Chapter 42: The Security Structure

It was already evening, Liu Ying could see that the prison occupants were partially asleep. What's more, they've got a dinner ration that was handed out about half an hour ago.

No one knew except Liu Ying that the bread that had been distributed contained sleeping pills, so that none of them would wake up and minimize the risk of the escaped prisoners.

As usual Liu Ying again did his mainstay trick, biting off half of the bread and keeping it in the mouth. When the guard caught his guard off guard, he spewed out the food carefully until it was no longer left.

"Master's grandmother," Liu Ying called slowly to the old woman who was sleeping beside him.

"Great, did he eat his bread?"

Liu Ying turned to the cell door that had now slipped out of guard, staring at the large padlock attached to the door. Liu Ying thought for a moment about the padlock.

"That's great. It turned out that being locked up in the Hall of Silence had the advantage, my skills grew," Liu Ying muttered to himself.

The girl smiled and immediately pulled a hairpick from her head so that her hair was just smeared out. Liu Ying tried to break into the padlock using the slightly pointed and sharp end of the hairpick, turning it several times carefully.

After getting out of the cell he began to walk through the dark prison hallway and was only lit by torches along his path. Liu Ying was startled when he heard the clattering of steps leading to the place, quickly shrinking behind the other cells.

After feeling safe, Liu Ying resumed his action to trace the place. When he reached the end of the hallway, Liu Ying had to climb a date to go up to the inside of the building.

Once every ten minutes, the patrolling troops would come check on all the prisoners. It had been about forty-five minutes since the first patrol Liu Ying had met, which meant that the next five minutes they would check back every Tuesday.

Liu Ying started trying to open another cell to hide in the next five minutes, he hurriedly opened a random nearby cell. Immediately go in and lay himself down like any other prisoner.

"So I really felt that there was someone sneaking in here" the heavy voice of a man sounded like trying to convince his friend.

"I'm serious" the guard tried to make his comrades believe, but it was only considered a joke.

The guard furrowed his brows as he shook his head softly, he and his companion then passed from the place still with a jest that was clearly heard by Liu Ying.

The girl breathed a sigh of relief. That one was close, fortunately the guards were non-believers.

Liu Ying glanced around, then glued to the two people who also woke up from his sleep.

"Xians? Ziyou?! Why are you here?" cry Liu Ying was restrained and immediately shrank the volume of his voice.

The pair of young people before him looked at Liu Ying with the same gaze, Wei Ziyou looked surprised and very enthusiastic. The girl immediately hugged Liu Ying with pleasure.

Meanwhile, Hu Xian looked not too friendly, he seemed to be a little annoyed to Liu Ying.

"We? We are in search of death with you," Hu Xian's gaze separated Liu Ying and Wei Ziyou who were hugging.

"If it wasn't for Xiao You's request, I wouldn't have been willing to get involved in your bad destiny."

Liu Ying glared irritatedly at hearing that, the man who was arrogant and quite rude. Liu Ying could see that the man liked Wei Ziyou, but still quibbled as if he was a kind and understanding older brother. Though it was obvious that he was doing well only to Wei Ziyou.

Liu Ying shifted his gaze, "Ziyou, how did you and that person get inside here?"

"Who do you mean by 'that guy'?"

"Shut up!" snapping Liu Ying looked at Hu Xian sharply.

Wei Ziyou tried to mediate in order to avoid a fight, he calmed Hu Xian and stroked his back.

"Ying, when we finished passing through the bamboo forest, there were many people who carried sharp weapons and herded dozens of residents into the bamboo forest. Me and Xian Gege decided to go back and help you," Wei Ziyou explained slowly.

Liu Ying immediately gave a probing look to the two people before him. "I'm not sure the Coward started the initiative, he's afraid of death."

"YOU-YOU!!"

Wei Ziyou again injured those two stubborn people, they were becoming more and more so. "Xian Gege, Ying, don't fight. We could've been caught by the guards if it continued like this."

Is correct. If not for Wei Ziyou, Liu Ying would definitely have gotten the young man into a fight. Liu Ying tried to make some distance, it felt like he wanted to tear Hu Xian's mouth open with his bare hands.
