"The grandkids are willing to listen to the cake", Aryo was nervous for a moment.
Aryo was suddenly nervous when this grandfather wanted to tell him, his aura was clearly not comfortable when the grandfather began to evict his sitting position and looked up at the sky for a moment.
"Before that this old man wanted to ask, why would you want to help a sick old man like myself?".
"Iii-that's.", Aryo was confused to explain, "I can't bear to see there are parents who are in trouble, that's all my reason", Aryo sat straight after.
"Haha... Why is my grandson so nervous, don't think too much. I'm grateful that there are still soft-hearted humans like you, maybe it's the fate of our god to be met today", a smile is now engraved on the old man's face.
Aryo coughed for a moment because he blushed in shame at the praise of the grandfather, he had helped other people a lot and found expressions of gratitude from people he had helped.
Of the many expressions of gratitude he had gotten only this expression from the grandfather in front of him could make him blush in embarrassment. He was amazed because only this time he found his reaction like that.
"Ayahanda who always taught me to help everyone who needed a helping hand", Aryo returned the old man's smile.
"Yyahanda you must be a no less kind person, indeed the fruit fell not far from the tree".
"Thank you grandpa for saying that".
"Ah... Yes, this old man almost forgot to tell me something. What if we introduce ourselves first, how do I say your name cu?", the grandfather asked again.
"My name is Aryo Jayantaka kek, what about grandfather?".
"My name is Prabaswara Sadali, you can call me Ki Wara".
"Good Ki Wara", Aryo smiled warmly.
"You must have a question that sees a lot of my condition like this, the old man will gladly tell me the story of my life".
Aryo had not yet responded to her Ki Wara then began to tell her life story.
***
The story begins when Ki Wara was young and at that time he was an ordinary young man from a farming family in a very simple village. Although life is a little difficult, their families still enjoy it.
His father and mother were farmers and he was the eldest of two children. The age between the two is not far adrift, considering that people of that era thought many children would bring barokah yng not less also.
The two sisters are so close and live their lives with a cheerful laugh, although problems often hit but gradually they will get along again. But all that changes when a major catastrophe comes to the life of this small family.
One day Ki Wara's father asked his two children to find firewood in the forest not far from his village. His father's orders were agreed upon by the two of them with pleasure.
The activity was routine for both of them, they walked together to the forest where they looked for firewood. When it was near, the two of them heard a cry from within the forest.
Of course it was a strange thing, considering that the forest only a few dared to enter it. Ki Wara's sister was hanging for a moment when she heard a soft cry in the forest, she asked her brother not to go into the forest.
In fact Ki Wara only returned the invitation with a smile, he said to his sister that there might be villagers who were lost in the forest.
"We have to make sure it's dik".
"T-ta-tap-i brother!".
Then Ki Wara and her sister walked while holding hands into the forest. Their steps are slow while following the sound of crying that is sometimes heard and sometimes just disappears.
Although it was still day but the atmosphere in the forest was very unpleasant, usually the forest was filled with the sound of birds chirping and soothing wind now all of it disappeared like swallowed by the earth.
The atmosphere of the forest was so quiet and gripping, Ki Wara who when he first entered felt confident now became wary of the situation they are experiencing now.
"Hikkksatr.... Hiikkkkscus...."
The crying sound that had stopped was now heard in the ears of the two of them, just as the reaction of the two became so alert. The sound of crying was long enough to stop but now it suddenly came back and was like being not far from them.
"Sister! Sis! A-aa-ku ing-ngin pu-pu-return", said his sister.
"Not men! Fear not! Wait here for a moment, I'll check that way", point Ki Wara to a towering bamboo grove.
He felt the presence of the sound was sourced behind a bamboo grove that was not far from its place, but he had not had time to step the sound was heard again.
"DON'T INTERRUPT!!! GO!!!"
Now the voice was clearly heard in the ears of the two of them, so strong and echoing filled the air.
"Whaaaahhhhhhhhhkkkk!!!!! !!!!!!!!"
Ki Wara's sister then ran alone leaving her brother who was still glued to their place earlier. He ran with all his strength without looking back, in his mind there was only the word 'run' if he wanted to survive the coming calamity.
Another case experienced by Ki Wara, he could not move from his place because his legs like being held by something. He could only watch how his sister ran so fast without looking back.
His heart felt tight for a moment, his sister left him without a word. He tried to rebel but his feet seemed unable to follow his will, while still trying to rebel that suddenly heard footsteps from behind the bamboo grove in front of him.
Crack.... Crack... Craakkk...
The sound of footsteps stepping on the dried bamboo leaves was very clear to make Ki Wara's heart beat unsteadily. He realized it was not a detachment because of love but because of the fear he was feeling now.
Ki Wara could not stand the beating of his heart that was not because of, he wanted to scream for help but his mouth was not willing to obey his will. The more clearly it sounded the more intense his body shook, there was no other choice for him now.
He then decided to close his eyes hoping that all this was just a dream, but he could not deny that the events he was experiencing now were so real to him.
But the hope he had now became dashed, a cold palm now touching his face.
"Wahhhhhhhkkkgg!!!! Don't eat me, I'm bitter!!!!"
