The Guardians: The Swordsman of the Moon

The Guardians: The Swordsman of the Moon
Hongli

The first match will be played in the junior category. However, earlier the match would be conducted after the show that would be displayed by the Snow Dew disciples.

Mo Xian looked with astonishment at the Snow Dew people like they were coming out of the same mold. Even Mo Xian could not distinguish one from another, all of them white-haired with pale skin.

The disciples of the Snow Dew town displayed their skills in sword-playing and formed a famous eight-circle pagoda formation.

Mo Xian barely even flickered with their abilities in playing the sword, so light and flowing like a river, gentle but powerful.

Finished with the show for the opening, a man with long white hair who was left strung up went on stage.

The man smiled when he saw the large number of spectators, he then gave his greetings to the warriors sitting in the swordsman's chair. Mo Xian also sat down together in the swordsman's seat that was about to compete and parted ways with Li Huan and Li Zhou Ran who were seated on the special bench of a special guest.

"Gege, does Gege know who that guy is?" mo Xian asked Wu Jiao Xing who was sitting next to him.

Wu Jiao Xing replied with a headband.

"I welcome the talented warriors to the Dew Snow City friendly match. I Bai Hua will explain some of the rules that will be executed in the match this time."

A man named Bai Hua walked around the stage while explaining.

"This match will be very simple because each participant only needs to hit the opponent three times or take the opponent off the stage and he will win."

"All types of weapons are allowed, all secret moves are also allowed, the Snow Dew has prepared the best medical personnel in their field. After all, here was master Wang Xueshi the magic hand."

Bai Hua looked at Wang Xueshi who was sitting not far from Li Huan and Li Zhou Ran's chair. Bai Hua then smiled widely when he saw Li Zhou Ran.

"Even here is also the great Lady Li Zhou Ran, not only mastering the eight immortal fans, she is also an expert in the field of poison science and medicine. I'm sure these two great men wouldn't mind extending their hands if any of the participants were seriously injured."

Li Zhou Ran stared intently at Bai Hua who was standing on the stage. Waving her fan, she threw her face at her husband.

"Why do I feel something bad is going to happen?"

Li Huan as best as possible maintained a smile.

"I think so too."

Li Zhou Ran's face paled with worry. "Would we pull Xian'er back?"

Li Huan patted the back of Li Zhou Ran's hand calming him down. "Trust me, Xian'er is more than capable. If something bad happens, we're here to protect her."

Although still worried, Li Zhou Ran agreed to her husband's words and looked back at the stage.

Bai Hua again smiled widely as he saw Bai Xue nod her head, a sign she had obtained permission to start the match.

"Alright, I don't want to waste everyone's time with unnecessary words. Now let's start the game!"

Everyone cheered happily along with the gong that was hit as a sign the match was about to start.

After gong was beaten. Bai Hua announced the two names that had to come up on stage and compete.

Mo Xian saw two young men who were about ten to eleven years old facing each other. One of them was a member of the Snow Dew, he carried a sword at his waist while the other party did not carry any weapons.

Bai Hua smiled at the participants from the outer plains.

"Are you sure you don't want to use a gun in this game?" bai Hua asked before starting the match.

The young man stared coldly, "I won't use a weapon, will that be a problem?" ask the young man.

Bai Hua smiled again. "You're too brave."

After that Bai Hua got off the stage and after the gong sounded. The white-haired youth drew his sword and started to attack brutally, mercilessly he kept moving quickly giving out attacks as if not wanting to give his opponent a chance to give a counterattack.

The white-haired youth gave back-to-back attacks until the young man from the outer plains could only dodge retreat until he almost came out and fell off the stage.

Everyone was cheering and watching excitedly, they thought the young man from the outer plains was definitely finished in that brutal attack.

"Gege, aren't people from the Snow Dew in too much of a hurry?" asked Mo Xian.

Wu Jiao Xing nodded. "The people of the Eternal Snow Dew plains were notoriously brutal and ruthless. Don't be fooled by their saintly appearance."

The moment the young man from the outer plains almost fell down and everyone was already cheering for the victory of the Snow Dew people. Unexpectedly by the crowd, the young man moved his rubber-stretched hand and dodged the Snow Dew sword attack and directed his hand to hit the opponent's waist, then take a step forward and pull the opponent's shirt as a jumping stone before landing the right punch on the opponent's back, making him unable to move in time and falling off the stage.

The audience dominated by the Eternal Snow Dew people fell silent a thousand languages upon seeing the person from their side fall so easily out of the stage in front of their faces.

Silent for a moment the sound of cheers from the outer plains became very lively when he saw the victory of the skinny young man with his flat face walking into the middle of the arena.

"Does that mean victory for me?" he asked in a mocking tone while looking coldly at Bai Xue who was sitting in the main seat.

Li Huan looked at Bai Xue's expression still looking calm, but both of his hands were clenched tightly.

"It must be very embarrassing, this kid is very smart to be able to think of how to lure the Snow Dew people to the edge of the arena and perform surprise attacks. Admittedly this kid is very smart, Wang Xueshi are you not interested in kidnapping this child?" li Zhou Ran asked as he fanned his face.

Wang Xueshi smiled. "No, I've given up on him. This child was not an easy child to overcome, rather than fighting with weapons and muscles, he used his brain more to trap opponents. I've even used a thousand and one persuasion of mine and he can still refuse me. I don't like unruly children."

Li Huan chuckled. "Who is this kid?"

"I heard not long ago that she entered a small sect in the mountains, I don't know her name, but I've heard that the sect leader is a holy girl."

Li Huan nodded and looked back at the stage.

Bai Hua smiled wryly as he announced the first winner in this match fell to Hongli who was from the outer plains.

Mo Xian who was looking from afar also clapped loudly.

"Gege, this Hongli is very clever."

Wu Jiao Xing's. "M."

"Gege must win in the game."

Wu Jiao Xing's. "M."

After a surprising first match, the second match was announced. Two people came back forward, from the outer plains and the Snow Dew plains. Bai Xue had indeed actually used this match as a training material for her students.

The second match lasted quite a long time because unlike the first match, the Snow Dew people fought more patiently to see the opponent's abilities. But it was not a boring game either. Both of them were using swords as weapons, the sound of the swords clashing made everyone tense, it had been ten minutes of the match going on and no one had earned points, both were balanced.

Mo Xian who saw that also tensed up because every time one would be hit, at the last moment one managed to block the attack that almost hurt him.

Holding Xiao Hei, sometimes his wrathful hand upon seeing the match accidentally squeezed Xiao Hei's hairy legs until the cat got angry and bit his hand before moving onto his shoulder.

Wu Jiao Xing who saw Mo Xian's bloody hand bitten by Xiao Hei immediately took it and wiped it with a cloth, and gave it medicine.

The second match was like there would be no end, they were completely balanced until the person from the Snow Dew plains used their famous moves, he flowed the spiritual energy in his sword to let out a blue light. As their swords clashed for the umpteenth time, the opponent's swords suddenly froze before breaking into pieces of ice.

Audience cheering. Mo Xian who saw him was as surprised as the person who was competing, stared in disbelief at his sword which was now a piece of ice on the floor.

The Snow Dew man used his opponent's shock to give him three consecutive strikes, hitting him on the back with a sword hilt, hitting him on the stomach with his knees before last kicking him to the floor and coughing up blood.

Mo Xian who saw that stared in disbelief.

"Gege, isn't that too loud? Isn't this supposed to be a friendly?"

Wu Jiao Xing was silent for a moment seeing the participants from the outer plains continue to bleed from his mouth while holding onto his stomach.

"The Snow Dew people don't seem to think of this as a friendly match, it's more to show off strength and look for enemies."

The winner of the second match was announced, the Snow Dew people shouting in joy. The severely injured youth was brought down on a stretcher and the third match, the fourth and so on proceeded with the same incident where the participants from the outer plains lost with severe external and internal injuries, and got to be stretchered out of the arena.
