The Fate of Adipura Kingdom

The Fate of Adipura Kingdom
12. Kanda Pamit's

The past events flashed so quickly like the night wind that made his body tremble. Since then Aryo lived in hiding from the pursuit of the Adipura royal forces ruled by the king of Jaka.

Hope will demand revenge for what the invaders have done that he knows is the kingdom of Obstacles so hot on his chest. He promised himself that he would fulfill that hope at all costs.

He also heard from some residents conversations that the dead bodies of his father and some of his father were hanging at the palace gate. Soon after, Jaka announced that he was the new king of the kingdom of Adipura.

While the corpse of the soldier was burned in a large hole like a burning of cattle to be used as a fall to the god. It was a great humiliation and Aryo swore he would repay the deed.

“I will prepare, wait here briefly”, Aryo asked the old man to wait for him for a while.

The old man understood what he was doing, “Good young master”, after answering an order from Aryo he then stood up and went out of the house after saluting Aryo.

Aryo walked into the room with a blank look and he unintentionally ignored his wife who had been staring at him worriedly. Sinta could see that blank look, anxious feelings towards her husband now began to arise.

As for knowing the meaning of the blank stare, her husband now suffers from the problems that continue to come to their lives. Not only the incident of the attack that made her husband sad, but after the incident the citizens and the rest of the soldiers who were caught or surrendered were made slaves to work without being paid at all by the attackers.

The people cannot do anything because if they fight the fatal consequences later. People who initially lived prosperous and prosperous eventually had to survive to survive from hunger even they did not hesitate to kill their neighbors for a bite of rice.

Sinta looked at her husband who was sitting and crying facing out the window, she immediately hugged her husband to calm him down, "Kanda.", she said softly.

He began to wipe away the falling tears and gently wet Aryo's cheeks. Sinta's tenderness finally made Aryo calm down and started to stop crying.

“Dinda, is kanda a good king? And is kanda a good husband?”, the question spontaneously came out of Aryo's mouth and made Sinta surprised.

“Kanda, of all the kings I know, Kanda is the best king and understands the state of his people. When the people are in distress, we will not hesitate to help and when people ask for opinions, we provide the right direction and solutions so that the people have great respect for kanda. And as the husband kanda always be the best, dinda just want kanda and there will never be another”, Sinta answers questions from her husband with a gentle tone ending her typical sweet smile for Aryo.

“Thank you for being present in kanda dinda”'s life, Aryo started rubbing his watery eyes, "If no dinda maybe kanda's life is meaningless now", he continued.

Sinta answered with a nod of her head and kissed her husband's forehead, now Aryo's feeling of being upset finally slowly began to calm down.

After calm Aryo requested that Sinta help him prepare the clothes he would bring to go to the headquarters of the rebel forces he led thanks to help from the kingdoms of Gundala, Surka, and Benggawan.

These three kingdoms were willing to lend a hand to Aryo to demand revenge for the actions of the king of Jaka who was assisted by the kingdom of Obstacles.

“Dinda will wait for kanda's return here. Be careful there kanda, may the gods join the journey kanda”, Sinta return the hug warmly.

It feels really hard when you have to part with a wife who is currently pregnant and in the near future will soon give birth. Aryo is worried that things will happen to his wife, but Sinta again calms and assures Aryo that he will always be fine until the day of labor arrives.

After being reassured by his wife, Aryo's heart calmed down again and he established himself to immediately go to his headquarters considering that this trip will take half a day to get there. Aryo rode a horse that had been prepared by an elderly man, "Thank you uncle", Aryo told the elderly man.

"By the pleasure of the young master", the old man replied to the words of Aryo. Afterwards the two of them rode on their horses each preparing to leave for the rebel headquarters.

Aryo stared at his wife, although he had to go, fear would always follow him. Do not want to feel burdened when on the trip he then handed the keris naikanya that is Bagaskara keris to his wife.

"Save this kris, he'll take care of you dinda", Aryo pinta told Sinta.

At first Sinta wanted to refuse because the kris was a valuable item that was always used by her husband under any circumstances, but Aryo insisted that his wife. Sinta had no choice, she finally accepted the inheritance at the request of her husband.

After handing over the kris Aryo immediately spur his horse along with the old man, within minutes Aryo and the old man had disappeared from Sinta's sight.

“God, I leave the way of life that you have made against us”, Sinta's spontaneous speech came out after her husband was lost from her sight.

In her prayer Sinta asked that her husband be safe and keep the promise they had agreed together.

The wind blows strongly indicating that there will be heavy rain, lightning struck by making a loud bang. Sinta immediately entered the house and locked the doors and windows, her feelings became bad because of this celestial phenomenon.

Not long after that the sky turned dark and lightning continued to strike along with the speck of rain that slowly began to become dense. Even before that day was still day but immediately turned into a dark night decorated with rain and lightning that seemed to be interconnected.

Aryo and the old man spurred their horses in the heavy rain and the loud sound of lightning striking. Just this time they felt this heavy rain as if the sky was lowering a reservoir of water that had been dammed for a long time.

Even on their way several times they both met residents who were displaced due to flooded villages from high rainfall.

Children, women and the elderly are in great fear, while adult men try to help as they can. The citizens consider today's events because of the wrath of the gods because there has never been an incident like this before, not a few of them cry and look desperate because of this incident.
