9. Duels

King Aryo carried his wife and away from the battle brought some nobles and some royal soldiers who became his bodyguards. He intended to find a safe place for his followers and then intended to return to help Patih Yarna and the others.

The look on the woman's face that was originally happy finally slowly changed and began to show seriousness. But he re-opened his voice with a slight mocking laugh.

“Our kingdom is very tempted by the culture and welfare of your kingdom which is more advanced than our kingdom. And today we will present your head to our king later”, the blood knife explained the purpose of their arrival, after which he immediately moved to attack the king of Aryo.

King Aryo did not stay silent, with his heirloom dagger he began to exchange attacks with a blood blade. Both of them showed balanced strength and continued to exchange moves for moves, both of them expended all their abilities to defeat their respective opponents.

It had been almost 50 moves the two exchanged and the longer king Aryo managed to dominate the fight. Although their strength is the same but the superiority of king Aryo is because there is an heirloom keris in his hand.

This kris is named after Bagaskara keris which has the meaning of sun, this kris is made by mpu Jaya, an old man who has reached the age of a century and is famous as a maker of high-level heirloom weapons.

With the keris did not take long finally king Aryo was able to make his opponent desperate, the blood knife was surprised because of the ability shown his opponent that he never expected.

Not only did the heirloom keris become his weapon, as a king who was educated diligently made the knowledge controlled by the king of Aryo very large.

It is not easy to conquer the blood knife until it makes the king of Aryo have to issue a deadly style. The move absorbed half the inner power he had and most could only be used twice.

Passing through the path finally king Aryo managed to find his followers, the faces of his guards became bright after seeing their king return unharmed.

They were sure that king Aryo had defeated the woman who had blocked their steps earlier, in fact they wanted to help but king Aryo asked them to go into hiding carrying the empress and let the two fight.

King Aryo understood the reaction of his guards, despite the tiredness he felt now, seeing the smiles of his guards made him calm. He then walked towards one of his troops, "Go back to the palace, bring some of your colleagues to accompany you there", king Aryo gave an edict to his guards.

"Okay, I understand", the bodyguard answered respectfully the command of his king. He then chose his own comrades to accompany him back to the palace.

King Aryo saw the departure of some of his bodyguards whom he assigned to search for information about the situation in the palace now. He said it would be great when he returned after recuperating to get important information about the situation.
