The Journey of Jinan

The Journey of Jinan
Chapters. 104

After finishing the morning prayers, Ardo was about to prepare to go to Linda's residence. He still has to take care of some unfinished things.

Before leaving the house, do not forget Ardo kissed his two children who were still sleeping first to say goodbye. "Papa go first, dear."

Ardo came out of the room. In the living room, Jinan was preparing breakfast for her.

"Eat a little. Do not go out on an empty stomach" Jinan reminded.

Ardo nodded and immediately sat his body on the dining table. Four strands of fresh bread, Ardo's favorite chocolate jam, and two cups of unsalted tea are available in front of him. Ardo soon spent two loaves of bread in a short time, not forgetting the tea he spent so as not to disappoint the wife who had struggled to prepare the dish for him.

"It's 6 o'clock, I'm leaving now yeah, honey."

Jinan put down her unsalted bread, and stood up to take her husband forward.

"Recycle your breakfast. I can go alone."

"I'll take you forward."

Ardo sighed while smiling. "alright. Come on."

Jinan drove Ardo up to the porch. There is already a black sedan car that has been brought by Ardo's men who have come to Indo with them.

"Don't go alone. I told aunt Sila and uncle Dedy to accompany you to the funeral home. They'll pick you up around nine. Andy leave it to Ria, later Ria will follow there to accompany you after her parents come home."

Jinan nodded. "Don't fight anymore. From now on you have to be patient."

"I promise" said Ardo with a serious face. "Yeah, I'm leaving first, yeah. Be careful as long as I'm not around."

Ardo kissed Jinan's forehead for a few seconds. "Assalamu'alaikum."

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

...

Arriving at Linda's residence, it turns out that some of Linda and Putra's relatives who live in the same city with them are already there. Ardo joins the others and begins to take care of everything about the funeral with one of the middle-aged men of the grief family.

When everything is done and may1t is ready to be bathed, Ardo suddenly asks Linda to delay the process. He asks that they wait for Jinan and Ayla to come first so that Ayla can hug her father for the first and last time. And fortunately Linda agreed because she also wanted her granddaughter to know who her real father was, even though it was actually too late.

...

Along the way to Linda's residence, Jinan continued to clasp her cold sweaty hands. He was afraid to meet the family in such a situation. He still thinks that everything that is happening right now is his fault.

"Calm down, Jinan. You're not wrong, don't be afraid" exclaimed Sila as she looked at the nervousness in Jinan's face through the rearview in the car.

Jinan tried to smile. "Yes, Mi."

Jinan sighed repeatedly, hoping that his nervousness would soon disappear. But until they arrived at the funeral home, the nervousness that Jinan felt before slowly faded, now re-emerged and even now more powerful than before.

With Sila, Jinan walked slowly into the house. It saw Linda and Aurel sitting next to Jen4zah immediately approaching the two women. Linda welcomes Jinan's arrival, but a sense of guilt leads Jinan to shed her tears at Linda by saying an apology repeatedly.

"Where's Ayla? Ardo says Ayla came here too," asked Linda to turn her back so Jinan wouldn't keep crying.

"He's the same husband outside. I'll call you for a minute" said Sila, who asked Linda.

As soon as she went, Linda rubbed Jinan's back to calm her down. "Here you go, don't cry anymore. Ayla will be sad to see her mother cry like this."

"One more time Jinan apologizes, Auntie. The arrival of Jinan and Jinan's husband here is really not the slightest intention to make the situation chaotic as it is now."

Linda just smiled back at Jinan's words.

"Just wipe your tears. That's Ayla's already here," Linda pointed at Ayla who had just entered the house with Sila.

Jinan wiped her tears when she saw that Ayla had already arrived there.

At first Ayla did not recognize Linda, but after being reminded and reintroduced by Jinan, then the little girl called Linda as an oma.

"Ayla, Honey. Ayla see who's sleeping there?" linda asked Ayla by pointing towards the lifeless Romi.

"That's Ayla's father. Romi's father" he said after Ayla nodded her head.

Ayla was confused by Linda's words. The little girl did not seem to understand what Linda was saying. But when Sila said that Ayla has two fathers, of which 2 are Ardo and Romi, then Ayla began to understand. He understood that he had 2 fathers, just as he had four oma men at once.

"Dad."

Linda smiled when the granddaughter called Romi father. He takes Ayla to approach and hug Romi for the last time. It feels like a dream. It was like dreaming of seeing his dream son, grandson, and son-in-law by his side right now after such a long time.

On the other hand, he was sad too. He was sad because this moment happened when everything was gone. Everything is gone and left alone.

"Why? Why are you doing this to me" Linda said in her heart.

Because Ayla has managed to meet her father and time has also shown almost ten o'clock, now the jen4zah will soon be bathed so that it can be buried.

...

After the funeral was over, Linda stayed in her room alone. No one was allowed to enter even if it was Jinan or Ayla. She looks different now than she did a few minutes ago. He had now turned quiet in a short time. I don't know what he's thinking, only he knows.

In the living room, Jinan is seen chatting with Aurel while watching their children who are playing with Ria in the corner of the room. While Sila and Dedy, they have come home from a few hours ago because they have to change places with Ria to keep Andy. Ria won't be able to keep Andy so long alone.

"I'm sorry for messing up your marriage" Aurel said after they made small talk a few minutes ago.

Jinan smiled stiffly. "I should be the one apologizing, Ma'am. Because of my presence, all these problems happened" said Jinan who still blames himself for the current events.

"I don't know if I should be happy or sad." Aurel stared in just any direction. "Because if none of this happened, I could never learn to be a better woman again. Although I am saddened by this incident, but I am sure, the rainbow will always come after the rain has subsided. Even if it's a rainstorm."

Jinan simply smiled in response to Aurel's words.

"Dear."

Jinan and Aurel stare at the origin of the sound, where it comes from Ardo calling Jinan. Ardo greeted Aurel by nodding his head and flat face, then he turned his gaze to Jinan.

"What's wrong?" jinan asked as she approached her husband.

"Is Madam Linda here yet to be found?"

Jinan shook his head. "I'm samperin again?"

"No need, maybe he needs a break. You and Ayla go home first, I'll be home soon too. Later that night we come again here to join tahlilan, who knows when Madam Linda already wanted to be met."

"alright. Just a minute."

Jinan approached Aurel for a moment. "Sir, I say yes. God willing, I'll be here again tonight. You're here long?"

"I'll stay here until Mama Linda calms down."

Jinan nodded her head. It's good that Aurel stayed here, at least the middle-aged woman was there to accompany him for the next few days.
