captor would call. Hera sat uneasily looking at the phone in front of her.

Joshua and Phillippa returned to Laurel's house for the third time in three days. The sound of a crow sounded very loud. The situation around the house looks very quiet like there is no occupant. A resident passed by the house and greeted him.’’Now that the house is empty, the owner has entered the mental hospital.”

“Eh, mental hospital?’’

“True.”

“Then did a small child live here?’’

“True.Indeed there is a girl living here if it is not wrongly named Kana."

“Then where is the child?’’

“Then I don't know."

“Do you really have no idea where the boy went?’’

“I don't know.”

“Good. Thanks for the information.”

The resident passed away and Phillippa looked very disappointed.

“So her name is Kana.”

Phillippa hasn't even had the chance to give a name to her newborn baby and truly regretting it, she's already a step too late to find her child.

’’What should we do now?”ask Phillippa.

“We're going to a mental hospital.”

They got into the car and it didn't take long for them to reach the mental hospital.

“I want to meet Laurel Kyle,’’ Joshua told one of the guards.

“Wait a minute.”

They sit waiting for the seat that has been provided. Five minutes later one of the officers approached him.

’’You can come with me, but previously leave your bag here.’’

They entered without bringing anything and followed the officer from behind. The clerk took him to the right wing of the building and finally stopped in front of a locked room, then opened it.’’If something happens quickly call us.”

“Good. Thank you.”

Joshua walked in slowly and saw Laurel sitting curled up on the bed, while Phillippa waited outside.

’’Halo Laurel !’’greet Joshua.

Laurel raised her face and was surprised to see her guest.

“You...’’

“I'm surprised you're here. How are you?’’

“As you can see, my news is not so good. What are you doing here?’’

“Have you kidnapped my son?”

“True.” Joshua's two clenched hands held back his anger.

“Why did you kidnap her?”

“Because I don't like you marrying another woman.”

“Why?”

“Because I love you, Joshua. You left me.”

“Since long ago you already know that we are just friends.”

“But I don't think of it that way.”

“Now where is the child?’’

“I don't know, she's not with me anymore since I got in here.”

Joshua did not believe Laurel's words.

“You must know where he is, right?Quickly tell me!’’

“Although I know, I won't tell you.”

“LAUREL,’’shout Joshua.

“I don't care anymore about that kid. I hate him so much, because I hate his mother."

”Why do you hate her, what's wrong with Phillipa? You don't know each other.”

“It wasn't Phillipa's fault, because he never snatched me from anyone. So tell me where the kid is?’’

“I don't want to say it. I hope the boy dies.”

’’Where is Kana?’’shout Joshua.

“I won't tell you.”

Laurel offends a smile.’’I won't let you find him, now you're out of here.”

Laurel stood up and continued to push Joshua's body out.’’Don't see me again.”

“I beg you to say where Kana is now.”

“HA's..HA..HA...HA...’’

Laurel laughed out loud. Joshua finally came home disappointed again, then he remembered his brother Laurel who lived in Los Angeles. Joshua was planning to go there soon.

“What happened?”ask Phillippa.

“Laurel admits to abducting our son.”

“Really? Is Kana our son?”

“ Yes.”

Phillippa was happy, because her son was still alive, but she was also sad, because Kana disappeared again.

“I'll see sister Laurel.”

“Do you know where his home is?”

“Iya.”

“We don't waste any more time.”

Joshua and Phillippa head to Laurel's sister Hera's house. Now her only hope is her sister Laurel although the chances are very small she knows of Kana's whereabouts.

After traveling far enough they can finally find Hera's house and her home address is not difficult to find. After exhaling long Joshua pressed the bell. Sound of footsteps from inside.’’Who?’’ask a woman from inside.

“I Joshua Waldgrave.Friends Laurel.”

Door opens. A slim woman and tear marks are still clearly visible on her face.’’Please login!’’

“What do you want to drink?’’

“What's.”

Hera immediately went to the kitchen while Joshua was in the living room looking around.”

Hera came with two glasses of orange juice.

“Good house.”

“Thank you.” Hera smiling weakly.’’Can I help you?’’

“Ah this way I want to ask you something, I don't know if you know it or not, but I don't know where else to ask, because Laurel won't tell me.”

“You've seen it in a mental hospital.”

Joshua nodded.

’’He deserves to be there. I got him in there,” said Hera.

“So you put it there?’’

“True. His mental illness recurred. So you were wondering what?’’

“I'm looking for a little girl named Kana. I only found out her name when I tried to meet Laurel at her house by one of the residents there who told us.

Hera again looks sad.’’What is your relationship with the child?’’

“Kana was our son, when the newborn Kana Laurel kidnapped him. Do you know anything about Kana?’’

Hera was shocked to hear Joshua's confession. His eyes widened.

“So Kana is your child?”

“True,”said Phillippa.

“I had absolutely no idea that Laurel had kidnapped Kana from the hospital. Laurel told me that Kana's parents had died and that her parents were the ones she hated.

“So do you know where Kana?” is

“You're late.”

“What do you mean?’’joshua asked with a confused face.

“Kana has been kidnapped and until now there is still no news .” Hera was crying again.

“Di..sequested,’’shout Joshua.’’But how can it be?’’

Phillippa felt shock and her cries broke. Joshua hugged his wife.

“Two days ago I took her shopping, due to my negligence, Kana got away from my supervision and finally she was kidnapped.”

“So all this time Kana was with you?’’

“True. I took Kana from Laurel's hands, because she was always tortured by her, and then I brought her here. I intended to adopt her, but before that happened Kana was kidnapped. It's all my fault.”

“I'm sure Kana will be fine.” Though Joshua's heart is not so sure.“We'll definitely find him.”

“What if Kana is never found again?’’ask Phillippa.

“Do not have such thoughts. I'm sure we can meet him again.”

Joshua hugged Phillippa more and more, hoping that Kana would return soon. Meanwhile Hera always looks at the door hoping Kana shows up there and says, My” is home!’’

“I'd really like to hear his voice again and see his tiny face.”

“You are lucky to still be able to meet and know him, whereas we do not know what he is like,” Phillippa said.

Hera took a small album containing photographs of Kana that she had taken during her stay with him. One by one Joshua and Phillippa opened it and noticed Kana's style when photographed.’’She looks a lot like her mother, Joshua commented.

Phillippa's hand stroked each photo of Kana hoping her daughter would return into her arms. Joshua looked at the photos of Kana with sadness. [ ]
