26. The Black Tribe

With a quick movement the old man lit a torch that became the lighting in the room. Because it felt too dark inside the old man then asked that two soldiers go inside with each torch. After the two slowly entered the room it finally became slightly bright with the light emitted by the torch.

“Black tribes!”, said Patih Purno screeched a little. His eyes widened watching the unexpected before his eyes now.

Aryo and the man were spontaneously shocked and turned towards Patih Purno who had just been shrieking simultaneously. Both of them became confused with the words of Patih Purno just now, not to mention the expression shown by Patih Purno now. When the two were still in confusion, Patih Purno spoke again and asked Aryo.

“Celaka! Young master, how did you guys catch this guy?”, Patih Purno asked in a hasty tone.

"Why is Patih in such a hurry? Did Patih recognize this person?", Aryo then asked Patih Purno who was responded by him with a nod of his head repeatedly.

Seeing the reaction of Patih Purno who continued to wait for answers made Aryo ask that the old man explain the incident the other day, the old man nodded his head while saying, “Begini Patih, that time..”, the, the old man began to explain.

The old man explains the beginning of the story of how the stranger was captured alive. From the explanation of the old man, Patih Purno captured the outline of his explanation. And I am sure the arrival of this person relates to our enemy later!”, replied Patih Purno more clearly.

Aryo and the old man for a moment dissolved in silence thinking back to the words of Patih Purno just now. If it is true what Patih Purno said, what is the reason that makes this person help their opponent, but they have not had time to think about the answer Patih Purno spoke again.

“Young master please take this man out and off the chain that binds him”, pinta Patih Purno.

The soldiers guarding swiftly opened the chain quickly. They carefully kept their distance because when the chain bond came off this person immediately stood up with a sharp gaze towards them. His hunting breath made the soldiers quickly retreat backwards with swords and spears as a tool to defend themselves.

Aryo and the old man were already preparing to draw their respective weapons just in case this person would act recklessly. However not for some time Patih Purno threw one of the spears towards that person. The spear shot rapidly towards the stranger, yet swiftly the spear was captured by that fellow quite easily.

“Young master need not worry, even if this person looks very grumpy and wants to kill. This person in his native place had strength like a swordsman in general. The intent of my spear just now was to challenge him to fight”, Patih Purno explained the reason for his actions earlier.

“Train, is this really your plan?”, asked Aryo curiously.

“True young master, I want him to show his ability. This is very important for us when facing these people later”, replied Patih Purno back.

"How will Patih deal with this man?", the old man asked.

"Give me room to fight with him, you can see a considerable distance from here" Patih Purno said.

Aryo nodded in understanding and immediately made room for Patih Purno followed by the old man and the soldier standing guard. After that Patih Purno immediately put the horses ready to face his opponent, he gave a hand signal telling the person to come forward to attack him.
