The Inauthentic Billionaire Princess

The Inauthentic Billionaire Princess
Chapter 13

In times of fear, man does the first thing his mind commands. Well, in my case, I did the second thing my mind ordered. The first thing I was told was to scream. But the second thing he said to me, and what I really did, was too crazy. But it's true.

I decided to attack the intruder.

Quickly, I snapped out of bed, feeling the intruder's arm fall free from my waist. Before he could react, I swung my leg to his waist so I was in a straddle position with him, which I didn't really think about, and grabbed the pillow I used to lean my head on. I lifted it over my head before smashing it in his face. I heard him take a deep breath. I don't really know what I'm doing. I pressed a pillow against his face, which was an attempt to kill him, but I didn't care, because I only thought about my safety. He, whoever he is, has entered my room. And that too in the middle of the night!

Instantly, two large arms darted forward of me, clutching my wrist before pushing me right, which caused me to lose balance towards him. I squealed as I fell on the bed, right next to her. The next thing I know, he's the one hovering above me, in the same straddle position I did with him a moment ago. My cheeks are blushing hearing it.

He held my hand on the bed, pinning it on both sides of my head. He lowered his head towards my face to see more clearly.

"Who are you?!" We screamed at the same time. I thrashed underneath him as he just stared at me. I couldn't see his face because it was dark and I'm sure he couldn't see me either, but his voice sounded very familiar.

"Please! Helpme! Someone please, help me," my words were quickly muffled as he slammed his hand into my mouth, effectively silencing me.

"Shut up."

I didn't listen to him. I was too scared and panicked because there was a stranger in my room at midnight. I was just trying to get up, punch her in the chest, which was naked, I noticed, which only made me panic even more. Strangers naked in my room at midnight?!

"Let go of me, you bastard," I groaned as I thrashed violently beneath him, trying to make him lose his balance, and he actually did. He fell out of bed. Unfortunately for me, he still gripped me firmly and he ended up pulling me down with him.

I bark while waiting for the impact of my fall. I heard a loud groan as I felt myself landing on something not as hard and cold as the floor. Fortunately, I landed gently but what I did not like the most, I landed on top of the stranger.

I stood up straight away. Seeing that the figure was still lying on the floor groaning in pain, I kicked him between his legs to render him powerless so that he would not try to escape.

He screamed in pain, holding onto the painful part.

Without waiting for anything, I ran towards the door, breaking into it, only to meet the surprised and shocked Madame Jenson and the sleepy but wide-eyed Olivia.

"Oh my God, Juliet! What did I hear in your room? Are you all right?" He asked, worried.

"M-mom! There's a man in my room." I said immediately, looking at the door of my room, still surprised.

"What?!" Olivia's mouth gaped. "So did anyone enter the house? We should call the police."

"Wait." Madame Jenson ran into the room just as the lights were on and I followed her, trying to stop her from attacking her again.

As I entered my room, I gasped when I saw Ethan leaning against the wall.

"Ethan?! What are you doing here?" Madam Jenson asked as she rushed up to him to help him walk.

"You!" Olivia pointed at him while walking towards him, her eyes filled with anger, her sleep had long since come out of the window. "What are you doing here?" He screamed before raising his clenched hand to punch him.

I held him back, too confused and feeling a little sorry for Ethan. I feel like this is a mistake. I mean, she hates me so much, so why would she try to get close to me.

"I should have asked for it." Ethan snorted, pointing a finger at me.

"You're the one who slept next to me and got me stuck under you." I scorned.

"I think it's a pillow!" He defended himself weakly. "I have a habit of cuddling with a pillow while sleeping."

"Why are you in my room?" I demand.

"That's what I should have asked you. WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM?!" She's boiling.

"This is my room!"

"No! It's my room!"

"Oh! Shut up, you fool! Look around," I spit.

He seemed to be really listening to me this time, as he looked around the pink room.

"B-but how could I-I mean, Mrs Jenson said my new room was on the fifth floor of this mansion, and the first room on the left," she said, puzzled.

We all looked at Mrs. Jensen. He let out a nervous little laugh while tucking a strand of hair behind his ear.

"Oh, I said that? Well, I must be half asleep or negligent. I'm sorry for the confusion. Ethan, your room is on the right" he said as he walked out of my room and opened the door to the other room opposite my room.

"This is your room, Ethan. It used to be Antonio's room, but since he lived in Chicago with his girlfriend, I gave it to you. Don't worry, everything has been cleaned well and I'm sure you'll be happy to stay here" he said. "Now, excuse me. I have to go to bed. Good night, everybody! And forget what happened today. It was just a small misunderstanding," he said, before walking down towards his room. We looked towards him.

Olivia was the first to speak up. "Um. good night," said Olivia shyly, which made Ethan just look at her with a bored look, which Olivia later ignored. He also walked to his room.

"Alright, you can also leave," I said, in a cynical tone as I pointed to the door of my room.

But is he listening to me? No, of course not. After all, he is Ethan Evans. Child poster of immaturity. Instead, he took a slow step towards me.

"I'm sure it's not the way to the door" I said, stepping back as he stepped too close. I started to retreat as he quickly reduced the distance between us.

It was only when my back hit the wall that I realized he was very close to me, only a few inches away. I could already hear my heart rumbling in my chest. He was too close for comfort.

He raised both of his arms, placed them on the wall behind me, effectively trapping me.

That's when I noticed his face. He's very handsome. I have to admit that. He had dark brown eyes that were thick, almost black. Her eyelashes were so long that I could do nothing but just stare at her face. He had a long pointed nose and plump and pink lips, looking soft. He has a little beard that needs to be shaved because he looks neater when shaved clean. A few strands of his black hair fell in his eyes. They looked soft and smooth and I almost touched them to feel if they were as gentle as they looked.

"It's not over yet" he hissed fiercely which made me gulp.

"I already know," I murmured.

"Good, because you're going to pay for what you did to me today" he said, with my eyes fixed on his jeans. I hope I didn't hurt him that badly.

"You will die" he said before turning away. All right, errat, I hope I didn't hurt him very badly.

He turned around, picking up his gray shirt halfway through, while I watched his back as he backed out of my room.

Breakfast was awkward, to say the least. On the way to the dining room, I met Ethan. What a great way to start the day!

And to think that he would ignore me for the best. But no, he couldn't just pass by, as if I wasn't standing right in front of him. He has to do something!

He tried to stumble upon me. Like how could a twenty-three-year-old billionaire be immature? And all because of a foolish and childish feud with his childhood enemies. And it's not my fault that she and Juliet are mortal enemies!

I glared at him with a sharp gaze while he walked ahead of me, looking arrogant. Maybe I should kick his stick one more time. It would probably restore his brain from where he was inside his knee.

And to my annoyance, he sat right next to me at breakfast. Thank goodness he did not do anything further or I would definitely flip the lid of the pot and throw the frying pan at him who was in front of me. Even though he had a chance to drink water from my glass, which I immediately took back and looked at him with disdain.

Mrs Jenson, whose name is Charlotte, as I know from Olivia is a busy woman. He was going to look around at the goods in his clothing store. Something happened and he had to leave. He told me that my father had gone to his office. According to Olivia, she owns a multibillion-dollar company.

That means we have that big house to ourselves! That's if Ethan decides to leave too. I riled as I felt a waffle hit my cheek. I glared at the man next to me who was just laughing a little and went back to eating his food.

I decided to ignore it. He is not worthy of my attention and hopefully he will stop being childish if he knows that he will not get a comforting reaction from me.

I immediately finished my breakfast and left it at the table, feeding its mouth with food while reading the newspaper.

I found Olivia in the library. I stepped into book heaven and she looked up from the books and smiled at me.

"Julie, look at these books!" She screamed like a little girl.

"I knew. It feels like all the books in the world are here."

"And most of them are my favorites!" He said as he began to organize the books he had taken in order, refusing the help of the maid. I sat down beside him, helping him compile the books according to his height.

We spent about two hours in the library. That's delightful. I love spending time with Olivia. He's funny and nice, my friend.

As we walked down, we heard voices. Those voices must be male voices. When we entered the living room, I saw Ethan. He was wearing dark jeans and a light blue shirt. Beside him was another man. He also wears casual clothes. They're talking about something. The moment we entered the room, her beautiful blue eyes circulated a gaze towards us before finally turning to Olivia.

"Who's that hot girl next to Juliet?" Those were the first words that came out of his mouth, whispered to Ethan, but we heard them and I frowned. Of course, I didn't expect his friend to be any different. He also looks like a jerk.

"I'm here, you know," replied Olivia, crossing her arms under her chest causing the man's eyes to be fixed on her chest. "And I don't think my eyes are on my chest, do I?"

The man smiled and extended his hand. "I'm sorry. I'm Tristan."

Reluctantly, Olivia shook her hand. "Olivia." He said briefly.

He frowned. "I'm really sorry if I offended you." Olivia did not answer, choosing to ignore her.

"Tristan, maybe we should leave now," Ethan interrupts, clearly realizing that Olivia is not impressed with her friend.

"Finally," I murmured.

"We'll be back, don't worry!" Tristan said, clearly failing to realize that they are not really welcome here.

They also left. I am not complaining. I'm really glad they're gone. Now we really have that house to ourselves. And we enjoyed it. We ate lunch and watched Captain America in the cinema with a large bag of popcorn in our lap and there were only the two of us in the cinema.

At about four o'clock in the afternoon, the weather became very hot. Olivia almost sweated a bucket of water even though the air conditioner was fully lit. I suspect the air conditioner is not working well. Summer is really here.

"Let's go to the pool" suggested Olivia suddenly.

"I don't want to go anywhere" whined me as I lay down on one of the sofas in the living room.

"It's so hot in here. Let's go for a swim" said Olivia, fanning herself and putting her hair on her head.

"No," I said, turning around and sticking my face to the couch.

"We can try the new bikini we bought at the mall," he tried to persuade me. And it worked. "All right," I finally gave up. "But only for an hour."

"That's enough, I guess."

We walked into the room to get a bikini.

I wasn't always as aware of my body as I am now. Usually, I have no problem wearing a bikini, although I rarely wear it when Olivia and I go to the beach. I have always been busy with college or work, but now being kidnapped by this billionaire is so intimidating to me that I analyze every action and wonder if it is normal from a billionaire's point of view. I have chosen a light blue bikini that covers most of my skin.

We walked to the swimming pool. Olivia was wearing a black bikini that showed more skin than mine. Olivia has always been the bravest and most beautiful of us. He was always outspoken in his opinion and never depended on anyone. He likes to be independent. I guess that's one of the reasons why we're friends. He likes to be friends with people like him. And my independent self, was the main thing he liked about me and hence, it started a strong and beautiful friendship between us, he said, it is two years old and still going on today.

"I told you riding isn't your forte, man! But you just have to go and challenge me to do my best. And look, you lost the bet," someone chuckled.

"Shut up." Said another voice, which was already very familiar now. "If you want your golden Lamborghini, then shut up. Or you'll never get it."

"Hey! That's not fair. You promised me a golden Lamborghini if you lost a horse race to me." Tristan whined and we heard the sound of water splashing.

"Oh my God!" A scream was heard and we heard more water splashing. "Ethan! Save me! I'm drowning!"

"Stop being excessive. You're just standing in the water, not drowning" Ethan said firmly. We turned the corner and saw Ethan lying in a long chair by the pool, wearing sunglasses that contrasted sharply with his white skin, while Tristan was in the water. Ethan wears red swimsuits and Tristan wears black swimsuits. Both of them were half-naked, showing off their naked bodies.

When they heard us approaching, they turned their heads towards us.

"What are you doing here?" Tristan asked, lowering his curtain so we could see more clearly.

"Swim, duh," replied Olivia.

"Together with us?" He grins. "Definitely fun. Come on!"

Olivia glared at him. "Get out of the pool" he said.

"Um ... no?" He said, it sounds like a question.

"Tristan, get out of the pool. We're not going to swim with you."

At that moment, Ethan got up from the long chair, without even glancing at me, not that I wanted him to look at me or anything. "Look, we're not leaving, okay? You can swim later, or stick with us now" he said.

"Maybe we should come later?" I proposed, and Ethan looked at me.

"No," Olivia stomped her feet against the wet floor. "I'm so hot right now. I want to swim!" He whines childishly.

"Oh, I can see it." Tristan commented while winking at him.

"Shut up, you pervert" he said, but I saw a slight pink hue on his cheek.

"Why is everyone telling me to shut up today?" Tristan said to himself.

"And you two should go. Now too!" She said.

"No, we're not leaving" Ethan said as he dived into the pool.

"Listen, we can have fun" said Tristan, "we can play water."

"Water game?" I repeated. Sounds ominous.

"Yes, it's a game played in a pool with a group of friends" he explained.

"I know what water games mean," I fell silent. "And as information, we're not friends" I added.

"Well then, the water game is a game we play with a group of humans," he said, rolling his eyes.

"I'm not sure if I can call you human" Olivia said. "You are a dog."

"I'm sorry?" Tristan didn't sound angry at all.

"You dog" said Olivia a little louder.

"Yes?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"And you're being a bitch to me right now" he replied.

"What do you call me?" Olivia's voice sounded very low.

"Um .. friends. Calm down," I'm trying to mediate.

"I called you ******. No, actually you're a woman***** Class A," Tristan said. "So, do you and your friend want to play water, ******?"

"Never, with you."

"Fear, Olivia?" He scoffed.

"You're hoping, '" sizzled Olivia.

"So, are we ready to play?" Tristan asked.

"Come on," said Olivia, leaving me no choice but to play with the three idiots.
