The Bond of Our Love

The Bond of Our Love
CHAPTER 42 - The Life of a Dawn

Two days later, Zahra was finally allowed to leave the hospital. Believing in the words of Dawn who claimed to be her husband, Zahra inevitably had to follow wherever he took her.

"Let's go in" Take Fajar while opening the door of his house.

Zahra stared at the luxurious, large and spacious mansion in a daze. He felt very foreign to the house. Perhaps because she was losing her memory, so nothing could make her feel comfortable for now, including her husband and her own home.

"This is your house?"

"Yes, rather, our home"

Three women in waiter uniforms approached and bowed before them, as a sign of respect.

"Eh.... Sir, Madam, you've arrived. Thank God, the lady is out of the hospital. How are you doing now, ma'am, how are you feeling?"

A middle-aged woman, one of the three servants spoke politely, and was as familiar as Zahra. Making Zahra even more have no reason not to believe the recognition of Dawn as her husband.

Still confused and in a daze, he finally glanced at Dawn. "Brist, who are they?"

"They're all servants who work in this house to help and take care of you. This is Miss Olive, she's the butler of this house" Dawn pointed to the old woman who had just spoken to Zahra.

Then he pointed to the two young servants standing behind Olive Lady. "It's Rita and this is Fina" They all smiled respectfully as they exchanged glances with Zahra.

"We were very anxious when we got word that Mrs had an accident. But thank God, now the condition of the Madam and the baby in the womb is fine. Is there any part of the Madam's body that still hurts?" Ask a waiter named Rita. The way he spoke, it sounded like he was familiar with Zahra.

"Mmmm.... No, only my head still hurts sometimes. Besides, I'm sorry, I don't remember anything about you either. I feel like I don't know you" Zahra replied clumsyly and absentmindedly.

"No problem, ma'am. Sir told me everything, if Madam lost her memory. So we can understand him" Timpal Fina.

"Yes, better now you go to the room. You still have to rest a lot and should not be too tired, because it is still in recovery. Olive, please take Shreya to her room" Pinta Fajar.

"Good Sir. Come, madam, follow me" As Dawn commanded, Olivet invited Zahra to follow him to the second floor.

Once on the second floor, Olive immediately invited Zahra to her room.

"Please enter the Madam" With great respect, the middle-aged woman invited Zahra to enter a room after opening the door.

Zahra was flabbergasted staring at the room with shades of white and gold that were super luxurious and spacious. The entire room was dominated by a shiny golden color, ranging from beds, wall hangings, glass decoration, table decoration, curtains, seat fringes, chairs, the sit-up lamp stand and the crystal chandelier installed in the ceiling are gold in color, and hang right between the cots.

"This is my room?"

"Yes, ma'am, this is your room"

"What's.... I slept here all this time?"

"Yes"

"Together with Dawn?" Zahra asked doubtfully.

"Yes of course. You are husband and wife"

Zahra. I don't know why he feels foreign to everything in this place, both home and residents. Though he could feel if they were all good people, including Dawn.

But his heart felt doubt about his relationship with the man, even though he had seen the evidence that they were a married couple. What's really wrong with him?

"Is there anything the Madam needs? Let me bring it here later" Barat Bu Olives who was worried to see Zahra was confused.

"Mmmm.... No need. I just want to rest" replied Zahra blandly.

"Yes already then, I'm allowed to go out first Madam. If you ever need anything, just call me"

"Yes"

The butler left Zahra alone in the room to rest.

*******

A flash of memory appears and sneaks into the subconscious of Zahra, to become a dream that makes his sleep is not sound.

In the dream, he saw himself running in fear amidst the torrent of rain while pushing the wheelchair of a woman he did not know. Until the water waves crashing and drowning him.

The shadow looked faint and gray to the point of being indistinct. But he clearly heard her voice and the woman was crying and screaming for help.

He woke up and sat on the bed. His breath was breathless and cold sweat seemed to drench all over his body. His head hurts. It was a strange, yet terrible dream.

Finally he decided to get out of the room and head for the stairs that would take him to the first floor.

"Eh, is the madam awake? Does Madam need anything, let me prepare?" Tegur Rita was friendly when she saw Zahra coming down the stairs.

"Mmmm..... No. gabe. I just wanted to ask, Dawn where is it? I didn't see Zahra staring around her.

"If not wrong, from this afternoon you are in his office. It seems he is busy. Is the madam going there?"

"Yes but..... Where's the study?" Zahra asked confusedly.

"Let's come with me, ma'am, let me deliver"

Zahra nodded and accepted the servant's offer to take him to meet Dawn.

*******

Dawn is sleeping in her office. The handsome man seemed to be sleeping soundly with the position of the body on the chair, while the head was wrapped in a shirt with both hands as a cushion.

He woke up when he felt someone approaching him. It turned out that Miss Olives was putting a tray containing a cup of tea near her.

"Eh.... Miss Olives. Since when have you been here?" Dawn rubbed her eyes that had just opened.

"Just young master. Sorry sir, I knocked on the door, but there was no answer. That's why I just go in. Uh, apparently sir is sleeping. It looks like you're tired, huh?"

"Yes Mom, I'm busy today. Had to research some documents for the drugs to be launched next week. Oh yeah, is he asleep?" Said Fajar while tidying up the documents on his desk.

"Yes, sir, I gave him dinner and medicine just like you said"

"Goodoo. Oh yeah, I still remind you, our conversation was the other day before he came here? No one in this house should be flabbergasted, let alone telling her if she wasn't Shreya" Dawn reminded in a serious tone of voice.

"Yes my Master remembers, and I understand. I have also reminded all workers in this house, both servants, drivers and security officers. I wanted to be careful when I talked to him"

"Good then. Thank you for the cooperation, ma'am" Fajar smiled happily.

"Yes Sir. Oh yeah, can I ask you something?"

"What?"

"As for that woman, do you like her?" Olive asked by probing.

"I mean Mom?" Fajar scrunched his forehead.

"Sorry Master, as a person who has known you since childhood, I have never seen the Lord as concerned for a woman, except for the late young Madame Shreya. And, ever since the young Madam died a few months ago, you have looked so devastated and guilty, for there was no time for Madam, until the accident occurred.

From that moment on I have always seen Master acting coldly towards every woman who tries to get close to Master. Master did not give the slightest chance to them to replace the position of Lady Shreya in the heart of Mister. But that woman, I saw the way Master looked at her, almost the same way that Master looked at Madam Shreya. What does that mean, slowly you can start moving on, from Madam Shreya? That's why you don't hesitate to give the young Madam's identity to that woman?"

Miss Olive expressed her uneg-unegs slowly. The middle-aged woman had been working with the Dawn family since the man was 12 years old.

Dawn also considered the woman of about fifty years old like her own mother. Because both of his parents were gone in an accident when Fajr was twenty years old.

He was in Switzerland, and their relationship was not good because the woman who had given birth to her father, never approved the marriage of his son with his mother Fajar.

Dawn never dizzy with the attitude of his grandmother. He only lived his life with a focus on managing and leading the hospital, as well as his family-owned pharmaceutical company.

Six years ago, he met Shreya. Precisely when he was studying S3 faculty of medicine in New Delhi.

Beautiful woman named Shreya Khanna, who is a descendant of Hindustan also happened to be studying S1 psychology faculty at the same university as him at that time.

The two dated for four years before deciding to continue their relationship.

But before that, Shreya had also decided to abandon his old beliefs, and embraced the same beliefs as Dawn. Until their marriage can run smoothly without any obstacles.

But dear one thousand dear, Shreya had to breathe her last breath in a state of being pregnant with the fruit of their love ten months ago.

From that moment on the world of Dawn collapsed. He was like a figure who had no soul and passion, with a look of sadness that was always visible on his face. Deep regret he felt, because he could not accompany his wife until the fateful event that killed his beloved woman.

Not infrequently, his young master always spent time alone while drinking.

But for these few days precisely after the woman's presence, Olive Lady looked back at the aura of happiness and joy in her master.
