Chapter 08: Intercepting a Horde of Robbers 2

"I am an opponent comparable to you! I have wrongly underestimated people apparently," cried the leader of the robbers with fiery murderous lust.

Liu Ying clasped tightly onto his sword, his eyes flushed red implying anger. Fang Yao tried to pull Liu Ying from there but was pushed aside by the girl, she seemed to be unaware of Fang Yao.

"Liu'er, what's wrong with you?!" Feng Yao tried to snatch the sword Liu Ying was holding.

Liu Ying threw Fang Yao's hand away making the man flung a few meters away. Nothing could stop him now, Liu Ying could even kill one robber with a single slash.

The scent of blood fishy became increasingly concentrated, yet Liu Ying was like enjoying it, he even inhaled the scent deeply.

While Jia Li was already unable to fight anymore, the girl's body was dumbfounded to see so much blood around her.

Liu Ying attacked the robber leader without warning, the man was startled but still easily repelled the attack from Liu Ying, as well as counterattacked with only half of his original strength.

The leader of the robbers had a greater ability than his subordinates, he had almost surpassed even the seventh level earth warrior class. "Armghh!!" screeched The robber leader as the sword he was holding fell to the ground.

The man's hand blackened like a burn scar, he immediately jumped several meters back to dodge Liu Ying's next attack.

The man gritted his teeth, "That's a shit! You think you're so great? Basic Iblisss!!"

He picked up the sword of the robber who had been killed from the ground. Although his quality was ordinary, for him it was enough considering his strength was far above Liu Ying.

He let out a full deep power at the sword in his hand and began to swing his hand, Liu Ying began to be overwhelmed to fend off the attack.

Their swords clashing against each other created a whooshing sound that increasingly dominated their battle. Liu Ying was pushed back a few steps to get him cornered and his attack became uncontrollable.

The robber unleashed a crushing attack on Liu Ying's left back and shoulder that sent the girl bouncing away.

Liu Ying coughed rubbing the droplets of blood from the corner of his lips. Meanwhile Fang Yao directly walked over to Liu Ying who seemed to have been severely injured.

Fang Yao held Liu Ying to his feet, Liu Ying held his head and groaned loudly.

"Jia Li, please help me. Take Liu'er with you to a safe place."

Jia Li nodded and immediately brought Liu Ying from Fang Yao away from the battleground, they stepped up limping.

"Don't think you can leave safely, boy!"

Fang Yao again poured his profound energy into the sword in his hand, "If you kill us, then the Golden Lotus Sect will not spare you."

The robber grinned widely scornfully, "If you die, no one will report about your death, let alone the cause."

Fang Yao smiled proudly at the fireworks that shot out and exploded into the sky above them, the fireworks were a sign of asking for help from the Golden Lotus Clan.

Fang Yao had planned this with Jia Li. If the firecracker exploded, then the message must have been delivered, just waiting for some time.

His men rushed after Liu Ying and Jia Li who started to stay away.

"Aiyyo Wei!! Elder Zhou, you hit my wound."

"You deserve!" tukas Zhou Li's. "Where are Liu'er and Jia Li?!"

Fang Yao smilingly extended his hand to Zhou Li, "Chairman Zhou, Papah I was. Are you gonna leave me here? My leg seems to be broken."

Zhou Li had some disciples to tap Fang Yao following Jia Li and Liu Ying.

"They are likely still being pursued by some of the robbers. It seems that they are not too far away from here yet" Fang Yao said softly.

The young man looked pale from losing a lot of blood, but his face was still adorned with a smile as if to convince everyone there that he was fine.

From a distance Liu Ying was being swept away by Jia Li, they were being confronted by some of the robbers earlier, it seemed like they did not know that their leader was dead.

Zhou Li threw his sword at the robber, it had been fed by the power within so that it could soar through the air and kill the robbers in a single slash.

The robbers fell down and died on the spot. Zhou Li immediately approached Liu Ying and Jia Li.
