The Bond of Our Love

The Bond of Our Love
CHAPTER 17 - Peace With Destiny

"Yes, because you are my friend. So I feel, I have a duty to protect you from immoral acts. You and your mother have helped me a lot. Cook me up, when someone hurts you"

Temptation thrown by Zahra managed to make Rahul misbehaved.

"What cooking?"

"Of course"

"Heum. But yes, it's important that the son of a bitch Amar has been taught a lesson, let's know the taste. You bastard, no husband, just touch my body" said Zahra.

"If I were your husband, would I be able to hold the part held by Amar?" Rahul asked without shame. Dirty thoughts began to dominate his head a little, making Zahra again scowl so upset, until he pinched the stomach hard Rahul.

"Aawws! Oh, my God, you really are. It could not be, so the girl is sweet, weak, soft, calm, elegant. Don't bar-bar like a market thug" Rahul lamented.

"Eat him, so men don't pervert. Just now the support lectured and gave Amar a lesson. Turns out you're the same as him, eleven twelve" sewot Zahra.

"Just liken me to them. Yeah, obviously"

"What difference?"

"I'm just a theory, different from those who practice directly" Rahul said with a look.

"Uh.. basic" Zahra hit Rahul's shoulder which only replied to him with a rancid smile.

"Oh yes, thank you"

"Huh? what did you say just now? Thank me?didn't I hear wrong?" Rahul furrowed his brows.

"Yes, you've defended and helped me out of those three jerks. So I'm thanking you dong"

"That means we're even now?"

"Huh, break even?"

"Yes. Didn't you ever say that I had to do something that made you happy. Who made you thank me?"

"Just son, it's not that easy. Remember how many times you thanked me, and how many times did I say it? That's called breakeven"

"Keep, what else do I do?"

"Yes whatever, the important thing is I'm happy. Just think for yourself. Oh yeah, I got something for you from Mom. Want to be handed over at home, but the forgetfulness is so cool we argue" Zahra reached into her skirt pocket, took something in it.

"Think arguing it's a game, can make it fun? You strange girl" Rahul's murmur heard by Zahra again made the girl scowl.

"Start, begin. Want to be pinched again, or not flushed again?" Zahra linked her thumb and middle finger to the front of Rahul. Trying threatening.

"Yes, I was silent. Now what do you want to give me?" Rahul.

"Nih" Zahra took Rahul's hand and placed it on the object in his hand.

"What'sthis? How does it look like.... flute?" Rahul held the object with his right hand and fumbled it with his left.

"Indeed it's a flute. It belonged to my late father. All this time, the flute had been my mother's favorite. Because there's a lot of memories of Dad on that flute"

"If this flute is something that means a lot to your mother, why give it to me. Which incidentally, is still a stranger to you?"

"I told Mother the beginning of our meeting last night. How you sang, playing guitar in the hospital room, to get my forgiveness. I remember the beginning of my meeting with Dad. He said he used to do things that made Mom angry. Until I feel so guilty. For the sake of getting sorry from Mom, Dad played flute on the river bank. He said, so that the nuance of Radha Krishna is like that"

"There is a river in this village?"

"Why? You wanna go there?"

"You want to accompany me there"

"Yes, how else? Instead of dying curious. Then your spirit floated in the river, because I did not accompany there. Kan kasian will be, the villagers here"

"Gosh Miss. Your imagination is too high, apparently yes. It was as if my handsome man would die curious, and become a ghost. You didn't? you're better suited to writing horror stories, rather than being a nurse"

"If I were a horror writer, I'd make your screenplay the ghost, the creepiest and most terrifying. That way no one will dare to be close to you. Already, let's go. Don't keep babbling"

Zahra got up from her seat and straightened her legs.

"Truly a strange girl. Obviously, he himself who was stirring is not clear. Now I blame even me. Huh...." Rahul muttered and sighed heavily.

"Come, here. Watch out carefully, the rocks are a bit slippery" Zahra said giving a cue as she guided Rahul to walk, climbing a river dominated by large granite rocks.

"Yes yes" Rahul responded as he walked slowly by fumbling forward, and tapping his staff between the water and the river rocks.

Shortly after, they sat on a large rock, near the green and shady trees that waded them from the hot sun.

"Huh" Zahra sighed with her sigh stretching her face.

"How, can you feel the freshness and beauty of nature in this place?" then look at Rahul.

"Yes, I can feel the air that feels cool and fresh, the sound of birds chirping, the rumbling sound of water falling from a height and. I can feel the splash of water hit my face this" Rahul rubbed his face with his palm. The look on his face, no less cheerful than Zahra.

"Yes, the natural scenery is indeed very beautiful. Until it makes anyone feel at home to linger here"

"It's a shame I can't see. If I could, it would be fun. Because I can see it directly. The waterfall that falls from a height, flows into the river below, by hitting the rocks. But baby, I can only feel it"

Rahul said softly, then lowered his face. Zahra looked at Rahul with empathy. He could understand how the man felt. Zahra clasped Rahul's fingers gently.

"There's me. I can see what you want to see. I can be your eyes. So, never be discouraged again"

Rahul smiled when he heard Zahra's words. Only this girl could make her feelings calm. He was so grateful to be able to meet a girl as sincere and simple as this. Although his nature is a little bar-bar, but not with his heart that is so soft and loving.

He always felt that God was unfair to him. But not for now. He felt that God had given him justice.

People say, there is always wisdom behind every disaster that whacks. He used to assume that the words were just fictitious that were never true. But not for now.

If Zahra is the wisdom that has been prepared behind the calamity, then from now on, she will make peace with the destiny that has been outlined for her joyfully.

"Did you come here often?" Rahul switched topics.

"He em's. This is my favorite place. You could say, this is where I calm my mind. Whenever there is a problem. Which I can't share with anyone else" Zahra put her face back on. Enjoying the freshness and beauty of nature presented in front of him.

"Oh yeah? What do you do, every time you come here?" asked Rahul curiously.

"Screaming"

"Huh, scream?" Rahul knitted his brows.

"He em, want to know how? Like this, arrrrrggghhhhhh!!!" Zahra shouted as loud as she could.

The voice of the woman's screams that felt quite deafening, making Rahul have to cover his pair of ears.

"Gosh, is this what you do every time you come here, to calm down?"Rahul asked half in disbelief.

"Yes. Instead of me being so angry and not being clear, I'd rather be screaming here. On the green and shady trees, which protected me from the scorching sun. Sturdy and high cliffs, which drain clear liquid as a filler of the river below. Large and mossy granite stones that complement this river. Rather than me doing crazy things like drinking. It's haram"

Rahul admired Zahra's figure. Even he felt ashamed when comparing himself to himself, who always leaned on the drink, whenever his mind was in a mess. Especially during these two and a half years. Only drinks became friends in the dark.

And when he could still see. Not infrequently he plays with women in bed to satisfy his desires. And he does it every time his mind is upset.

But now he realized that it was all a sin. And that's thanks to Zahra. The woman had already managed to open her eyes. And lead him to the right path.

"Then, I want to try it too" Rahul became interested.

"Just try it"

"Adrrrggghhhhh!!!" Rahul shouted out loud. Now it was Zahra's turn to cover her ears. Because the voice of the man's cry was more powerful than his scream. Both of them laughed out loud.

Exciting chat and the atmosphere of nature is fresh and beautiful, making them complacent to continue in that place. Enjoy the beauty of the waterfall that falls from a sturdy cliff with a height of 100 meters, and is set against the background by the river.

Rahul enthusiastically tries Zahra's father's flute, which is now his property. Although it is still foreign to the type of wind instrument, and the first time to play it. But it turns out he was quickly proficient in blowing and playing the device to produce a melodious sound.

Zahra really enjoyed the music coming out of the flute. Plus, the charm of the flute player. It seemed to have hypnotized his eyes and heart.

It seemed, she was already in love with that man. Just this time, there was a man who was able to stir his heart. Able to make him unable to turn.

Even though he himself did not know how the man felt about her. Was he considered a friend or something?

I don't know, he also doesn't want to be too dizzy about it. Let everything go as it is like running water. They also just got to know.

While Rahul is getting cool with his flute game. They walked down the iron bridge of the river happily.
