Meet Nicole

Phillippa woke up and looked around. The room was white and smelled of medicine. In one of his hands was an infusion. He realized that he was in the hospital room. Philippa remembered she was unconscious when she was going to dinner at her house. No matter how long he was unconscious, he did not know.

"Phillippa."

The deg! His heart was pounding, upon recognizing the voice. Joshua now appeared beside his bed with a faint, anxious, and tired look.

"Why are you here?"

"Rosalind told me everything about your situation."

"Go!"

Joshua shook his head, then he hugged Phillippa and lowered his head on the girl's shoulder.

"I'm thrilled. You're up."

Phillippa felt a warm liquid on her shoulder.

"I want to be by your side no matter where you are."

Joshua let go of his embrace and quickly wiped away his tears.

"Let me stay here!"

"Mr Waldgrave. I'm..."

"Call me Joshua!"

"Joshua," said Phillippa timidly.

Joshua got out of his chair and he took something from the table and gave it to Phillippa.

"This is for you."

Phillippa's eyes were round in surprise."Here," he said holding the red tulip that Joshua had given him.

"I'm the one who always gives you red tulips."

Phillippa looked at Joshua for a moment. He doesn't believe Joshua is his secret fan.

"I've always wanted to meet my secret fans and now my wish is realized. Thank you for supporting me all this time."

Phillippa shed her tears. Joshua stroked the girl's cheek gently, then wiped away her tears.

"Receive my feelings!"

"You must know my illness. One day I could leave you forever."

Joshua shook his head." You'll stay here with me and you won't go anywhere. You'll be cured soon."

"But..."

Joshua silenced Phillippa's mouth with a kiss before the girl continued her words.The girl felt helpless . His eyes closed, tears coming out.

Joshua and Rosalind heard the doctor's explanation to immediately perform spinal cord surgery. Phillippa's chances of recovery are only 40% and that makes Joshua's chest even more painful.

"I will bring the pedonor here soon" Joshua said.

"alright. You'd better get him here as soon as possible" said the doctor.

Joshua and Rosalind out of the room .

"good. Mr. Waldgrave."

Joshua rushed out of the hospital and he collided with Angelica who had just come in with an anxious face. He was surprised to see Joshua, but Joshua only greeted him for a moment, then left again.

In prison, Joshua sits waiting for Nicole to be delivered to him by one of the prison officials. She did not like Joshua's arrival. They sat face to face only limited by a glass barrier.

"Do you want to come see me?"ketus tanyanya.

"Phillippa is sick. He needs your help."

Nicole smiled broadly. "That's great. I hope he dies soon."

Joshua furious. Jaw tightens.

"Phillippa has leukemia and I want you to donate spinal cord to her."

"I don't want to," Nicole's thesis." Let the boy die. I don't care."

"You must be willing if you don't want to lose your child forever" Joshua said with glittering eyes.

Nicole leaned her body."Whatchu mean?"

Joshua took a long breath. He is forced to reveal the secret of Phillippa's identity to Nicole.

"Phillippa is your son not Genevieve's son."

Nicole shook her head quickly. His eyes were red and teary.The sight of his eyes was blurred by tears that were about to come out. The truth Joshua revealed hit him.

"That's not true. My son died when he was born."

"No. Your son is alive. Your parents traded the dead Genevieve child for your son."

"You lied," she shouted.

Joshua then handed a letter from Genevieve to Nicole before going to Joshua's prison to stop by his office to take the letter.

"This is impossible. I can't believe it. Why are they doing this to me?"

"Maybe they don't want Phillippa taken care of by you."

Nicole was crying.

"I hope you'll help Phillippa."

Joshua got out of his chair and left Nicole still crying.

When Joshua arrived, Phillippa was still asleep like the last she left him to meet Nicole. Rosalind takes him out of the room and leaves Phillippa with Angelica.

"How's it?"

"At first Nicole refused, but after I told her that Phillippa was her son, she didn't believe it. I hope he'll help Phillippa he's Phillippa's only hope of recovery."

"We can only wait. Miss Phillippa's condition is also getting worse and worse."

They went back to the room. Rosalind invites Angelica to eat out and leaves Joshua alone with Phillippa. Joshua decided to do all his work in the hospital while accompanying Phillippa. At midnight, he heard a groan from Phillippa's mouth. The girl was cringing in pain. Joshua immediately inspired him and clasped Phillippa's hand with an anxious look.

The groan of pain grew even more until the girl curled her body. Joshua was panicking. Quickly he pressed the emergency button. It was not long before doctors and nurses came to check on him. Joshua's mind was increasingly tormented to see Phillippa who was always in pain. Phillippa is better. The girl was already feeling calm and not in pain anymore after being given the medicine. Joshua breathed a sigh of relief.

After the doctor left, Joshua sat back by the bed looking at his lover who was lying weak and pale. Joshua stroked her cheek gently. Unimaginable, if he had to live without her. He also decided to do something. Joshua moved out of his chair and left the room. [ ]
