12. Exams

The next morning Phillippa and Angelica went together to the flower shop. On the way he walks into a music store and a confused Angelica follows him in.

"Phillippa, where have you been? I thought you'd never come again?"

I'm sorry Mr. Smith. My father died 5 days ago he wrote on paper.

"Oh I'm sorry. I don't know. I'm so sorry."

Phillippa then introduced Angelica to Mr. Smith and he were surprised when Phillippa often came here to play the piano.

Mr. Smith then whispered, "Your fans are sad, because these few days he can't listen to your pianom play anymore."

Phillippa regrets disappointing his only fan.

"Don't be sad! I'm sure he'll listen to your pianom play more often" he said with a mysterious smile.

Mr. Smith invited Phillippa to play the piano, while he and Angelica sat behind him.  Angelica was amazed to hear him. It was the first time he had ever listened to Phillippa's piano. He never thought his friend could play piano this well. Beethoven's Moonlight is still beautiful until Mr. Smith stood up and clapped his hands which made Angelica surprised. He also clapped his hands loudly.

Phillippa's feelings after playing the piano his feelings got better. He enjoys being able to entertain people with his piano playing.

" If I knew you could play the piano, I'd have asked you to be a pianist not to be a florist waitress" Angelica said. Phillippa smiled.

"Someday he will be a famous pianist" said Mr. Smiths. "Don't forget the day after tomorrow you come to Waldgrave Music School to take the 10am exam on the 2nd floor."

I'm gonna come.

"good. I'll be there too and of course your fans too."

The girl's eyes twinkled with pleasure, then they left. After being outside, Angelica stopped her bike.

" You want to take the music school entrance exam. This is so incredible. Why haven't you told me about this before?"

Ii'm sorry. I haven't had a chance to tell you lately.

"Have forgotten it. Imagine if you get that scholarship. You're going to Waldgrave's music school. A very famous music school in the city. I'm so proud of you."

Angelica and Phillippa paddled their bikes again with a new sense of excitement and excitement.

"Whatever you say."

Joshua went into his very large room. Inside there is a long and brown sofa and 4 other chairs that have the same color. At the end of the room was a shiny black piano. Various flowers decorate vases placed in various corners of the room including work tables. Half of the wall is only a glass that faces directly to the busy city of New York. The sunlight illuminated his office.

Joshua sat down at his desk examining some documents that had to be signed before being handed to his secretary he saw the clock on the wall already at 10:39 the exam had already begun and was in progress. He hopes his piano girl will pass the test.

Phillippa was nervous waiting for his name to be called. His hands were sweating coldly. He wants this test to be over soon.

"Calm Phillippa! Everything's gonna be okay." Angelica continues to give spirit.

Actually Phillippa also felt uncomfortable continued to be looked at by everyone, because of the scars on his face and he also heard the whispers of people around him. He tried to ignore it, but it was enough to disturb his calmness.

After two hours of waiting, his name was finally called. Phillippa tried to calm himself down before finally entering. The exam room is quite spacious there is only one piano in each exam room which amounts to 10 rooms. The judges had 5 irang.2 women and 1 man sitting in front of a long glazed wooden table. The jurors were momentarily shocked to see his face, but they regained their composure and told Phillippa to sit down at the piano. The girl was also surprised to see the familiar face of the man sitting behind the jury. The man who helped her. He did not understand why the man was here.

Before starting to play his piano, Phillippa gave greetings, then bowed, then sat down.The first dish he was required to play music by Beethoven Fantaisie-Iprompromtu. Everyone who was there was stunned. For a moment they were made to stop breathing. [ ]
