The Inauthentic Billionaire Princess

The Inauthentic Billionaire Princess
Chapter 20

"Ethan called, she said she couldn't come to dinner tonight, Charlotte announced at the dinner table, just as I was sitting down.

"Pity, he worked so hard. He should take a break once in a while" commented Mr. Jenson.

Oh, please, I thought. If only you knew the reason for his absence, then you would retract your statement that he worked hard. She might be having sex with Heather or C. arissa or anyone she's dating.

I saw the servants putting our plates in front of us and preparing to serve us.

I squinted my eyes at the fish curry. Or maybe she was thrusting her little baby sticks into unwanted places.

I made an expression of disgust, my mind filled with unholy images, which were clearly not needed at the dinner table.

That's the problem with the rich. They act as if they own the world, as if they can get whatever they want with the money they have. They acted so arrogant and haughty that it made me sick of it. They have absolutely no mercy for those less fortunate. I doubt they even know what love, caring, and- mean

"Juliet," I woke up from my daydream when Mrs' voice came. Jenson broke my daydream.

"Eh... I'm sorry, what?" I blinked towards him.

"I told you not to glare at food as if it was poisonous because it wasn't" he said, holding a fork in his hand. Mr. Jenson and Olivia turned to look at me.

"Ehm. I just thought," I said, shaking my head to dispel that thought.

We had dinner early with a wide variety of delicious seafood where we were free to choose the food we wanted at will. After a delicious dinner, ma'am. Jenson and Mr. Jenson went to prepare for their flight.

At about nine, both were ready to leave. They said heartwarming farewells and statements of love to me and I almost cried in front of them. After a promise to return as soon as possible and millions of kisses on my cheeks and forehead, they left in their car, which was to be brought back home by the driver.

I felt a little intimidated for living in a big house with Olivia. Of course, there's Ethan too, but that just seems to make things worse and not to mention his lewd best friend. I just hope that his business will keep him busy enough to prevent any interaction between us. As long as that happens, we'll be fine.

As soon as my old man's car disappeared from the heavy iron gate in the mansion, my face grinned nervously.

"I'll take the fridge down!" Olivia announced excitedly. "It's full!" He said, while running out of my sight in an instant.

Within five minutes, we were completely wild. Olivia was wearing a party dress she loved so much from my closet with thick makeup on her face, while I was just wearing pajamas. There was no one around us and the servants disappeared mysteriously like they did every night. We had a little party in my room, skipping on the bed like on a trampoline. Olivia's favorite loud music comes from the speakers and Olivia gets a little drunk because of the four beers she drinks.

"We may have to shrink his voice a little!" I suggested, while yelling at him because of the deafening music.

"Are you kidding me?!" He screamed back, almost losing his balance. "There's no way we're gonna lower his voice!" He giggled, dancing wildly to the beat of the music.

I shake my head at him. Truly a party animal.

We, more precisely Olivia partied until the early hours of the morning. I didn't even notice when we fell asleep in my bedroom. I didn't realize when the music - that's if we could call it screaming and shrill music - stopped. I just remember that I was a little drunk from drinking with Olivia and fell asleep right after the second glass.

But I can never forget how we woke up.

It was a peaceful silence and I was half asleep, still quite aware of the surroundings. The silence slowly lulled me back to dreamland. Then out of nowhere the silence was gone and something very loud started to sound from somewhere near me. I almost had a small heart attack. It felt like someone was hitting my ears with a hammer like they were playing a drum. My eyes widened and I rolled to the side, not so remembering my awkward position on the bed and half hanging on the edge of the bed. I fell onto the carpeted floor, landing right on my left arm which was very painful. My head feels like it's going to explode.

With narrowed eyes, I scanned the room to look for the source of the commotion. My eyes were fixed on Luvaglio's very expensive laptop, which was playing the song I recognized as Shots by LMFAO at the loudest volume possible.

I stumbled towards the laptop, horrified to hear how loud the song was. This song will definitely be at the top of the songs I dislike the most.

I tried to keep my laptop quiet, which took me quite a long time in my sleeping condition. I breathed a sigh of relief as the laptop calmed down again. Looking back at Olivia, I was stunned to see she was still sleeping soundly, looking unperturbed by the disturbance. I wish I was a person who slept well.

I felt too lazy to get up, so I just lay there and kept staring at the beautiful ceiling.

"What are you doing on the floor?" Olivia's muffled voice asked about five to ten minutes later.

"Nothing" I replied, deciding that I should wake up.

"I see you have a good start in the morning" Ethan comments as I enter the kitchen. He was sitting at the breakfast table, sipping a cup of coffee. The steam from his cup swirled over in a beautiful pattern before disappearing into the air. It makes me want to enjoy hot chocolate or coffee.

"It was a foolish thing to do to repay me, you must admit, I replied as I poured a glass of water for me.

Ethan shrugged his shoulders. "That's all I ever thought of when I walked into your room and found you sleeping well, messed up my sleep and I'd mess up your sleep."

I shake my head at him. "How did you get into my room?"

"door's open. I can't help myself. You're basically the one who asked for it."

"I don't know what to say to you," I sighed while drinking water. The water slid down my painfully dry throat. I didn't eat or drink anything after those two beers. And after a bad start in my morning, my head was throbbing

We just sat there in silence, staring at each other before I broke eye contact to drink my water again. Ethan was checking his phone that vibrated every two minutes. He was wearing a simple red T-shirt with dark blue jeans. Her hair was a little wet so I assumed she had just taken a shower.

Olivia was upstairs in her room, taking a shower and trying not to look like a drunk teenager with raccoon eyes.

After about five minutes, Ethan wordlessly got up and came out of the kitchen after putting his empty coffee cup in the sink. A waiter who was cleaning the kitchen calmly cleaned the cup before letting it dry.

"Do you want something, Miss. Jenson?" He asked me. "Breakfast, maybe?"

"Oh, no. I'll have breakfast after I get ready." I answered. "And by the way, do you know when the cook came? Like around noon or something?"

"They can come anytime you want. When do you need them?"

"I'll tell you. Tomorrow maybe. I just need them for an hour or two, I hope they don't mind, right?" I asked, an idea came to my mind. I am free all day and rather than wasting time enjoying the luxuries of an underserved billionaire lifestyle, I will try to do something productive that will hopefully come in handy in the future once I leave this place.

"No, I assure you it will be fine with them," replied the waiter and I nodded at him.

"Thank you."
