Chapters. 34

Today Jinan plans to go to her restaurant with baby Ayla, Ria and Elena. Just as he was wearing his shirt, suddenly his phone on the nightstand vibrated, which indicated a message coming in. Jinan ignored the incoming message because he thought it was a message from Elena who wanted to tell him that the woman was already on the way.

An hour had Jinan waiting with Ria at the dinner table, but Elena did not even see the trunk of her nose. Feeling too long, Jinan finally grabbed her phone in the nightstand to call Elena. As he opened his phone, Jinan noticed that there was one incoming message he had not read. Jinan frowned when she learned that the incoming message was from Romi, her ex-husband. 

"Ngapain mas Romi sent me a message? Tumben once, usually also 'kan my message was never reciprocated," muttered Jinan softly.

Out of curiosity, Jinan finally opened the message.

"Jinan, Asalamualaikum. You how are you? Can you send us a picture of our son. I want to see his face now."

Jinan was surprised to see the contents of the message from Romi. Romi wants to see his son's face? Does that mean Romi wants to accept the presence of his son? Jinan smiled faintly, eventually his son would not lose the figure of a father, although the father would not always be there beside him at all times.

Just as Jinan was about to reply to the message, Jinan suddenly stopped the movement of his hand. 

"Didn't I promise to send baby Ayla's picture to Romi's mas every two months?" inner Jinan.

After thinking about it for a while, Jinan finally undoes his intention to reply to a message from Romi. Now he's back to his original goal of contacting Elena.

One first call had no answer from Elena. When Jinan called a second time, Elena finally answered her call.

"Assalamu'alaikum, El."

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. Ji, are you ready?" elena asked with a breath of excitement.

"It was an hour ago. Where are you, El? Why does your breath sound so bad?" ask Jinan.

"I'm on the way, Ji. My car suddenly ran out of gas, so I had to push my car to the gas station" Elena said.

"Geez, why did you forget the gas, El? Then who are you pushing the car with?"

"My car was borrowed last night by my friend. When I wanted to use this morning, it turned out that the gasoline ran out. And now I'm asking for help from my friend whose house is around here to help me push the car, Ji."

"That's weird. So where are you now? Do you need any help?" ask Jinan.

"No. The gas station's close, you wait at home, in about an hour I'll get there."

"alright. Careful, don't speed. Assalamu'alaikum."

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

Jinan broke off the call after Elena returned her greetings. Jinan put her phone back on the nightstand, then she approached the still-well baby Ayla on her bed. After Jinan briefly kissed Ayla's baby forehead, she returned to the dinner table to wait for Elena while eating the snack that Ria had bought last night.

Not long ago Jinan sat down, suddenly his door was knocked from the outside. Jinan looked at Ria for a moment, then Ria got up from her seat to see who was out there knocking on her door. Just as Ria had just turned around, suddenly her hand from behind was pulled by Jinan.

"P4ntatmu all red, Ri. You came by the moon?" ask Jinan while pointing to ****4* Ria.

"Huh?" Ria felt her back pants, she was surprised when she saw that there was a blood stain on her hand. "Gosh, it looks like I'm coming to the moon, brother. Yaudah, I clean up first. Brother please open the door. If that's Elena's sister, tell her to wait a minute."

After Ria left from before her, Jinan got up from her seat to open the door.

Kink ... Kink ...

"Yes, wait a minute" Jinan said as he sped up his path.

As Jinan opened the door, he was surprised to see Rico standing at the door with a slightly messy appearance. "Rico," murmured Jinan. Jinan's eyes looked back at Rico to find the figure he had been waiting for.

"Why are you here? Where's Elena?" ask Jinan awkwardly.

"Em, I didn't come with Elena. I'm here because I want to talk to you, Ji."

"Ah? Ma ... what do you want to say?" jinan asked a little nervously.

"I want to apologize to you, Ji. I swear, I don't know anything about what Mr. Octav did to you."

"Em, yes I have forgiven you, Co," Jinan replied softly.

"Can we be friends like we used to be, Ji? I can't if we're awkward going on like this" Rico said, holding his head.

"Sorry Co, I can't seem to be close friends with you anymore. You know that I'm a one-child widow. No one can protect me and my son from any kind of evil other than myself, Co." Jinan paused his words for a moment. "I'm sure that Ria and Elena must have told you a little bit about my life. I just want to live a quiet life, Co. I hope you understand my current condition."

"You don't have to worry about Ji, I'll make sure you and baby Ayla are always safe. If you need a husband to protect you and your son, I'm ready to be your husband."

"Ji" cried Rico. "I'm .. I like you."

Jinan shook his head.

"Jy." Jn."

"Enough, Co. I've forgiven you, you better get out of here. Ria and I will be leaving soon, too" Jinan said. Jinan turned around and was about to close the door of his house, but Rico quickly held the door shut.

"Ji, I'm serious about what I say. I like you, Ji. I like you. I love you, Jinan."

"Co, you don't joke. We are like brothers. There will be no such thing as love between us" Jinan said, trying to close the door.

"We're not brothers, Ji. We are two people who are far from our word. I love you, and that's a natural thing."

"Take it off, Co." Jinan did not respond to Rico's remarks, he continued to try to close the door to his house that Rico was still holding. Even Rico had already started pushing the door of his rum and was trying to get in.

The door that Rico pushed through managed to make the door open wide. Ria who was inside the bathroom at that time was surprised to hear the sound of door breaking from the outside.

"Sir Jinan, what's wrong?" ria shouted from inside the bathroom.

"Ri, get out now," cried Jinan. He was already starting to panic when Rico started walking slowly towards him.

"What's up, brother? I wash my panties again. Wait a minute" said Ria.

Jinan no longer responded to Ria's remarks, he now only focused on Rico who looks strange today.

"Co, out. It's not good if a man walks into a foreign woman's house without her permission."

"You said we were brothers, but now you say we're strangers. Which one is right, Jinan?" asked Rico by continuing to walk over to Jinan.

Jinan's body had already hit the door of her room, but Rico was still walking forward towards her, and it frightened Jinan even more.

"Co, what do you want? Stay away from me, Co."

"Why, Jinan? Why are you scared like this?" asked Rico with a faint smile.

"Rico, what's wrong with you? Go Co, don't be like this. Please."

"Why, Ji?"

"Co, are you drunk?" jinan asked as she covered her nose with her right hand as she smelled the scent of Rico's mouth that was now getting closer to her.

"No," said Rico slowly. Rico continued walking closer to Jinan.

"God. Ria!" jinan shouted as Rico managed to lock her body between the bedroom door and Rico's body. Just as Jinan was about to open the door of the room, suddenly his hand was held back by Rico.

"Astaghfiullah!" pekik Jinan was shocked. "Co, please. Don't be like this." Jinan is increasingly frightened by Rico's different attitude than usual.

"Rico, release. Azaghfirullah O Allah" exclaimed Jinan with a sobbing of tears. He tried to let go of his hand which was held by Rico, but unfortunately the grip was so tight.

Just as Rico was about to bring his face closer to Jinan's face, suddenly a man's scream from behind shocked the two of them.

"B4job!"

Rico and Jinan turned to the origin of the voice, and ...

Buugg !!!

One punch right hit Rico's handsome face.
