The Fate of Adipura Kingdom

The Fate of Adipura Kingdom
5. Assault

The soldiers guarding the palace gate did not expect that on the most festive night it would be a disaster for them. Because from the beginning of the wedding ceremony was started until now there are no suspicious signs.

When the event was busy from far away it seemed that a horse carriage was leading to the palace gate. The soldier who was on guard stopped the horse-drawn carriage and checked the identity of the passengers.

"Stop!", orders Patih assigned to lead the guard at the palace gate.

The horse carriage stopped not far from the position where Patih was standing, after stopping he then ordered his soldiers to check the passengers of the horse carriage.

"Sorry sir, please show me the invitation letter to enter the palace", one of the soldiers began to open his voice.

"Evitation letter? I don't even have, can't I get in as usual?", one of the passengers answered a question from the soldier.

"Sorry sir, if there is no letter then.".", the soldier had not yet finished his words suddenly there was a woman's voice that cut off the conversation.

"Even crown prince Jaka Jayastu?", the woman spoke in a slightly irritated tone.

The soldier who heard that was surprised and immediately turned to Patih who became his leader, it turned out that the reaction of the soldier was the same as Patih who was with them. The name mentioned is not foreign to them, the name is none other than the son of the former king Aryi Wajendra.

"You stand guard here first, I will tell this information to the king!", the Patih command to his troops.

His soldiers nodded their heads in understanding, and so the Patih was able to go calmly to the throne of King Aryo.

It didn't take long for the Patih to finally return to the palace gate, "The order has already been given to the king's majesty, let the chariot pass!", hearing the command, the soldier opened the gate and the horse carriage finally began to enter the palace.

After being given permission to enter, prince Jaka smiled cynically towards the gate guards which made them feel that there was something strange. But they cast off all doubts and chose to return to guard according to their respective duties.

When the horse-drawn carriage entered the palace at that time a group of people smelling all black was lurking not far from the position of the guarding troops. Due to the darkness of the night of action they had not been noticed by the Adipura royal forces guarding the gate.

“Prince Jaka, senior Yuda and senior Liva have already entered the palace. We just have to wait for the sign from senior Yuda to act, I want you to be able to carry out your respective duties and succeed!”, the order of a swordsman who was assigned to be the head of the attack at the palace gate.

“Good senior!!!”, answer simultaneously 12 people behind him, "We will not disappoint you!!!".

These 12 people were warriors who were in the strength of a level 4 wolf swordsman, while the leader was at the peak of the wolf swordsman. After a long time observed guarding the gate is only guarded by soldiers whose strength is in the 2nd and 3rd levels. Even if their opponent can overcome but their mission is to open the gate secretly from within.

The infiltration technique they used was excellent and within a short period of time they had already managed to break into the fortress area to continue their mission. In the darkness of the night they paralyze the guards they encounter one after another. In just a short period of time the care that was previously crowded little by little reduced.

They thought their action would go smoothly, but unfortunately they were wrong. Just as they were about to lead to the gate, an arrow shot out quickly and hit one of the warriors right on his right foot.

The arrow managed to deliver quite a severe wound, the swordsman slumped to the ground with the wound he had received.

“It turns out the ability of 13 night killers is indeed as told” the words were spoken by someone carrying an arrow as well as a small knife on his waist for a short distance fight.

“I didn't expect to see Patih Marda here. Even if you're stronger than us, we won't be afraid in the slightest to serve you!” answer the chief swordsman of the night-killer siege.

“Oh really? Isn't it just 12? I don't think he will be able to help you, even help himself he won't be able to”, Patih Marda laughed mockingly.

Patih Marda is a relative of Patih Yarna and has equal strength but both have their own way of fighting. Patih Yarna is better in swordsmanship, while Patih Yarna is better in archery.

“Don't be afraid, we attack him together! Opponent he paraded near he would definitely trouble”, orders the leader of the assassin swordsman that night.

“Don't be too hopeful, you picked the wrong opponent tonight”, Patih Marda spoke again and prepared to shoot the intruders in front of him.

The intruders who initially felt confident that they could compensate Patih Marda and could give wounds to him were finally made not too free because in addition to his arrow managed to land on the body parts of several colleagues, he said, Patih Marda also turned out to be a little able to fight in close parades with his knife and the science of lightening his body high enough to avoid his opponent's attack.

“Retreat!!” pekik senior night killer. He had not expected that his opponent was also an expert in short-range combat. Actually they can compensate but not too long and only realized the power of Patih Marda beyond their expectations.

Seeing the shock of his opponent Patih Marda immediately gathered his strength in and shouted with all his might.

“Invourer!!! Ring the bell of attack sign!!!” patih Yarna's cry that was energized in making the guards who were still around reacted quickly and immediately hit the bell 3 times in a row.

The sound of bells echoed that night and soon the troops who were near the gate headed towards the cry of Patih Marda with weapons complete and ready to fight.

Patih Marda's shout could not only be heard by the palace guards of Adipura but also to the person behind the infiltration who led 5000 warriors equivalent to a level 4 wolf swordsman. The leader of the thousands of assailants shook his head in an unexpected way that the prepared plan had failed and was known to the guards of the Adipura palace.

“We can't delay anymore, send all the soldiers! Adipura Kingdom should fall today!” orders a middle-aged man named minister Balda on his soldiers.

“Seraaaaangggggggg!!!!” ministerial subordinate Balda's shout made the roar of war sound and directly led to the Adipura kingdom's gate.
