The Fate of Adipura Kingdom

The Fate of Adipura Kingdom
46. The War Begins IV

Aryo with all his surprise tried to calm down, “Uncle, he already can not be saved! He had already received the consequences that dying was a sure thing in this war, he had become an honorable swordsman who had never feared facing an opponent even death!”, he had become a noble warrior, Aryo again reminded Subani with his words.

Subani who was initially angry finally slowly calmed down, the words from Aryo were a matter of fact that had happened. When someone faces war, death will accompany them in all their activities.

Subani understood very well that this was unavoidable, she breathed out softly and accepted everything that had happened.

The two stopped for quite a while, their distance and the opposing cavalry were already quite close. No more time to run, they finally decided to stay in place.

Aryo clasped his dagger tightly while Subani pulled out a neatly-coated machete at his waist, they prepared to face the opposing army coming towards them.

“Injured those guys!”, mysterious man orders his horsemen.

Two people trying to block thousands of horsemen moving forward was a senseless act. The action is the same only will deliver life, only a fool or relatively reckless will do it.

The situation that Aryo and Subani are experiencing now is due to their own fault factor. Because it takes too long to buy time until they forget the strategy that has been prepared.

Even though they will definitely remain overtaken, according to Aryo it is better to face his opponent now. Similarly, Subani, he prefers to face the opponent who came rather than running with an impossible result.

When the distance of their opponents was close, suddenly thousands of arrows shot down into the crowd of horsemen led by mysterious men. The rain of arrows quickly darted down making the opposing army fall, either because it hit the rider or his horse.

“What did the two of them do?!”, Patih Purno wondered in his heart when he saw Aryo and Subani who had stopped and quarreled while the planned retreat was underway. “This is bad, the time required is no more!”, the curse is in the heart.

Patih Purno saw clearly the distance between his two comrades with the enemy's cavalry was close. With a heavy heart he ordered the old man to release an arrow towards the opposing cavalry.

No wait long old man gave a cue to his archer troops, “Now!!!”, the old man orders.

Thousands of arrows slipped from his bow and floated above the air towards his opponent. Patih Purno ordered that the arrow should be aimed directly at the rear of the cavalry of their opponents.

The strategy was sweet because the dust that blocked the eyes of the opponent finally the arrows quickly plunged and finished off the opposing forces that were behind, they were not even aware of the arrival of the rain of arrows.

As the carelessness of the mysterious man left his army in a tatters, the troops in front who were with him were not affected by the opponent's arrows, only a few of them had to be injured due to the attack.

But the line at the back had received a crushing attack from his opponent's arrow earlier. Not a few of his troops had to be the victim of the attack, he condemned the actions of their opponents and wanted to demand revenge.

“Gawat!!”, a mysterious male grouse saw his army fall due to an opponent's attack.

"Teacher how is this?"

"What should we do senior?"

Don't want to dissolve in a crowded state mysterious man tries to calm down, “Don't stop! Keep advancing!”, the troops who could still ride their horses continued to advance forward chasing the retreating rebel forces.

He knew who the mastermind of this was, "Fucking old bastard!", he grumbled.

The longer the war that occurred the more it was seen that the opposing forces managed to dominate, this was natural because their opponents were in good condition while their fighting forces had now just traveled quite a distance.

Instead of resting his troops, the king of Jaka ordered the troops who had just arrived to be ready for battle as soon as possible.

The pain hit his head, minister Balda massaged his head which was getting more and more painful. Not yet subsided the pain he was suffering from vaguely he saw the opposing forces moving backwards. Of course it was a strange matter, the troops who managed to resist even dominate the war then moved back abruptly.

He observed the movements of his opponent and soon understood the purpose of his opponent's movements. This kind of incident he had experienced when fighting with the kingdom of Gundala which was directly led by his old enemy, Patih Purno.

A strategy that led him to accept the shame of not being able to conquer the small kingdom. He was about to make a move to notify the troops who were on the front line especially the cavalry of his comrade, the mysterious man.

But all that was too late, he could see the rain of arrows from the direction of the fortress of the rebel army plunging towards the horsemen led by a mysterious man. It was just like his memories before.

With a flash hundreds of horsemen were uprooted to the ground accompanied by the horse he was riding. The arrows stuck in their bodies made the casualties in that army countless.

"It's too late, they can't be helped anymore...."

Minister Balda looked back because he heard these words. He knew who the owner of the voice was, who was none other than a young woman.

"What do you mean?!", minister Balda raised his eyebrows.

The young lady smiled for a moment before pointing towards the rebel stronghold, "I think it's too late, look what's waiting in front of them", pointed the young lady.

Minister Balda turned back to the rebel stronghold and found a line of horses that he recognized stepped forward towards the horsemen's mysterious cavalry.

"Damn!!!", Balda's minister clasped his hands, "They will have trouble there!", he wanted to quickly get out of his place to help the army of mysterious men but was soon stopped by the young woman.

"I thought a minister would trust the abilities of his subordinates, but it turned out that he was still unable to do such a thing" the young woman commented.

Minister Balda glared at his interlocutor, he understood very well the meaning of the words of this young lady. He was eager to make a move to help, but if he was there indirectly it would be the same as insulting the subordinates he had trusted on the battlefield.

His fist slowly began to weaken, he finally remained silent in his place observing the ensuing war atmosphere. He hopes the mysterious man is able to provide resistance even in his deepest heart hoping that his partner can survive when facing the trained horsemen of his opponent.
