22. Help Arrives

When Aryo was still pensive with his confusion he was startled by the cries of the stranger. That person was blabbering as if he was angry towards them but the language he spoke was not the slightest bit Aryo understood. Aryo turned towards the old man and realized the expression of the old man was also the same as him.

“Uncle should we postpone this problem until we find the bright spot of all this. Since I believe this stranger must be working for our opponent!”, Aryo opened his voice after the stranger stopped blabbering.

“Good young master. You guys quickly plop this guy's mouth and cover his head using a black cloth back!” replied the old man and ordered the men to secure the foreigners they were currently holding hostage.

Not wanting to linger in the room, Aryo and the old man then moved out of the room leaving several guards who were carrying out the orders of the old man just now. But not long after there was a soldier who came from the direction of the gate and reported that from the outside of the gate saw a lot of armed soldiers complete with horse riding were heading towards their headquarters.

The rumbling sound of horse footsteps rang out from a distance, the faint sound grew louder and began to be followed by thousands of figures slowly revealing their true selves. A pretty amazing sight where some of the riders came close to the rebel headquarters quickly as if they were used to the conditions on the ground.

They rode horses and lined up neatly with spear weapons in the left hand while the right hand held the reins of each horse. Rebel troops were stunned to see that, they just this time saw a horse troop that was so gallant and looked very stunning.

Aryo and the old man climbed the fortress at the front gate, when both arrived the horsemen had stopped and now their distance was only a few dozen meters from the fort. From that distance Aryo could see a gallant man advancing slowly towards the gate with his horse with a white spear in his right hand, in contrast to the spear used by the cavalry behind him.

Slowly the man came forward and when he felt close to the fortress he stopped and immediately looked towards Aryo.

“Greetings, we are an army of iron horses from the kingdom of Gundala the messenger of king Gandi. I'm Patih Purno the leader of this army ready to serve young lord Aryo”, the gallant man introduced himself with his voice.

Now Aryo and the old man understand who they are meeting and after knowing that they are friends finally on the orders of Aryo the gate is opened and ask that the horsemen of the kingdom of Gundala enter into rebel headquarters.

Aryo and the old man immediately went down and intended to approach Patih Purno. When the two of them until they give greetings to each other and Aryo began to lead the way to a special room to serve guests.

“Please sit Patih”, said Aryo after arriving in the room.

“Thank you young master”, Patih Purno replied briefly and immediately sat down on the chair that had been prepared.

“How did Patih get here? Is everything okay?”, Aryo asked.

“Journey here is quite tiring but we managed to arrive earlier than the time we planned at the beginning”, Patih Purno replied while telling about their journey to get to the rebel headquarters.

Aryo and the old man now realize that Patih Purno is a person who is very happy to talk, even he does not hesitate to laugh freely while patting Aryo's shoulder which should be the person he serves now.

Aryo smiled and could only reply with a laugh, it turns out that behind the attitude of Patih Purno just now he also has a witty nature. When the room that was originally just silent is now filled with laughter because the joke told by Patih Purno makes their stomach hurt from laughing without stopping.

The three continued to talk starting from introducing themselves to discussing the war problem they would face soon. Patih Purno listened seriously and at the same time expressed his opinion about some elements to be used as a strategy in the war. This is very necessary because in every army must have harmony so that the plan that has been arranged will continue to be connected.

Aryo and the old man were surprised by the fish change from Patih Purno who initially laughed cheerfully now suddenly became serious in an instant when discussing the issue of war. Aryo was made to shake his head because he found a comrade in arms who had two characters at once.

This is true, Patih Purno is the head of the horsemen of the kingdom of Gundala who are notoriously valiant and not afraid of opponents. This is based on his mentality which is honed from childhood as a soldier and a true warrior who will not run from any fight.

And the more amazing thing is that Patih Purno himself is a confidant of king Gandi in terms of strategy in war. Thanks to the kingdom of Gundala managed to defend their position from various threats of small and large kingdoms even they had faced with the kingdom of Obstacles which is famous as a lustful kingdom of war and ended in a draw.

“Patih's help is very meaningful for us, thanks for the information that Patih has given”, Aryo salutes Patih Purno.

“It is my obligation young master over the mandate of our king”, Patih Purno replied briefly while replying respectfully to Aryo.

“Young master it is time to rest, discussion can we continue again. Maybe Patih Purno needs a break”, invite old men not to miss.

Aryo nodded his head in understanding and immediately led Patih Purno to the room he had prepared for him. The three of them started to go out and head for the room that would be used to rest. While walking Patih Purno observed the situation at the rebel headquarters, and after a while they finally reached the room.

“Please enter to rest Patih” said the old man to Patih Purno.

“Thank you for the hospitality”, reply Patih Purno briefly.

“If there are things that are needed do not hesitate to contact us Patih, Patih can contact us through the soldiers who guard here”, said Aryo added.

“Thank you young master”, reply Patih Purno back.

Patih Purno saluted and then stepped into the room to rest. When Patih Purno had entered Aryo and the old man turned around and left the room. They did not know that while walking towards the room the view of Patih Purno was focused on one room that was guarded so tightly by the soldiers.

Patih Purno did not immediately break once inside his room, the room that was heavily guarded by the soldiers was so impregnated and raised a huge question mark on his mind. He intends to ask Aryo but he prefers to shut up first and ask when the time is right.

“I was so amazed by the knowledge of Patih Purno uncle”, Aryo commented with a face so carefree.

Naturally his face is currently so excited, because before when Aryo and the old man planned a strategy in the war there are obstacles that make them difficult in finding a way out. But when Patih Purno gave his opinion the problem could really be solved easily.

“True young master, Patih Purno is really a smart person. With his arrival our troops can get stronger both in mental and insight”, replied the old man while looking at the sky.

“I also hope like that uncle”, reply Aryo and do the same with old man.
