The Fate of Adipura Kingdom
27. Falabea Dance

The atmosphere was silent for a moment, the man was looking at the surroundings and before long his gaze was fixed on the man in front of him who was none other than Patih Purno. He looked at the spear in his hand and then tightly grasped the spear. With a single breath he jumped towards his opponent.

All eyes were watching the incident. How not the distance of the person from Patih Purno as far as 10 meters. But with one jump the man managed to approach and launch a barrage of attacks with his spear right in the direction of Patih Purno.

Patih Purno let out awe for a moment after seeing his dueling opponent earnestly facing him. From the information and experience he had obtained this person did indeed possess extraordinary physical strength. According to him if classified in swordsman strength, the strength of this person is equivalent to a level 5 or late wolf swordsman.

“The physical strength is very large, this will be the thing I need to note”, Patih Purno's inner. In his heart he continued to be amazed by the attacks from his opponent, but that awe did not make him feel complacent. Patih Purno continued to fend off attack after attack by his opponent and occasionally retaliated against his opponent's attacks.

After a few minutes the two continued to exchange attacks, the opponent retreated by jumping three times. Although some injuries have now adorned his body but his body remains firm and his view is not completely diverted from his opponent.

The man was now silent on the spot while trying to catch his breath, he saw the injuries his opponent had made. He growled and his gaze returned to Patih Purno. Patih Purno responded casually as if ready to move on.

The audience is already impatient what will happen next, how not to be behind the tension for some people it is an interesting spectacle at the time for him. They hope this show will be more exciting next.

The person again attacked towards Patih Purno vigorously, the wounds that adorned his body did not decrease the agility he had. Patih Purno was still in a defensive position with occasional counterattacks against his opponent.

The people who saw the fight thought the strength of the two was the same, but actually Patih Purno deliberately held back his strength. He wanted to get to know the attack pattern of his opponent in order to get a piece of information that could be used in the future.

The sound of pikes that collided echoed that night added to the excitement in the duel. The soldiers shouted for Patih Purno to finish the fight immediately. Aryo who heard his soldiers daring to say like that just shook his head, he wanted to stop him but the voices of his soldiers continued to echo in the silence of the night.

"Train!"

"Rubble!"

"Train!"

"Purno!

The words interlinked and filled the fight so that it became hotter. Patih Purno's opponent became furious due to the shouts from the spectators of their fight. With overflowing emotions he then attacked more vigorously regardless of the wounds on his body which were increasing in time.

"Good! Take out all your abilities!"

Patih Purno cried out loudly to his opponent, although actually his opponent was not as critical of his words just now but he hoped that his opponent would show his full ability this time.

“I didn't expect the strength of that person to be this big uncle. We have to negotiate after this duel is over!”, Aryo commented when he saw the fight in front of him.

“Hamba also surprised young master, this could be a danger if we let him”, replied the old man agreed with the opinion of Aryo.

Although he was late to realize the attack from his opponent, the stranger managed to avoid a little so that the stab wound was not too deep into his thigh. He then jumped back to keep his distance while adjusting his breathing which started to get a little heavy.

His gaze was still focused towards the smiling Patih Purno as if enjoying their fight. He cursed with his language and not long after that he who was originally silent in place now raised the spear upwards. Patih Purno thought the man would attack again but the attack never arrived.

“What is he doing?”, said a soldier watching.

“I don't know, it's just I saw”, replied the soldier nearby.

“The movement is strange”, lead another soldier.

The black tribesman was now performing a new dance this time the soldiers saw. He began to move his legs by swinging them forward and the next movement crossed. He did so repeatedly while mentioning a word in a tone as if humming.

“Falabea... Falabeans... Falabea..” , the stranger said those words many times while dancing.

The dance that feels foreign and is first seen then makes everyone amazed at what is done by the person is no exception his opponent, Patih Purno. It took a while for Patih Purno to remember what the person was doing. After long enough to think he finally remembered it, according to his knowledge the man was doing a war dance which was a dance of honor for a fighter from a black tribe.

This dance originated in the eastern part of the land and is a dance used for this kind of situation. Its function is none other than to motivate themselves or ask ancestral spirits to help them in a fight even war, considering their lives do not escape the inter-tribal war that continues to rage.

And there is one thing that becomes the core of the dance, through this dance someone who does it is ready to face death if lost in a duel or war.

“Truly a tough fighter, I will give a memorable fight to you”, Patih Purno smiled towards his opponent who is still dancing.

The dance did not last long, the man now stopped and mounted the horses to come forward. At that time there was also a pungent smell in the air, Patih Purno had choked because he inhaled the smell.

After a while he found out that the smell was coming from his opponent's body, he frowned looking at it. At the time of the fight he had never found anything like this, he thought it was an oddity.

Not long after the man stopped the dance. When the dance stopped quickly the person moved back towards where Patih Purno was standing. Everyone was surprised again because after the strange dance earlier that person immediately ran so fast like never before as if he had just gained new strength.

They do not know that the usefulness of the dance is to burn the spirit in the person. That person had already steadied his heart and intended to die in his duel if it was necessary. An opponent as strong as anything would not make him tremble in the slightest, he went ahead and launched an attack faster than before.

Patih Purno did not stay silent, he also started to move to resist the attacks from his opponent. But in fact it took a while for Patih Purno to compensate. This was because the attacks from his opponent were so wild as to not care about the condition of his body or his opponent.
