Love statement

Phillippa walked out of the room with a blank look. Drop by drop of tears soaked his face. Why did this disease choose him? He remembered the doctor's words.

"Acute leukemia. You may not survive until next year. For treatment should be chemotherapy."

Both of his hands were still trembling holding the results of his health examination. He wiped his tears and he walked home with his body bent. At home Phillippa daydreamed a lot and did not touch his food at all. Rosalind who saw him became anxious. What's more lately Phillippa's state is very pale and looks sick.

"Is the lady okay?"

"I. I actually. It's not okay."

"What do you mean, miss?"

Phillippa handed Rosalind a doctor's examination. The old woman choked while closing her mouth. Breath restrained.

"It's..."

Phillippa nodded.

"Miss will surely recover" said Rosalind, then hugged Phillippa.

"Don't say this to anyone including Angelica. I don't want to make him anxious."

"alright. Miss."

Phillippa ended up crying in Rosalind's arms.

The concert day arrived. Phillippa was determined to do his best, as this might just be the last time he would do a piano concert. A single tear fell back. He was in the dressing room backstage. Blood came out of his nose again. Rosalind who accompanied him looked anxious.

"I'll be fine" said Phillippa trying to appease Rosalind. Even so Rosalind still felt anxious. In a few minutes the concert will begin. His body began to tremble with pain in all the joints of his body. It was time to get out of the chair and go to the stage.

Joshua sat glued to his chair. He was so stunned to see and hear Phillippa's piano playing. All the spectators were silent and holding their breath. No one knows, Phillippa is currently holding back the pain in his body, but he has to stay until everything is done. Applause began to break. The piano concert is over. Phillippa tried to put on a happy face to the audience. After he was backstage, Phillippa sat on the sofa grimacing in pain. Rosalind immediately gave the medicine so that Phillippa did not feel pain anymore.

"Take this medicine!"Rosalind.

Phillippa took the medicine with trembling hands and drank aided by Rosalind. He felt better after taking his medicine. The knock on the door surprised them. Angelica appeared behind the door while carrying flowers for him.

"So your pianom game was great. The audience loved it. You're so great. Congratulations to you!"

"Thank you Angelica."

"You're very pale. Are you all right?"tanyanya.

"I'm doing fine. I'm just tired."

"After this you must rest, for this past week you have been lacking rest."

The door was heard again. Joshua came with a smiling face. Phillippa was surprised by his arrival. He stood up straight.

"Mr Waldgrave."

"I came here to congratulate you. It's not wrong I told you to replace Barbara. You've done your best, because of you, this concert for charity went on successfully."

"I'm glad I could do it. It was my first experience doing it in front of a crowd. Anyway, maybe I won't be able to do it again."

"What do you mean?"

"Ah it's okay."

Rosalind and Angelica left the room without being told to.

"What do you want to talk to me about?"

"I.me."

Joshua let out a long breath. He did not expect it to be this difficult to express love. The words he had composed were lost somewhere. Back when he expressed love to Genevieve was not as difficult as now maybe they had known each other for a long time, but with Phillippa he had not known her for so long. I don't know if it has anything to do or not.

"Mr Waldgrave, what's wrong?"

There's a feeling of fear, if Joshua is playing with his feelings like Tristan used to. But Phillippa is so happy that Joshua loves her and would be happy to accept her love, if only she was not sick that she might leave this world for good. Her tears pushed out.

"I can't accept your feelings."

Joshua was shocked by Phillippa's refusal."But why?"joshua did not understand.

"I can't, anyway. I don't deserve you."

"Why did you say that?"

"Because I'm not beautiful. My face is deformed."

"What because of that? But to me you are a beautiful woman. Good heart. I don't care about the blemish on your face."

Joshua was about to touch Phillippa's face, but the girl immediately dodged. Joshua's gaze turned mellow.

"Please go!"

Joshua left feeling disappointed, before leaving he caught a glimpse of Phillippa looking at him with a sad face. I want Joshua to pull him in the arms. After the man left, Phillippa could not hold back her tears anymore.

Since Joshua's love statement one week ago, neither Joshua nor Phillippa have contacted each other. Unbeknownst to anyone Phillippa is doing treatment of his disease. He has been in hospital for a week. Angelica finally knew Phillippa's disease, after seeing the girl always groaning in pain. Phillippa could not cover up his illness anymore.

"Why are you keeping all this a secret to me?"

"I'm sorry. I don't want to worry you."

Angelica cries while hugging Phillippa. "You'll be healed. Everything's gonna be okay."

Angelica let go of her embrace. "We're gonna face this together. Don't give up on your illness, Philly."

Now this is where Angelica always accompanied Phillippa while in the hospital. Doctors eventually allowed Phillippa to go home after the girl's condition improved. It allows for outpatient.

Meanwhile, Joshua was restless in his office, and he had not done any of his work and it made Sandra upset. Joshua misses Phillippa so much that he hasn't heard from her for a week. Every message he sends is always not answered and his phone calls are always not answered.

With no other choice, Joshua decides to come to his house. He didn't care if Philllippa kicked him out of the house. [ ]
