"Excuse me sir, where are you going? Let me help you" one of the female nurses scolded, seeing Rahul walking alone in the corridor with his hands fumbling through the air.
"Who are you?"
"I'm a nurse here sir"
"Oh.. euum.. I. I was looking for" Rahul looked nervous and misbehaved. He was confused as to what answer to give.
Actually, he could have answered what it was. Or just ask the nurse, about the nurse named Zahra who was in the hospital. Maybe he knew her, or maybe he was a friend.
But he felt too embarrassed to admit that he was looking for the woman to apologize.
"You're looking for someone sir?"
"Euum. I was looking for a canteen. Yes looking for a canteen" in the midst of nervousness and confusion in evading, Rahul finally found the right answer or reason so that the nurse did not know his true purpose.
Although actually the canteen is not entirely a reason or fabricate. Because come to think of it as noon, it's lunch time. So it's possible, the woman was in the cafeteria to fill her stomach. Not sure about one hundred percent. But it doesn't hurt to try?
"Oh, you want a bag? Let me take you sir"
"No, I can do it myself. You. I just know where it leads. Let me try it myself"
"You sure you can be alone, without the need for me to accompany?" the nurse was worried.
"Yes I'm sure" Rahul replied firmly.
Not wanting to argue anymore, the woman relented. Finally he only helped Rahul, by giving instructions on the path he had to go to get to Kantin. Rahul arrived there by following the nurse's instructions.
"Hello handsome!" reprimand a girl with her centile, when she saw the figure of a handsome man standing in front of the entrance of the canteen.
"Who are you?"
"I? Who do you want me to be? If you're Ajay Devgan, I'm Kajolnya. If you are Abhishek Bachchan, I am Aishwarya Rainya. If you're Salman Khan, I'm Katrina Kaifnya. If you're Saif Ali Khan, I'm Kareena Kapoor. If you're Ranbir Kapoor, I'm Alia Bhattnya. If you.." said the woman while struggling with Rahul with his flirtatious.
"I'm Rahul." Rahul said as he tried to release the woman's hand that was coiled around his arm.
"Waw....! Then I am Anjalia! Hopefully there will never be a Tinna between us huh. Rahul, Anal..hehe!" the woman pointed at Rahul and herself.
"Kya Karu hai yeh, kuch kuch hota hai.." he hummed ria, while his two hands further furrowed Rahul's arms tightly. Sometimes he rests his head on Rahul's boat. Makes the man more uncomfortable and careless.
Finally Rahul pulled his arm from the twisting of the flirtatious woman's hand and turned. But he hit the banner in front of him.
PRAKK!!
"God, careful!" exclaim the woman while helping Rahul take and put the banner to its place again.
But a few minutes later, he looked at Rahul. Looks like the girl is starting to realize something. To make sure, he shook his hands in front of Rahul's face.
"OMG, so I was teasing a blind man? Oh no-no-no. But if blind anyway. ilfil also be. Cook a girl as beautiful as Ida, can sibuta from the ghost valley" muttered the woman named Ida whose voice penetrated Rahul's ears.
Feeling hurt by the words of the flirtatious woman, whose contents lowered her physical limitations, as she had always accepted so far. But this time Rahul did not want to be provoked by emotions and make a fuss again. Especially if he is in a public place. Perhaps it was time for him to face the ridicule and scorn with a cold head. Not with emotion anymore.
Especially at this time, his main priority was to meet that nurse named Zahra. Not a waste of time for this crazy woman.
"Are you a nurse here?"
"No, I'm one of the canteen traders here" Ida's tone that previously sounded soft, full of seduction and chattering now sounded a bit tart after she knew that the handsome man in front of her was blind.
"So your job here is to serve everyone with the food and drink you sell, or to serve only the men who come here with your temptations? If the answer is in the first question, could you please make me a fresh drink? I was so thirsty after receiving such a boring welcome just now"
rahul's relaxed tone sounded very spicy in Ida's ears. Enough to make the girl feel embarrassed and upset.
"Well, what do you want to drink? " answered Ida with a sour face, feeling unaccepted with Rahul's banter.
"Milk tea Boba only if there is one"
"Well, wait a minute" Ida turned around.
"Thank you" Rahul smiled cynically.
"Huh basic. Blind, annoying again" he murmured as he walked.
"Sorry, sorry Ida. I didn't accidentally" exclaimed the nurse kindly.
Rahul gasped to hear a very familiar voice in his ears.
"Yes Sus, it's okay" said Ida bland.
"Zahrah!!" exclaimed one of the women in nurse uniform while waving her hand. The woman was seen gathering with several other female nurses in the middle of the canteen.
"Hey!!" Zahra replied to the hand and scattered towards her colleagues with a sigh.
Rahul becomes convinced that the voice belongs to the girl he is looking for. He turned his body against the wall. Hoping with such a position, the girl would not see and be aware of its existence.
Rahul's intention, which had previously wanted to meet Zahra, was now undo. Because it seems like this is not the right time. The girl was with her friends.
"It's so long Ra? We've been waiting for it" protested one of them.
"I'm sorry, my patient was so fussy. So I had to wait for him to really fall asleep first. Just left" Zahra pulled the chair and sat down on it.
"Yes the ideal Sister" Goda Mimi, one of Zahra's friends.
"Apaan the Mi. I was thirsty and hungry. Miss Mirna!" Zahra raised her right hand to call the canteen trader.
"Mom, avocado juice and dumpling noodles one yes" the message was friendly and polite.
"Yes Sus, wait a minute yes" said the canteen trader's mother then passed.
"Yes"
"Oh yeah Ra. By the way, how's he doing?" Rahma smiled seductively.
"Him? she who?" asked Zahra with a plain look. I don't understand who his friend meant.
"Heuh, there are people who want to play turtles in this boat. Pretend you don't know. That's your favorite patient whose good looks are almost on par with those Bollywood actors. Have you been shot yet?" timpal Maudy with a wicked smile.
"Buronan shot" Zahra threw a tissue that had been squeezed into the face of Maudy who swiftly made his hand as a shield, so that the tissue did not hit his face that still showed a nosy smile.
"Your imagination is too far away. Just make sure you know for yourself, how I relate to her. Just the nurses and the patients, nothing more. So there is no need to think strangely" Zahra stressed.
"If he shot you, how? will you accept, or reject it?" Wirda's following kepo.
"That's never gonna happen. I admit he is as handsome as those Bollywood actors. But unfortunately....."
"He's blind, is that the problem? Come to think of it, your reasoning is quite reasonable as well. Life has to be realistic. Nowadays good looks are not the main capital of a man, to be able to enter the criteria of a dream husband. A man should be macho man. It should be a protective wing for your life partner. So if looking just can't, how will he protect his woman? didn't you?"
babble Mimi gave her opinion. That was answered with a nod of the heads of his three friends, except Zahra.
Rahul, who had clearly heard the conversation of the girls, clenched his hands with his mouth tightly clenched, restraining his anger. A feeling of disappointment and anger filled his chest cavity again. It seemed like his intention to meet and apologize to the woman was the wrong intention.
He had thought, if the girl was different from the people who had been looking at her physical condition with one eye. Apparently not, he's the same as all of them.
Akh!..why could he be so naive. To think that there are still people in this world, which can be used as a place to complain. He should have realized that there would never be a place from anyone in the world for someone like him. Even his family is no exception.
When his own family just does not want to make their shoulders as a place to lean, maybe he is crazy if he thinks he will get it from others. This was indeed his fault that was too lulled by the words of the woman's philosophy. Rahul closed his eyes and let out a heavy sigh.
He took a step to leave the canteen. But at once his steps were stopped by the statement made by Zahra.
"Unfortunately I disagree with you. To me, a man of dreams comes not from his good looks or physical perfection, but from his heart. My mother said that no physical beauty and good looks are everlasting. One day it could be ruined by time. Not with his heart and love. My mother always said, a dream man is a man who can love and appreciate a woman with his heart. He can be a good priest for his life partner. As well as being able to guide his small family to always be on the right path. And he should be able to love and accept me for who I am, and vice versa"
Zahra said with a glaring look. His words sounded very deep. Makes Rahul amazed to hear it.
"Although he's handicapped?" ask Wirda to make sure.
"If he is the soul mate God has prepared for me, then what can I do? I'm sure God designed a beautiful destiny for me. Because something that looks bad in our eyes, not necessarily bad in the eyes of God, and vice versa" said Zahra confidently.
Rahul is moved by the girl's philosophy. He really did not expect that the woman would have such a wise and insular point of view. How lucky a man is to be able to challenge such a woman.
"Heuuum..so sweeeet.." chirped Rahma with her gurgle.
