Joshua went to see his father the following night after he returned home from the hospital for a DNA test. Thomas was enjoying his dinner. The man did not feel breathless anymore. Joshua was grateful for it. His father's situation has gotten better. For many years his father had asthma and in recent years his asthma often relapsed and was unable to do heavy work anymore. Joshua sat by his bed.

"I'm sorry about what happened this afternoon. I suddenly took dad's hair."

"What are you doing with my hair?"

"I just want to make sure something later I'll explain everything. How's dad doing?"

"It's better and maybe you can take a little walk in the park tomorrow morning. How's your job at the office and music school?"

"Everything went well including the preparation of Barbara's piano concert."

"Good Dad, I'm glad you made Barbara sign a contract with our company." Thomas was silent as if considering something, and he said, "I want you to marry Barbara."

"Married to Barbara?"repeat with a surprised face.

"really. She's a woman who deserves to be your wife. She is beautiful, kind and moreover her family is a rich businessman, if you marry her it will greatly benefit us. Think about it."

"I don't love her."

"If you mean Genevieve, I still love her, but she's dead."

Thomas was surprised."Excuse me. I don't know."

"Love will come by itself, if you are married. Barbara's parents have agreed, if their daughter marries you. If you agree, they will arrange your engagement as soon as possible. I want to see you get married and give you a grandchild. Dad is old and maybe you'll be soon. You're 38 years old and it's time to get married."

"Think of father's words. Now I want to rest."

Joshua left his father, then he went to his room and thought about his father's words.

The day of the concert came Joshua and his secretary entered the performance building where the piano concert was to be held. They entered the concert hall and were already crowded by many spectators. Joshua and his secretary took the front seat. All the audience applauded, as the music players began to arrive on stage. Barbara sat down at the piano and gave a sweet smile when she saw Joshua.

"I'm sure Barbara's in love with you. She gave you her sweetest smile yet" whispered Sandra.

Joshua gave Sandra a plot."You can be quiet no sooner the show will start."

Sandra snorted in annoyance."I'm sure soon he'll declare his love to you."

"Sandraaa.."soo gnarled.

"good. I'll shut up. But if what I'm saying is true, you should treat me for a walk."

"You are this."

"I'll be quiet."

The sound of music began to reverberate throughout the aura and Barbara began to play music composed by Liszt La Campanella. All the spectators were made to be swept away by him and it was as if they had forgotten how to breathe. All the spectators stood up and gave a clap of hands that instantly rumbled throughout the corner of the hall room, when the music was done playing.

"BRAHOO!"the audience shouted.

"He played really well, didn't he?"ask Sandra.

"Barbara has played very well, but even so the girl can play better."

"Who?"

"You want to know."

After a short break the concert started again with music by Ravel Miroirs no.4 and Barbara again showed her ability to play the piano and she received a standing ovation from the audience for the second time. After the concert ended, Joshua met him backstage accompanied by Sandra.

Barbara looked really happy when Joshua came to see her. He immediately walked closer to her.

"Your pianom game is great."

"Do you like it?"

"Of course."

"I'm glad to hear that. That's enough for me."

"Congratulations to you!"

"Thank you."

Without saying anything else Joshua returned to the front hall and greeted some of his guests for the success of his show. One day after the concert Barbara came to see him at the office. He was surprised by his sudden arrival. Joshua let her sit down and ordered some orange juice for her to Sandra.

"It's a surprise you came to see me."

"There's something I want to talk to you about."

"alright. What do you want to talk to me about."

"I love you."

Joshua was surprised, but then he could control himself again.

"It's really unexpected."

Inevitably Joshua admits Sandra's guess is right that Barbara has fallen in love with him, but even so he can't take his feelings for granted.

"Thank you for loving me. I'm thrilled. But I can't answer it right now. I'm sorry."

Barbara looks disappointed."Its alright. I-i understand. You need time and I'll give it."

Not long after, Sandra came with orange juice. Barbara kissed him slowly.

"I hope you give me the answer soon."

Barbara got out of her chair and said goodbye."Thank you for taking the time for me. See you soon."

After Barbara left, Sandra went straight to her boss."That's right what I told you." Sandra put on a winning smile.

"Yes. You're right.Satisfied?"

"You have to treat me for a walk."

"I didn't promise you anything. Now leave me."

"Good."

Just as Sandra was about to come out, Joshua called her back."How do you know Barbara expressed love for me, while you were outside?"

"Sorry Sir. I eavesdropped on you."

"You're this. Go now!"

The sound of knocking on the door blew away Joshua's daydream one week ago. He was still thinking about his father's words to marry Barbara maybe he could love her after marrying her.

"Lake in!"

"Sorry Sir. There's a woman named Rosalind Du Coudry who wants to see you."

"Rosalind," he was surprised."Get him in!"

Sandra came out and then Rosalind appeared from behind the door. Joshua stood up and immediately regretted it." Sorry my arrival bothered you."

"It's okay. We haven't seen each other in a long time. How are you doing?"

"I'm good" replied Rosalind."It seems you're okay too."

"I'm doing fine. Can I help you?"

"I found this letter in Genevieve's room while I was tidying up her stuff again that would be given to others."

Joshua took the letter from Rosalind's hand and noticed the envelope

"The letter is intended for you. It doesn't seem to have been sent yet."

"Thank you for bringing it to me."

"Maybe the contents are important so I delivered them here. Excuse me first."

Rosalind stood up, then walked out. Sandra looked at her boss' guests in surprise.

"Who is that woman?"

"You always want to know. He's Bellamare's servant."

Sandra nodded in understanding.

"I'd like to ask you your opinion about Barbara" Joshua said.

"Please!"

"Do I have to marry him?"

"If you love her why not."

"I don't love her."

"Then you don't marry her."

"How about you start dating her first who knows I'm in love with her?"

"It's up to you, if it makes you comfortable and to get to know her better."

"alright. Now you can go."

Joshua then sat down behind his desk and opened the envelope Rosalind had given him. The contents of the letter almost gave Joshua a heart attack. [ ]
