The Black Pirates

The Black Pirates
CH. 70 – Past Chapters: Goodbye

Tabra was telling me about Gopoh. His fast hunting breath makes Akma Jaya unable to digest clearly every word he says.

“Tabra, try to calm down and say slowly!” Akma Jaya stopped Tabra's irregular voice. I don't know why he couldn't digest it in the sense of understanding every word Tabra said.

For a moment, Tabra held his mouth, stopped his story, while Adfain was still listening and waiting for the continuation of the story Tabra.

“Consider..” Akma Jaya told him in a slow tone, not rude.

Tabra nodded. “Alright, Captain.”

“When I walked through this village, I continued to walk through it to one of the markets, I bought a treasure map from an old grandfather who sold antique objects, and I bought a treasure map from a man, rare treasure map that is very difficult to obtain!” Tabra told it as it happened.

“So apparently? Then what's next you want to say?” answer Akma Jaya succinctly. With all those answers he quite understood how Tabra's story was.

“Begini, Captain. It is said that the story he told me there was a ship that sailed, the ship was stranded on one of the islands with a lot of treasure, until he decided to put his property on the island, he said, he drew himself this map with the skills of a pirate captain!”

Tabra told me exactly what the old man had told him. He doesn't know the truth.

Adfain just smiled. “This map is a regular map that is sold freely anywhere, not a real treasure map.” Adfain explained at the time.

Tabra heard him not believing. “Hey, do you know where you're from? Don't say it carelessly!” Tabra said quickly.

“Do not lie in front of me,” continued Tabra staring at Adfain who just said.

“I'm not lying, Tabra.” Adfain replied after that asking to see the map.

Tabra doesn't want to give it. Akma Jaya spoke, “Give the map to Adfain, let him check it.”

By following that hand style, Akma Jaya persuaded Tabra. There was no other choice for him, although Tabra had to finally give the map to Adfain.

Adfain received the map which was a scroll and opened it. He noticed and then explained.

“Not wrong again, this is just a picture of his own making and he sells by mentioning antiques. I've got a lot of maps at home in this place, actually traders you mean I know him. He is Jaidas, an old grandfather who sells antiques that are not antiques. He is only good at making ruse, making up stories and deceiving buyers with it. The map and the story you just heard include the story of the essay, however there is actually a real map, obviously this is not the map.”

Adfain again gave the map he had just seen to Tabra. After hearing that in Tabra's heart was a feeling of trust.

He just made sure, “Is really all you said that? Old grandpa's a con man? Insolent, it means I have been deceived.”

The map was quite expensive. Making a swap tool in his pants pocket reduces a lot, dries deflated.

“It's okay, just assume you're giving alms, Tabra.” Akma Jaya entertains.

Adfain said, “Jaidas did all that indeed because of the economy that made him a scammer trader. He offered a high price and tricked people with his trickery. My advice before buying something, it would be nice for the item you are meticulous about the truth first.” Adfain explained with a mixture of hand styles like people are making a speech.

Tabra was flat-faced the moment before hearing Adfain's words that sounded smart-ass. He didn't answer.

Adfain continued. “Among these islands, you should know, Tabra. The old Jaidas always cheated a lot of people, if I told him how he was and what had happened. Habits that he likes to deceive people, I was surprised by him that.”

Akma Jaya. “Tabra, we are just a newcomer, already we should behave and appreciate them.”

“You have heard about the economy in this village, it turns out that their economy is bad, making people suffer and forced to do various ways to stomach and eye image. Surely said one of the possessions and food is a person's heaven, it can even be hell.”

Tabra gulps. “I understand, Captain. I feel it's okay.”

“Just this conman problem..” Tabra stopped talking about it.

“It's okay, we save that map as a memento.” Akma Jaya recalls and Tabra recites.

Tabra looked at Adfain. “And you, Adfain. You talk like a smart ass, telling the scrupulous. How could I possibly know all that? Whereas he told the history like it was real and made me interested in buying it.”

Tabra misunderstands what Adfain said. After that he let out a long, very long breath. It seemed like he was being so sorry for having bought the treasure map.

“Tabra, don't think about it too much again, you better rest.” Akma Jaya can understand that, feeling tired and depressed is better taken to rest.

Tabra is now too tired to make him believe without thinking and hearing Adfain's words that he so dislikes, judging smart ass and so on. He wasn't thinking. Is the story true or not? Is the map real or fake? Obviously at that time he did not think about it and instead immediately bought it.

“Alright, Captain. I will rest,” said Tabra left the place and in front of Akma Jaya, also Adfain.

In that place left the two of them talking to each other. They mention the various words they speak.

***

Time passed by so many days, they stayed in Lauma Village for five days. Akma Jaya at that time shared a lot with poor people in the village. Share things with laughter and fun.

Not just introductions, but also a big smile. Happy they enjoy the atmosphere of their closeness to each other.

Filling up the day that keeps passing. The morning changed until the atmosphere changed at night. The breath of time passed, togetherness full of smiles.

Akma Jaya gave a helping hand to them, cheerfulness for as long as it existed.

Take those moments. The next day, just a few hours from the rolling sun as high as the shadow of a parallel stick, he was allowed to leave with his men. Leaving the village of Lauma they had stopped by, intending to continue the voyage.

On the beach, they all gathered to see Akma Jaya and the others gathered. Each of them spoke words. Some parting sentences.

“Goodbye, take good care of yourself!” Tabra exclaimed waving full hands in both eyes.

Aisha hugged one of the children who could not let her go.

“Uwuwu, you are so cute!” Aisha exclaimed in a pinch with both hands.

The little boy let out a tear, Aisha rubbed gently between the little boy's eyelids.

“Part yourself well, yes. If there is a time, next time big brother will come back here again, don't cry, you must be strong like big brother.”

Aisha spoke softly and they hugged. Aisha gave a joke and made the little boy filled with laughter that adorned his face, he tried to comfort the little boy.

Meanwhile, Akma Jaya looked at Adfain. They both shake hands.

“Akma Jaya, set your mind on something you told me last time, I'm waiting for a time when all the wishes you hope for are granted! I really look forward to that time.” Adfain smile.

Saying a farewell sentence. “You know that separation is not the end of everything. We could have met another day as a close friend or best friend.”

Akma Jaya nodded. “If that's possible, Adfain!" Akma Jaya was a little shrewd, why did she say it out loud?

“I feel good to meet you, hopefully next time we can meet again.” Adfain ignored Akma Jaya's reply saying a possible sentence. He just wanted to add the previous sentence.

Akma Jaya nodded back. “If that's possible, Adfain!” Akma Jaya repeated the same sentence, why would she say it over and over?

Is there an answer to that sentence? Adfain stared in wonder. He wonders to himself. His wish. Like something stuck in his chest, I don't know what? He did not know that answer.

“Ah, if that's possible? Why does your dad say the same? Can I find out why?” adfain asked, asking courageously.

Akma Jaya replied, “Why do you want to know and ask so?”

“You know. Shame to ask, perverted on the way. As soon as my heart says.” Adfain explains his potluck honestly and not fabricatedly.

“Nothing I need to answer, Adfain.”

“Only, do you know about someone's destiny? Even my mind and heart cannot know it. He is invisible, impermeable to the light of sight. A secret I can't know.”

Akma Jaya explained the reason for which he was quite reasonable. Where at that time when he spoke with the wind that blows, blowing leaves of coconut trees on the beach and waves that sound soft, hit the sand of the beach.

“So that's what you mean. If that's possible?” Adfain.

“True. That's what I mean.” Akma Jaya nodded her head. How their conversation can be connected with pithing. Adfain was just guessing.

“If that's what you mean. At the end of this village. In a place roofed with dried coconut leaves, a simple house forms, a house under a large tree. There is one expert in knowing destiny, do you have the desire to know destiny? I can deliver you to him.” Adfain brushed aside the words of Akma Jaya subtly.

That means one's destiny can be known by an expert. Hearing of that, Akma Jaya appreciated him, but stuck to his faith.

“Among you and me, Adfain. I admit it in some minds of people like us and everything is sometimes different, out of tune. That's probably life. There are some people who are in tune. Between you and me it turns out our minds are out of sync. To me no one can know what a person's destiny is, nor his own destiny.”

Akma Jaya continued saying, “About destiny is like a fallen leaf blown by the wind, sometimes someone can just guess where the place he died, the assumption is sometimes right and sometimes wrong.” Akma Jaya pointed at the fallen leaves in the wind.

However, Akma Jaya still appreciates Adfain's previous narrative. He gave only a glimpse of the parable. “And when the leaves of my destiny fell, I could not prevent it. The leaf fell by itself when it fell and the leaf could not be glued back. Isn't it useless even though I know my destiny from the person you mentioned earlier, even though he can know someone's destiny, the leaf that I forgot that destiny can't be glued back together.”.

“Then why do I know destiny, if it is only a guess. Precisely it will only make me anxious and not necessarily the direction of the goal.”

Akma Jaya replied at length, Adfain beside her was silent just listening and nodding softly. He smiled looking at Akma Jaya. “The words you say are true. I want to thank you, you are insightful and able to give me a parable that sounds beautiful.”

“I'm not what you imagined, Adfain. That's just a little bit of what I know.”

“I get the point, you humble yourself like a more filled plant, the more down.”

Tabra there was enough to look at the conversation of the two of them. Suddenly the man who had been mentioned by Adfain was able to know that fate was accentuating him from behind. Actually he has long been aka daritadi in that place. More precisely he also attended the departure of Akma Jaya was not seen by anyone.

However, during that time he did not show himself. Choosing to disguise himself and his presence, now he chose to highlight himself after hearing Akma Jaya and Adfain who had just discussed himself.

He brought his face closer to Akma Jaya's face. “Hey, how dare you black-haired, dressed in black. What do you know about destiny? I can know someone's destiny since I was born.”

Actually the guy wanted to mention the color of the skin. But, it can't be because Akma Jaya is fair-skinned even though it's a bit macho. How could he possibly mock in that way, it forced him to mention the color of his hair and clothes.

He continued walking full of ramblings around Akma Jaya. Mouth wide open with an angry face. However, when he was beside Akma Jaya, the longer he stayed there. His face turned pale, not the power to stare any longer because of the authority of a Captain who was attached to Akma Jaya.

“What's your name?” ask Akma Jaya. Stop the face of that person.

Hearing that, the person who had been pale now seemed to turn happy, his previous expression that looked pale turned a little bright.

“Introduce my name Asra Burona,” says she introduced herself. Then wanting to say something, reflexively Asra Burona approached and whispered something.

“Friends, I can see your destiny. But, this one is different from the other people I met. Your destiny is confusing, I can't bear to tell you!” That's the whisper he whispers.

Akma Jaya only smiled when she heard it and replied, “It's okay if you don't want to tell me, I don't need it either.”

Asra Burona chuckled cutely, while Adfain stared confusedly. I don't know what they whispered? Adfain doesn't know, they know enough. Asra Burona's attitude seemed to have indeed changed from before.

“Alright, happy parting!” Asra Burona was filled with smiles and reached out to shake each other, Akma Jaya accepted with a delighted expression.

That day, my friend. The smiles of all of them were beautiful, the peace of the atmosphere enveloped the farewell.

How long the hand was stroking in the wind that blew. In each place, they lined up neatly staring at the departure of Akma Jaya, Tabra, Aisha and other men.
