The Black Pirates

The Black Pirates
CH. 53 – Past Aswa Daula

In the crowded market atmosphere, during the day with the blazing sun shining brightly, some sweat sweat dripping down. Aswa Daula was busy compiling the merchandise.

"Aswa, the weather's so hot, are you still working? Look, everyone seems to be resting!" said one of the traders.

"Do you not want to rest?"

"I'm used to working in the hot sun, I'm not tired!"

Aswa Daula continued to work on compiling the spices, the merchant went to rest. Her mother also rested, the two of them were selling together.

The day passed again, the whirring of the wind blew carrying the events that had already passed. The leaves of fate wafts, giving the impression of a life covered in memories.

In 1689

Where at that time, cloudy clouds mixed with rumbling sounds, rain was about to fall, Aswa Daula who was trading, she rushed to clear the merchandise.

Together with the mother who helped him, even though Aswa Daula.

"Mother, let me just clean up this merchandise."

"No, Son. I'll keep doing it because it's my own will!"

His mother still insisted, with a breath of fatigue, the elderly woman with dexterity, the skill of handling merchandise so skillfully, maybe it had become a habit that he often did.

A storm in the ocean raged with huge waves hitting the ship, a captain and his crew crossed the ocean, crashing into the waves to get to Daura Village.

The captain, none other than Akma Jaya along with Tabra and Aisha, the three of them sailed towards Daura Village.

On a clear day, Aswa Daula returned to trading, the market atmosphere as usual, crowded with buyers who bid on the price of goods.

Each trader has a different attitude in responding to the offer, some reason that the price has been set, can not be bid.

Some other traders choose to succumb and agree with the price offered by the buyer, that is the atmosphere of the market, boisterous sounds clearly heard in the ear.

The cleverness of a buyer is recognized, if he managed to bargain for goods that were expensive turned into cheap. That is a glimpse of the habits of mothers at that time who pride themselves on each other.

Aswa Daula was busy selling spices, although deserted by fans, she did not give up.

"Spice! A spice! Bought it! Purchased it!" aswa Daula shouted with a waving hand.

He had shouted, trying with his indomitable attitude. However, it is still a quiet state of enthusiasts, likely for now they do not need spices.

Shortly after, a black-robed person along with the two people who were with him, the three of them approached Aswa Daula's place.

The black-robed person, none other than Akma Jaya and the two people who were with her were Tabra and Aisha, the three of them bought the merchandise sold by Aswa Daula.

Discussion broke out between them, after Aswa Daula wrapped the spice.

"How much?" Akma Jaya asked, Tabra and Aisha just flinching. The spice has been wrapped neatly in a plastic bag.

Aswa Daula mentioned the price, immediately Akma Jaya paid without bidding.

After that, Akma Jaya invited him to join the group he founded.

"Are you willing to join our group?" Akma Jaya starts by asking.

Aswa Daula had a surprised face.

"What do you mean?"

"We are a Pirate group, are you willing to join?"

"Even if we're Pirates, but we're different from others, we're going to create ocean peace!"

Tabra explained it.

"Ja–so, you guys are pirates?!" Aswa Daula was stunned, she was so scared after knowing it.

Hearing the repetition of the word from Tabra, he breathed quietly. However, Aswa Daula rejected him, she let out a quite loud voice.

However, in the midst of his rejection, a mother who was beside him seemed to smile and accept, even told Aswa Daula to join the Akma Jaya Group, however, he still refused.

They both seemed to whisper quietly.

"Mother, I will not join any pirate group, despite their reasons for peace!"

"But, Nak–"

"Already, mother. Please understand, I don't want to join, listen, mom. I don't want to join a pirate group, even if they say it's for peace!" The quiet voice of Aswa Daula while holding her mother's cheek.

Aswa Daula, she then looked at Akma Jaya and let out her voice of rejection.

"I decided, I don't want to join your group."

"All right, then. I won't force you!"

Akma Jaya gave it to him, he bought some cooking spices, after which the three of them left the place.

The reason the three of them paid a visit to Daura Village was to want to recruit members for the Black Pirates because the region was safe enough to roam around, whereas the other region, was, the three of them had already been fugitives long enough to be chased by many pirates.

Aswa Daula's mother was elderly, with an age that was about to reach a hundred years, but she was still strong standing, walking and doing activities in general.

A few days later, Aswa Daula's mother was killed by one of the buyers who did not want to pay, the elderly woman could not fight, how very sad, how sad, at that time Aswa Daula was not in place.

When he got to the sale, he found his mother bleeding, many people gathered around him.

Again, the sweat flooded his body. He asked around the person who was focusing attentively.

"Who among you has seen the perpetrator of this murder?" Aswa Daula spoke out loud.

Some of the people who were there looked unmoved, while Aswa Daula shouted, making the crowd multiply.

"Sorry before, I saw the perpetrator, but in a faint light, he was a casual buyer!" said one of the men.

Suddenly tears poured out, flowing.

"Ohhhh!!" Aswa Daula was hysterically shouting.

"Nhuk ...." His mother coughed out blood. Looking at Aswa Daula.

His two eyes were slightly dim, slowly he felt the face of Aswa Daula.

"As.wa, uhuk huks." His mother spoke intermittently with a coughing voice accompanying him.

"Iii–ibuuu?!" Aswa Daula was wide-eyed as she hugged tightly, clenching with tears, she moaned in softly mentioning her mother.

At that time, the sound of whispers accompanied by breath that blows slowly, Aswa Daula welcomed the sound while bringing her ears closer.

"Son, join the Black Pirates, uhuk."

His mouth spewed out fresh blood as well as wide gaping wounds, the wound was spitting out blood, blood that continued to pour.

His mother breathed her last. The word was said with dimming eyes.

"Iii–ibu ...."

Aswa Daula runs out of vocabulary, she keeps her mother. Affection is poured out, emanated from the sobs of a divorce.

All those who growl are moved and shed tears, unfortunate events are covered in grief, even wrapped in misfortune such as falling on the fate, blood again blood.

Exactly a week of time passed, the day of grief was crammed, the look on Aswa Daula's face was still sad, lowered there was no spirit racing.

Since that incident, Aswa Daula has been traveling around looking for Akma Jaya, fatefully meeting them in one of the markets until he joined the Black Pirates.

Aswa Daula did not give his name or his life history because Akma Jaya did not ask. On another matter than that, he did not know, that Akma Jaya was the son of Captain Lasha.
