Chapter 18: Escape

After exiting the hall, Liu Ying immediately walked over to Fang Yao who was chatting with one of the seniors.

Jia Li patted Fang Yao on the shoulder, "Hey! Why are you out? You missed a good show, just now."

"Hey, hey. Don't call me that, you think I'm a horse?"

Fang Yao raised a glance at Liu Ying, "... After all, what good is it to watch that Young Master Song?"

Without lingering was instantly gagged by Liu Ying.

"Who are you?! What are you doing here?"

"Khouu tydwok mengwingwatkwu?" the man was indistinct while shrinking the volume of his voice.

Liu Ying took off his wad and seemed to think for a moment, he seemed to have seen this granddaughter some time ago. But where?

"A-ha! Wang Yan, you must be that Weak Prince Wang Yan Si, right?" sullen Liu Ying underestimated.

Wang Yan smiled shyly, "Is that bad?"

"What are you doing here, by the way?"

"Diminish your voice if you don't want to lose your throat. I'm not going to divulge secrets to strangers anyway."

"I'm a- person"

Liu Ying drew his sword and stuck the long iron on Wang Yan's neck, he pushed the young man to the side of the wall.

The sound of fireworks made Liu Ying panic, he saw fireworks that were different from other fireworks which meant that instructions had been sent.

"Shut your mouth, and obey!"

Before Wang Yan spoke, Liu Ying pressed down on the acupuncture point of the young man and made him unable to move like a statue.

"See you when you are a match," Liu Ying said with a slanted smile.

The girl ran towards the dark desolate passageway until it disappeared instantly, leaving Wang Yan who was already sculpting and festering.

Liu Ying continued to run until he finally arrived at the end of a dead end, there was a wall separating him from the outside world, a harsh and wild world.

Liu Ying immediately shrunk himself between the pile of wooden boxes upon hearing the sound of footsteps, estimating that the people there numbered more than one person.

Unwilling to linger, Liu Ying walked over in a squatting position slowly avoiding the few bodyguards.

"Nobody's here" said one of the bodyguards.

Liu Ying did not find the side of the wall already marked by Zhou Li, there should be some haystacks and a staircase there. Liu Ying walked down the rather desolate city walls, outwitting some guards and occasionally hiding.

The girl stopped when she saw an empty side of the wall with a few haystacks after finding the third side of the wall she had covered earlier.

Excitedly he tried to climb the wall using a ladder, his hand almost reaching the height of the wall before an arrow struck an inch from Liu Ying's ear.

"That's right! Where do you think you're going, HUH-!?" Said a loud heavy voice from behind Liu Ying.

Liu Ying believed that he recognized this one sound so much that he turned around and pecked at the spot.

Xi Guan along with the other senior disciples were already at that place, not to forget about Song Jun, the mayor as well as the few city guard soldiers.

They all stared flatly at Liu Ying. The faces of Fang Yao, Jia Li and Zhou Li who were among them were also expressionless.

Xi Guan ordered Fu Ming and Gu Hao to drag Liu Ying before him, raising the girl's chin using the tip of her cane.

"A girl who can't be controlled like you, shouldn't be born into the world!"

"YOU THINK I WANT TO BE YOUR GRANDSON!!?" Shouted Liu Ying, making Xi Guan speechless.
