The Guardians: The Swordsman of the Moon

Two of the most valuable.

Mo Xian sat languidly inside the carriage which had now been turned into a bed since yesterday night. In fact, the long queues really made them have to sleep on the train and even after two days, they still had to queue.

Mo Xian sighed, looking out the window, the white plains were still the same as yesterday.

Li Huan rubbed Mo Xian's back. "If Xian'er is tired, you can sleep with mom again." 

Mo Xian glanced at Li Zhou Ran who was taking a nap.

Mo Xian lethargicly made Li Huan's thigh a pillow.

"When we can get in, it starts to get boring" he lamented. 

Li Huan laughed and stroked Mo Xian's head. 

"Xian'er needs to be more patient."

Mo Xian sighed, grabbing Xiao Hei who was busy licking her sweet black feather and hugging her. He had actually been eaten by boredom to wait for it to enter the Eternal Snow Dew plains.

"Why are the Eternal Snow Dew people so careful?" mo Xian asked, playing Li Huan's long hair that was currently left unraveled.

"The Eternal Snow Dew people don't actually like outsiders."

Mo Xian raised his face to look at Li Huan's face. "Why are they having a friendly match?"

Li Huan stared out the window.

"That's because they need to test their strength. They learn from their mistakes, when their people are defeated by outsiders, then they will practice even more."

Mo Xian listened carefully.

"And for outsiders it is not much different either. They do it to measure their strength. The people from the Eternal Snow Dew plains had the ability of the water element, they could turn water into ice and use it as a weapon as well as vice versa."

Mo Xian nodded, he had once read about the ability of the person who mastered the water element. 

"About the Heart of Hongbaoshi and Bai Xin. What do you mean by arresting a thief?"

Li Huan smiled. "Did Xian'er also remember when my father said that if one was stolen, the other would have the awareness to feel the other?"

Mo Xian nodded.

"Bai Xue tried to lure the thief away by taking out the Hongbaoshi Pill as the top reward this time around."

Mo Xian nodded in understanding.

"What if the thief doesn't show up, wouldn't it be a waste?"

Li Huan nodded.

"The thief must have appeared."

"How did you know? If one pill could sense another, even if that person appeared he might have already hidden the other pill somewhere else and would have been impossible to bring it here."

Li Huan smiled and pinched his nose. Mo Xian immediately moved his hand to release him.

"Dad!"

"Hahaha, you'll know later. The Hongbaoshi Pill and Bai Xin are not simple you can think of. Xian'er, tomorrow you'll see a good show."

"What are you guys doing? Why so much noise?" li Zhou Ran asked with a face that was still sleepy.

Li Huan laughed. "Look, you made the lion's mother wake up again."

Mo Xian laughed and before Li Zhou Ran went berserk, Mo Xian immediately hugged him until he fell asleep. So did Li Huan who hugged the two.

"Hey, what are you doing!" Li Zhou Ran tried to rebel and let go of Li Huan's embrace.

Li Huan did not budge, Mo Xian who was in the middle started to feel himself pinched and pushed Li Huan. "Dad, I'm stuck here!"

Now Li Zhou Ran who was laughing and tightened his embrace, made Mo Xian struggle more to break free before Li Huan finally loosened his embrace and knocked on the carriage.

Not long after that came Zhao Jin's voice from outside.

"Yes, Sir. Does the Master need anything?" zhao Jin asked from outside.

Li Huan looked at his son who was now irritated by his messy hair while his wife laughed lightly while combing Mo Xian's hair with her slender fingers.

"Is it still a long time?" ask Li Huan.

"No sir, maybe this afternoon we can go inside."

Li Huan nodded and again knocked on the carriage once, after which he again lay down with Mo Xian and Li Zhou Ran.

"This afternoon we can go inside" said Li Huan.

Li Zhou Ran nodded slowly, he still combed Mo Xian's hair with his finger.

"We should kill time by sleeping."

Mo Xian saw that Li Huan had already closed his eyes after pulling Mo Xian into his arms, making his chest a pillow. Not long after, Li Zhou Ran followed on the other side and slept beside Li Huan. Mo Xian's rosy cheeks.

"Xian'er sleep well" Li Zhou Ran said before a severe drowsiness came to Mo Xian and soon fell asleep.

"Laopo, did you use your ability to put Xian'er to sleep?"

"Mm, that's good. He had been sleep deprived since traveling to this place. At least let him sleep until tomorrow. Seeing him get bored makes me sad." Li Zhou Ran complained while drawing a circle on Li Huan's chest.

Li Huan laughed happily, now in his arms, in both of his hands were two people whom he truly loved and cherished. 

"I'm also sleep-deprived, don't you want to help me sleep?"

Li Zhou Ran raised his head, looked at her husband's gently smiling face before looking at Mo Xian's slumbering face and looking back at her husband. Smiling, Li Zhou Ran leaned his head and kissed Li Huan's lips a little longer.

"Sleep, please" he said before resuscitating his head on Li Huan's chest and falling asleep.

Instead, Li Huan smiled in satisfaction and replied, "Mm, sleep well." However, Li Huan did not sleep, instead he kept the two most precious people in his life carefully so as not to be bothered with the noise outside.
