The Fate of Adipura Kingdom
39. The Past of Sinta VII

“Dinda... Kanda apologized, kanda failed as a good husband for you", Sinta's father bowed his head, "If only death could be exchanged for better kanda who took the place of mu”, lamented Sinta's father.

She had stopped crying, her tears as if they had drained away. He then hugged his wife's body very tightly. She still did not want her lover to leave her with her child.

“Kanda promises to keep Sinta as good as possible, calm down there dinda”

Such was the last word Sinta's father said to his wife while peeping his forehead for the last time.

He then grabbed Sinta to hug him, he wished to the god that his wife be placed in the right place. Although his heart still did not accept but he was finally willing with the fate that had happened.

Because he was too tired both mentally and physically, his vision suddenly darkened and soon he fainted beside his wife while hugging Sinta.

The sound of fighting in the residence of Sinta's father made some residents whose homes were not too far away woke up from their deep sleep. Those who were awakened faintly heard the clinking sound of swords clashing against each other.

Those who heard that thought that night Sinta's father was training his silat disciples. But the screams of the red demons finally made them realize that something bad had happened in the residence of Sinta's father. The residents then report to the village leader who immediately delivered to other residents.

The residents then flocked out of his house and moved towards Sinta's father's residence to ascertain what happened. Arriving at the gate of Sinta's father's house the fishy smell of blood began to smell, when the gate was opened the fishy smell of blood pierced sharply in the nose of the residents.

The horrifying sight and the scent of blood that attacked their sense of smell seemed to have been waiting for their arrival. So sharp and stinging, not a few residents who now turn pale faces and some of them later vomit because they did not breathe the air that night mixed with the fishy smell of blood.

Residents who were still able to survive tried to enter the residence deeper, now not only the smell of blood fishy but they saw corpses lying lifeless. The residents then examined one of the bodies and realized they had been killed.

Some of the corpses they could recognize and of course it was the servant inside Sinta's father's residence. The village leader who heard the report ordered to find the whereabouts of Sinta's father and mother.

The residents then split up so that the search was wider and did not take long they finally found the whereabouts of the owner of the residence.

“Uncle... Uncle... Lothawat! Uncle Rama there he was...”, a young man ran to report what he had seen. With a deathly pale face he ran towards the village leader.

The village leader who saw it was astonished because of his face like that, he was as if he was being chased by ghosts.

“Quiet, quiet. What the hell's going on? Did you find out where Lord Rama was?”, the village chief asked the young man who ran towards him.

The young man set his breath first and after he told of having found the whereabouts of Sinta's father and mother. The young man said that the owner of this residence was lying not far from their room.

The residents were about to approach him but when it was about to approach suddenly there were two people dressed in all black coming towards them. Without further ado the men then attacked the residents, the residents who were attacked did not stay silent and took up their weapons.

“Uncle... Let's help the other residents”, ask the young man to the village leader.

The attackers are now fighting some of the citizens they meet, although only the two but they are warriors and not too troublesome against these citizens. But when all the residents led by the village leader came they finally decided to run from the place, otherwise their lives would also be threatened.

The two men then ran while avoiding any attacks from the residents. With nimble movements they were able to avoid it and were now where the red demon lay. With a gesture of hand one of the men carried the body of the red demon on his back and they finally left the residence of Sinta's father in the dark of night.

Seeing the assailants fleeing the village leader asked some residents to pursue the attacker and some checked the situation of Sinta's father and mother. They approached to confirm the condition of Sinta's parents, and then realized that one of the families had died.

The village chief closed his eyes while breathing out softly, “Please take care of the other corpses, prepare a proper funeral tomorrow morning. And some of you please bring and take care of Lord Rama and his son until they realize”, the order of the village head which is immediately carried out by its citizens.

The residents did not expect that bad things had happened to this family. A family they respect and respect, a family that will never say no to if someone needs help. Feelings of sadness appeared in the minds of every citizen who witnessed the incident that night.

They were very sorry for this incident, and certainly they felt sorry for Sinta who was still a child but had lost her beloved mother.

Bik Sekar again fell silent to hear the story from Sinta, he did not expect that the story of Sinta's childhood was so painful and bitter. Bik Sekar then turned towards Sinta who was now also silent with a blank look forward. Both have now reached the beach around their village.

Blowing wind accompanied their presence on the beach, so fresh and soothing. But Bik Sekar knew that Sinta was now being hit by sadness, it was clearly visible from the look on her face and her eyes began to glaze over. Bik Sekar then decided to speak so that the atmosphere returned to liquid.

“Non, there's a good place for us to sit. Let's sit there non”, take a bik sekar to Sinta.

Sinta who initially looks like a dumbass because it dissolves in her memory is awakened by the sound of Sekar's bik. He rubbed his teary eyes, not wanting to shed his tears again. He had already promised himself to be strong in accepting and living the destiny that had been set for him.

“Let's bik”, replied Sinta with a warm smile.

Bik sekar then took his hand and they finally walked to the place designated by bik Sekar earlier.

When the two of them immediately sit down, Bik Sekar helps Sinta to a sitting position that makes Sinta comfortable considering Sinta's large stomach.

Even to sit down he was a little troubled, Sinta who received the help then smiled, “Thank you bik, I did not expect to get here with my condition now”, Sinta said after she sat down.

“Sama-sama non, we rest for a while here”, reply bik Sekar and then sit next to Sinta. They finally enjoy the scenery presented by nature at this time.
